Never Give Up may refer to:
"Never Give Up (Party Party)" was Paul Haig's fifth solo single. It was released in the UK on Island Records licensed through Les Disques du Crépuscule.
The track, along with the companion album Rhythm of Life, was recorded in New York with renowned produced Alex Sadkin. A wide range of guest musicians appeared on the album; Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins, Bernie Worrell of Funkadelic and Anton Fier of The Feelies.
In mainland Europe the single and album were released on Les Disques du Crépuscule.
Never Give Up, NME, 9 July 1983 Svelte, shorn and cleanly attired Mr Haig looms out of the cover photo for his latest release and invites you to party fairly leaping with lithesome young things all wearing Ray Bans.
Paul's the life and soul of the event though, I mean who needs a portable stereo system once Paul decides to open up with that golden syrupy voice of his? Paul's pal Groucho Smykle also turns up later and entertains the assembled crowd with an interesting, but sadly predictable party mix.
Believe is a 2001 gospel album released by Yolanda Adams, featuring the singles "Never Give Up," and "I'm Gonna Be Ready." This was Adams' final release on Elektra Records before the company folded. The track "Fo' Sho'" was done with labelmate Karen Clark-Sheard and was Sheard's first release after her near death experience. The first track, "Never Give Up", is said to be a response to the September 11th attacks. The album sold 67,000 copies at first week, and total sales is near platinum sales with over 700,000 units only to be certified Gold by the RIAA.
When you finally fade from those nights you spend
Doing god only knows with your new friends.
When you decide to come back you always can. Oh.
Our lives are seperate roads We've picked our seperate
ways
But this love I've found reminds me every day
That I still belive in you
I still have faith.
I have faith that you'll find your way.
And relize your mistakes. Cause I can't handle another
night alone.
And so I'm try'n to find words to convince you to stay.
Try'n to pick myself up
But you're getting away.
I keep falling down.
The words won't come out.
My tongue twists in circles keeps them trapped in my
mouth.
But I need the ocean or it's sand
Or the high that I felt when you first held my hand.
And honey I just can't feel right alone. Alone.
Is there hope for this?
Cause it's you that I miss.
And I can't handle another night alone.
~Instrumental Break~
Please stop the sound in the story line.
I'm falling apart
Watch me as I unravel tonight.
And sleep through my changing life.
Cause I can't handle another long goodbye.
Another sleepless night.
