The Private Life of Deer - Amazing Nature Documentary (HD)
Whitetailed deer seem to be always around us, whether they're grazing alongside our roadways, feasting on plants in our backyards or darting into the woods, though these "neighbors" do like to protect their privacy. While other species may be negatively impacted by human development, it is just the opposite for the whitetails. "We as humans have created pretty much the perfect habitat for deer," explains Dr. Jay Boulanger, who coordinates Cornell University's Deer Research and Management Program. "These are areas that have a wide diversity of plants that deer can eat, versus, say, a rural forest."
Just a century ago, there were less than a million deer in North America. Today, there are nearly 30 million. The Private Life of Deer looks at how these wild deer interact with one another, and how they adapt to living in a suburban environment.
A deer doe abandoned one of her twin fawns, the fawn had injured leg and could not keep up with the mother.
I do not support keeping wild animals as a pets, but this was special situation. The baby deer was healed and released back to her real mother.
Update: The doe and two her fawns is still around, we seen them through the summer and the autumn.
I am thankful for every single person who liked, shared and left a comment. I didn't expect this story to become so popular. I am sure that any of us with a little bit of a conscience about our existence, with love for the nature and animals would do the same.

1. A group of English theme park visitors were showered with deer blood after the rollercoaster they were riding hit a wayward deer
2. Dashcam footage shows the deer performing a triple axel as it goes flying over the hood of a cop’s cruiser in Decoursey Pike, Kentucky.
3. Deer fakes dead! A hunter is startled when a playacting buck "rises from the dead," with hilarious results. Hunter and YouTube user Nick Faber can be seen climbing down from a deer stand. His mobile phone filming, he walks a few yards to document the kill.
4. Filmed on June 2015, the video shows an adult deer screaming for its life as a young bear bites down on its neck. The two animals struggle for the duration of the video, which lasts less than minute. The video quickly went viral, and is still one of the rarest moments caught on camera.
5. A white-tailed deer jumped through the windshield of a CamTran bus in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The bus was carrying just one female passenger when the deer suddenly broke through the front of the bus.

Video from a New Jersey Patrolman's dash cam shows a driver pulled over on the side of the road after having just hit a deer with her car, but then the deer tried to get in the car. The driver, Ellen Sager, said she pulled over to see if it was ok, but when she opened the car door it must have thought that was an invitation to come inside. She said she pushed her foot into its chest to stop it from coming in. Sager was ok, but unfortunately the deer did not survive its injuries.

Deer rescues are always the most intense and rewarding ones, and this one is no exception. We were called out to check a female roe deer who was hit by a car. She had a few deep cuts on her head, so Simon decided to take her back to the hospital. Time is of the essence with deer, as they suffer from capture myopathy, which is a complex disease associated with the capture or handling of any wild animal. A deer can die of capture myopathy when too stressed. For that reason, Emma, our vet, quickly stitched the wounds and rushed back with Simon to where the deer was found. Once in the woods, the deer was struggling to stand up and was showing no will to live. After a lot of effort from Simon to keep her up, she managed to stand on her own, but failed to take her first steps... Watch this emotional video to see if she survived!

Deer
Deer (singular and plural) are the ruminant mammals forming the family Cervidae. Species in the family include the white-tailed deer, mule deer (such as the black-tailed deer), elk, moose, red deer, reindeer (caribou), fallow deer, roe deer, pudú and chital. Male deer of all species (except the Chinese water deer) and female reindeer grow and shed new antlers each year. In this they differ from permanently horned animals, such as antelope, which are in the same order as deer and may bear a superficial resemblance to them.
The musk deer of Asia and water chevrotain (or mouse deer) of tropical African and Asian forests are not usually regarded as true deer and form their own families: Moschidae and Tragulidae, respectively.
Terminology
The word deer was originally broader in meaning, but became more specific over time. In Middle English, der (Old English dēor) meant a wild animal of any kind. This was in contrast to cattle, which then meant any sort of domestic livestock that was easy to collect and remove from the land, from the idea of personal-property ownership (rather than real estate property) and related to modern chattel (property) and capital. Cognates of Old English dēor in other dead Germanic languages have the general sense of animal, such as Old High German tior, Old Norse djur or dȳr, Gothic dius, Old Saxon dier, and Old Frisian diar.

