Bulleya

"Bulleya" (Urdu: بللیہ, literal English translation: "Oh! Bulleh Shah") is a song by the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, released in 1999. It is the first track from the band's fifth album, Parvaaz (1999), recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London and released on EMI Records. The song is a famous kafi written by the sufi saint Bulleh Shah. Bulleh Shah is famous for his spiritual and metaphysical poetry, and Bullah Ki Jaana (the poem on which the song is based) is one of his well-known poems. The song is composed and produced by lead guitarist and founder of the band Salman Ahmad. It is the lead single on the album, the song uses blending of rock guitars and bluesy vocals with eastern elements like the use of tablas, raga-inspired melodies and traditional Pakistani folk music.

It is considered one of the best sufi rock songs ever recorded by Junoon, and is often performed at concerts. The song is one of most well known and popular track by Junoon, also listeners and critics have continued to praise "Bulleya" as one of the greatest rock songs of all time in Pakistani music industry.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is an upcoming Indian romance film directed and written by Karan Johar. The film will star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. It also stars Fawad Khan. It is slated to release on 28 October 2016.

On 6 February at the India Conference at Harvard, Johar revealed that in the film Ranbir plays the character of a Hindu boy, Aayan, and Anushka plays a Muslim girl, Alizeh.

Development and casting

"...it is not a conventional love story or love triangle. It's a film that dwells deeply on relationships, heartbreaks and how love completes you, defines you and yet leaves you wanting for more. I have never had, in my entire career, a film that has come to me so fast, so organically and so from within."

The film was first announced in November 2014. Writer-director Karan Johar said that for the past year and a half, he had been developing a story that he needed to work on for another 3 to 5 months. However, while he was in New York, the idea for 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' came to him and he wrote the screenplay in 30 days, something he had never done before. When he came back to India, he spoke to the three lead actors and they all signed on immediately.

Sunny M.R.

Sunny M.R. is an Indian composer, Music Producer, Sound Engineer and Playback Singer. He is best known for the Telugu film Swamy Ra Ra (2013),Uyyala Jampala (2013). Musicperk.com rated the album 8/10, quoting "A fresh waft of cool music! Experimental Magic with simplicity". He won Global Indian Music Award, Mirchi Music Award for Bollywood movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) as "Best Music Arranger cum Programmer" and " Song Programmer cum Arranger of the Year " in 2014.

Early life

Sunny M.R. studied at St. Anthony's High School, St. Anne's High School,Patna and then joined as sound engineer to assist his accomplished brother,Shadab Rayeen.After 6 months Sunny became an Independent Sound Engineer at age of 15.He mastered mixing,arranging,composing various tunes primarily worked with Keerthana Digital studios,Hyderabad,Telangana for 6 years.

Career

In Keerthana Digital studios,Sunny collaborated 350 Albums mastering ragas from Carnatic Music.In Initial stage he used to hate doing Carnatic tunes but later realised that jazz is harmonised version of Carnatic music.Started loving and doing Albums with Carnatic ragas. Sunny moved to Mumbai to meet Sandeep Chowta and joined as Sound Engineer.Late Anil Kumar,Music Director and Krishna Chaitanya,Telugu songs lyricist inspired Sunny to join as Music Director.Sudheer Varma,The Director of Telugu Film Swamy Ra Ra selected Sunny.He is part of Innovative Open Music Community called Blogswara. The Blogswara team appreciated for Sunny's entry as Music Director.

Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra  pronunciation  (born 24 November 1982) is an Indian cricketer. He is an attacking right-arm leg-break bowler and right-handed tail-ender batsman. He plays for Haryana in the domestic Ranji Trophy and currently appears for the T20 franchise Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League. In addition, he has represented India in Test, ODIs and T20s.

Mishra was initially called into the Indian squad for a Test against the West Indies in 2002, but was not selected. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against South Africa during the TVS Cup in 2003. He plays for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League.

Test and ODI career

Mishra made his Test cricket debut against Australia in the Second Test at Mohali (PCA ground) after captain and first-choice leg spinner Anil Kumble was injured. He took 5 wickets for 71 runs in Australia's first innings and then 2/35 in the second, making him the leading wicket-taker in the match as India proceeded to a decisive victory. Despite this, Indian coach Gary Kirsten said that Mishra would be dropped if Kumble recovered for the Third Test. However, Harbhajan Singh was injured so Mishra retained his place when Kumble came in. Kumble was then injured during the Test and retired, leaving Mishra as India's first-choice Test leg spinner.

Arjun Chandy

Arjun Chandy is an Indo-American singer, arranger, studio vocalist and vocal group coach from Dallas, Texas. He is trained in Carnatic, Hindustani and Western music that he studied and performed for over twenty years throughout the United States, India and Singapore.

Career

Chandy hails from a family where his grandmother was a Carnatic singer. Further he was trained in Hindustani singing. During his school days, he learnt to read music and studied music theory, joining the school choir. According to him, it helped to understand western classical music. When Chandy was 14, he started singing for a quartet in the school.

At the age of 15, he started working professionally, conducting and arranging music for groups in United States. Later, he went became a part of The Vocal Majority in the U.S., a national award-winning vocal group. Arjun Chandy was roped in the formation of "NAFS- The Band" when A. R. Rahman called him to Chennai at the end of 2013. Chandy is presently the band's director and conductor. He spent a year and a half post 2013 to train the band.
