Henri Mallard: Building the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

New exhibition showcases the birth of Sydney's Harbour Bridge

Henri Mallard, a Balmain local, was a photographic supply store worker when construction on what would become an iconic Australian landmark began – the Sydney Harbour Bridge, or the "coat hanger", as it would become affectionately known to locals.

Inverted life: Robyn Stacey's camera obscura installations

Since 2013, Sydney-based photographer Robyn Stacey has been transforming rooms into walk-in camera obscuras, early forms of cameras which project the outside world inside. Her latest series of installations, Dark Wonder , creates the 'magic mirror of life' in the studios and residences of notable Australians, from the Rose Seidler House to Wendy Whitely's Lavendar Bay residence. Dark Wonder is on exhibition at Stills Gallery, Sydney until November 5.
