He's best known for British gangster romps, but director Guy Ritchie's latest project is reportedly a Disney film.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 48-year-old ex-husband of Madonna is in talks to direct the live-action remake of 1992 animated classic, Aladdin.

The remake comes as Disney churns through its back catalogue with live-action remakes of Cinderella and The Jungle Book smashing the box office in recent years. Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins Returns, The Lion King and Mulan remakes are also in production.
British-born Ritchie is best known for crime films including The Man from U.N.C.L.E, Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and 2008's Sherlock Holmes, which starred Robert Downey Jn.
Aladdin will be Ritchie's first children's film, an area he has wanted to break into for some time after having his first child, Rocco, with Madonna in 2000.
"As I get more and more involved in the child's world with Rocco, I'm getting interested in making a film for children," he said in 2010.
The original Aladdin film released in 1992 garnered Disney two Oscars and was the highest-grossing film of the year. The genie was voice by the late Robin Williams.
The popular story, which retold the Middle-Eastern folk tale of a young man granted three wishes by a genies trapped in a lamp, has most recently been translated to a successful stage production, which is currently in Sydney.
Disney's live-action remake has been written by Charlie's Angels writer John August, while casting for the roles of Aladdin and Jasmine is yet to be announced.
