Google employee Greg Estren dives into the forgotten history of the largest New York City building no one even knows: 111 Eighth Avenue, a 16-story structure bigger than the Empire State Building and Google’s NYC headquarters.
But this isn’t just another office building. It was a core piece of the bold plan that would reshape the region’s transportation network, reign in America’s railroad tycoons, create the Port Authority, and save New York.

the movie was done on christmas but due to minor editing mistakes it was held til new years ...so here we are the movie its finally done and hopefully we can get people to search for THE REPORTER MOVIE and add it to your net flix que.....ok thanks for the views and if you dont know the movie was something i came up with off the top of my head and decided to bring a little comedy out the hood cause its too many gangster movie when we know how to be funny too.
just one news reporter doing what ever it takes to get a good story and he comes across all types of trouble to get the report. so hope you all enjoy the film and once again thanks for watching.

In this video I ride from West Village Manhattan to Midtown and back. I specifically choose this route to showcase the great protected bike lanes which exist on the west side of the city on 8th and 9th Ave. For the most part I felt very safe riding in these bike lanes.
I used my Contour Roam 2 camera to shoot the action footage and recorded the audio with my Panasonic voice recorder and earpiece microphone. I tracked the speed and heart rate using my Garmin eTrex 30 GPS, and wrote a basic program in Turing to refresh the numbers on the screen for displaying it.
New York City is a great bicycling city! I encourage you to explore the city on a bike if you ever visit.

Eighth Avenue (Manhattan)
Eighth Avenue is a north-south avenue on the west side of Manhattan in New York City, carrying northbound traffic below 59th Street. While the avenue has different names at different points in Manhattan, it is actually one continuous stretch of road.
Description
Eighth Avenue begins in the West Village neighborhood at Abingdon Square (where Hudson Street becomes 8th Avenue at an intersection with Bleecker Street) and runs north for 44 blocks through Chelsea, the Garment District, Hell's Kitchen's east end, Midtown and the Broadway theatre district in the eponymous neighborhood, before it finally enters Columbus Circle at 59th Street and becomes Central Park West. North of Frederick Douglass Circle, it resumes its Eighth Avenue designation, but is also known as Frederick Douglass Boulevard. The avenue ends north of 155th Street, and merges into the Harlem River Drive.
The New York City Subway IND Eighth Avenue Line (A C E trains in Lower Manhattan and the A B C D trains in Upper Manhattan) runs under Eighth Avenue.

In this video I ride from West Village Manhattan to Midtown and back. I specifically choose this route to showcase the great protected bike lanes which exist on the west side of the city on 8th and 9th Ave. For the most part I felt very safe riding in these bike lanes.
I used my Contour Roam 2 camera to shoot the action footage and recorded the audio with my Panasonic voice recorder and earpiece microphone. I tracked the speed and heart rate using my Garmin eTrex 30 GPS, and wrote a basic program in Turing to refresh the numbers on the screen for displaying it.
New York City is a great bicycling city! I encourage you to explore the city on a bike if you ever visit.
