THE GOOD: Is there anything more joyous than Lupita Nyong’o in head-to-toe yellow wearing a dress dotted by Birds of Paradise? Nien. And is there a look more elegant than Lupes in a blue, white and cappuccino strapless Erdem? Nope. I’m calling it: this is pinnacle stuff. Her gorgeous matching head wraps, great lipstick game and just general shine-bright-like-a-diamond-ness are all helping on the resplendence front. I want to sit next to her. Photo: Getty -

THE GOOD: Here’s another Valentino look, and while Steinfeld’s pop of red was punchy and yet prim, Olga Kurylenko’s blush rose dress is subtle yet slamming. The level of pleat in the skirt is perfection, her Audrey Hepburn fringe is giving me hair envy and that sky blue clutch is a great complement. When the sea of Balmains and Julien Macdonalds leave a bad taste in your mouth, just remember the Valentinos and Vivienne Westwoods of this world. They’re the perfect antidote. Photo: Getty -

But then I’m getting Charlize Theron meets Annie Lennox meets Katherine Moennig vibes from Kristen Stewart’s look here, and let’s be honest, that’s a super-cool combo. THE BAD: My sense of humour hovers at fart jokes 90 per cent of the time and so I feel Jennifer Lawrence and I would gel. If we were mates I'd tell her to get the blazes out of her Dior contract because the fact they've turned this wondrous woman into Sporty Spice in mom jeans is unforgivable. That said, when she bought me a third round of drinks on a Friday night (and expensive Pinot Noir at that) thanks to the pay cheque from the aforementioned Dior contract I'd suck it up.