A deer doe abandoned one of her twin fawns, the fawn had injured leg and could not keep up with the mother. I do not support keeping wild animals as a pets, but this was special situation. The baby deer was healed and released back to her real mother. Update: The doe and two her fawns is still around, we seen them through the summer and the autumn. I am thankful for every single person who liked, shared and left a comment. I didn't expect this story to become so popular. I am sure that any of us with a little bit of a conscience about our existence, with love for the nature and animals would do the same. Video from a New Jersey Patrolman's dash cam shows a driver pulled over on the side of the road after having just hit a deer with her car, but then the deer tried to get in the car. The driver, Ellen Sager, said she pulled over to see if it was ok, but when she opened the car door it must have thought that was an invitation to come inside. She said she pushed her foot into its chest to stop it from coming in. Sager was ok, but unfortunately the deer did not survive its injuries.

Deer rescues are always the most intense and rewarding ones, and this one is no exception. We were called out to check a female roe deer who was hit by a car. She had a few deep cuts on her head, so Simon decided to take her back to the hospital. Time is of the essence with deer, as they suffer from capture myopathy, which is a complex disease associated with the capture or handling of any wild animal. A deer can die of capture myopathy when too stressed. For that reason, Emma, our vet, quickly stitched the wounds and rushed back with Simon to where the deer was found. Once in the woods, the deer was struggling to stand up and was showing no will to live. After a lot of effort from Simon to keep her up, she managed to stand on her own, but failed to take her first steps... Watch this emoti...

Researchers have only recently found the longest large mammal migration in the continental United States: Mule deer migrate 150 miles (241 kilometers) in western Wyoming each year. And it's no easy task for them—barriers include highways, fences, tough terrain, and bodies of water. In this video by Joe Riis, a National Geographic grantee and regular contributor, see the modern-day obstacles mule deer overcome to make the migratory trek that they likely have been making for generations.

Video from a New Jersey Patrolman's dash cam shows a driver pulled over on the side of the road after having just hit a deer with her car, but then the deer tried to get in the car. The driver, Ellen Sager, said she pulled over to see if it was ok, but when she opened the car door it must have thought that was an invitation to come inside. She said she pushed her foot into its chest to stop it from coming in. Sager was ok, but unfortunately the deer did not survive its injuries.

Deer rescues are always the most intense and rewarding ones, and this one is no exception. We were called out to check a female roe deer who was hit by a car. She had a few deep cuts on her head, so Simon decided to take her back to the hospital. Time is of the essence with deer, as they suffer from capture myopathy, which is a complex disease associated with the capture or handling of any wild animal. A deer can die of capture myopathy when too stressed. For that reason, Emma, our vet, quickly stitched the wounds and rushed back with Simon to where the deer was found. Once in the woods, the deer was struggling to stand up and was showing no will to live. After a lot of effort from Simon to keep her up, she managed to stand on her own, but failed to take her first steps... Watch this emotional video to see if she survived!

Talk about self-filmed 100% raw real do-it-yourself bow hunting perfection! If that doesn't get you jacked up something is wrong! Hunt details: Day 3 of Missouri bow season - September 17, 2016. 63 degrees. Light rain. W wind. Transition area between fenced field and thick timber. Deer was harvested at 7:00 am. Deer's belly was full of late-Summer browse (all green) and zero acorns or grain. Broadhead went through both lungs for a quick, clean, kill.

There is nothing more exciting than hunting these gigantic mule deer in southern Saskatchewan, I waited seven years to get drawn in our favourite area again. And let me tell you it was worth the wait! I had three days to hunt early season archery mule deer with my son, Troy, and good buddy, Eric, who filmed the hunt. After scouting the area I finally found a buck worth chasing. With two oppurtunites at him within 50 yards, with a risky shot. I decided I could come back in muzzleloader season rather than take a chance at wounding the magnificent buck. Gun season came around and my father joined me for eight days of hard hunting with no sign of the buck. Lots of oppurtunites at great deer but I had my heart set on a 200+. Late afternoon of our eigth day we jumped one of the biggest bucks I have ever set my eyes on. As he ran out of the coullee I put the binos up to make sure he was what I wanted as my father yelled in the background "SHOOT"! One quick glance and the gun came up with a missed shot as the buck was at a full run about 150 yards away. I didnt even care I missed at the time, just to see a buck like that is something incredible. Plus I knew where he was headed and with a light rain I knew I would get another crack. Sure enough I jumped him again at 175 yards with a quick shot. with no time to range I shot over his back and he headed over the hill. I quickly ran over the hill and jumped him out of the first little coulee he could find. I made that one count but he took off wide open. As I made my way to the valley he disappeared into I was able to watch him slowly bed down as low light set in. Between the rain and the low light I wasnt going to take a chance scaring him up out of his bed because I've been there, done that, and it never ends well! As luck would have it the coyotes found him over night and unfortunately the delicious deer meat my family was hoping for was ruined. Its amazing what a few coyotes can eat in a short period of time. The mule deer of my life (so far), and another adventure I will never forget! Big thanks to everyone who helped me along the way!
