A young disabled woman has broken down on 3AW Mornings while explaining an attack on her car parked outside a hospital on Sunday.

Bronwyn was reduced to tears while speaking with Neil Mitchell about the tire-slashing.

The 31-year-old mother-of-two, who has a metal leg and fused ankle, said she was regularly abused for parking in disabled spaces.

"I'm sick of having to defend my disability," she said.

"The moment we got out of the car I started receiving abuse saying I was fat and lazy."

And yesterday's attack proved to be the breaking point.
