On Monday, the first part of Sold Out hit the Internet. The subsequent parts rolled out over the rest of the week, but if you've been patiently waiting to take in the entire project in one sitting, your day has come. Above you'll find the full-length cut of Sold Out, with all four parts edited into a single cohesive whole.

In 1994, James Jebbia opened the first Supreme location in a small storefront on Lafayette Street in New York. At the time, Supreme was a brand for skaters by skaters—even the design for the shop was more open so skaters could come right in with their skateboards. But today, 21 years later, Supreme is a legendary streetwear brand that’s cultivated a cult following well beyond that original fan base. Continuing to release product in tightly controlled, limited amounts, the brand is as big as it wants to be in New York, Los Angeles, and London; a titan in Japan—arguably its largest market.
Complex has covered Supreme for well over a decade (Complex was founded in 2002). Most of it was from afar; we wrote about releases or lookbooks. But for the last year or so, our Complex News team has been reporting from the Lafayette Street shop to cover in-store launches. Every story was the same: Lines snaked around the block, kids camped out for hours or days, sometimes even in subfreezing temperatures, just to get any Supreme item. Each Thursday drop was chaos. In April 2014, the NYPD canceled the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One in-store launch at the NYC flagship after a riot nearly broke out earlier that day.
But there was something much bigger here. We learned that many were in line to purchase gear that they’d later flip online for big profits, selling apparel and other items for as much as 1,200 percent above retail value. “We started to get to know these people and realized there was a business here and real money to be made,” explains Emily Oberg, Complex Editorial Producer and one of the directors of this documentary. While the reselling market is hardly new, and people have been selling Supreme online for years, it’s yet to be the focus of serious investigation—until now.

Complex’s docuseries Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers explores the world of reselling Supreme, where cutthroat fans do whatever it takes to purchase gear from the streetwear brand, and then sell the goods themselves for big profits. Our four-part series embeds the individuals who perpetuate this global phenomenon to get an on-the-ground look at the illicit market of Supreme apparel.
Supreme doesn’t support resellers. James Jebbia, the brand’s founder, said as much in a rare interview with streetwear blog Rift Trooper back in 2002. “I don’t like it very much simply because we try our best to make our clothing affordable for young people,” he explained. “After all, Supreme is a skate brand and when I do see our things on eBay the prices are normally at least double what they should be. I much prefer if someone buys something from us that they plan on wearing it and not selling.”
It’s a sentiment expressed by Supreme employees across the board, including those who work at the brick and mortar shops. During the filming of this documentary, the resellers we interviewed revealed that they’ve been denied their purchases or entrance into Supreme stores. But it isn’t only Supreme who disapproves of the business and those who flip product for big profits. While some of the resellers we spoke to say they’re supported by friends and family, some admit to a lack of approval because, as they put it, the term “resellers” has a negative connotation to it.
The fourth, and final, episode of Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers explains, as per top menswear editors and other experts, why Supreme should or shouldn’t view the business as benefiting the brand. It also tells the story of the adverse reactions resellers have faced—but also the friendships these individuals have made.

Being a Supreme reseller is no easy feat. The resale market can be lucrative—individuals can make thousands of dollars a year—but the competition is steep; everyone has their own tactics. There's more to it than lining up outside the Lafayette Street store on a Thursday morning. There's more to it than setting up an eBay account.
The third episode of Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers gets into the specifics of turning a profit flipping Supreme product. Here, the resellers make sense of how someone in their teens can earn upwards of $4,000 selling T-shirts, and exactly how one can turn this into a full-time job. They'll also break down their own individual formulas for success: researching the market, knowing which items to purchase, learning how to price products, and building credibility.

Selling out
Selling out is a common idiomatic pejorative expression for the compromising of a person's integrity, morality, authenticity, or principles in exchange for personal gain, such as money. In terms of music or art, selling out is associated with attempts to tailor material to a mainstream or commercial audience; for example, a musician who alters his material to encompass a wider audience, and in turn generates greater revenue, may be labeled by fans who pre-date the change as a sellout.
In politics
In political movements a "sellout" is a person or group claiming to adhere to one ideology, only to follow these claims up with actions contradicting them, such as a revolutionary group claiming to fight for a particular cause, but failing to continue this upon obtaining power.
An example of political selling out is a political party who has formed a coalition with another party it had historically opposed, such as the Liberal Democrats' leader Nick Clegg's coalition with the Conservative Party after the 2010 general election in the United Kingdom.

Our four-part series embeds the individuals who perpetuate this global phenomenon to get an on-the-ground look at the illicit market of Supreme apparel. Supreme doesn’t support resellers. James Jebbia, the brand’s founder, said as much in a rare interview with streetwear blog Rift Trooper back in 2002. “I don’t like it very much simply because we try our best to make our clothing affordable for young people,” he explained. “After all, Supreme is a skate brand and when I do see our things on eBay the prices are normally at least double what they should be. I much prefer if someone buys something from us that they plan on wearing it and not selling.” It’s a sentiment expressed by Supreme employees across the board, including those who work at the brick and mortar shops. During the filming of this documentary, the resellers we interviewed revealed that they’ve been denied their purchases or entrance into Supreme stores. But it isn’t only Supreme who disapproves of the business and those who flip product for big profits. While some of the resellers we spoke to say they’re supported by friends and family, some admit to a lack of approval because, as they put it, the term “resellers” has a negative connotation to it. The fourth, and final, episode of Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers explains, as per top menswear editors and other experts, why Supreme should or shouldn’t view the business as benefiting the brand. It also tells the story of the adverse reactions resellers have faced—but also the friendships these individuals have made. Complex has covered Supreme for well over a decade (Complex was founded in 2002). Most of it was from afar; we wrote about releases or lookbooks. But for the last year or so, our Complex News team has been reporting from the Lafayette Street shop to cover in-store launches. Every story was the same: Lines snaked around the block, kids camped out for hours or days, sometimes even in subfreezing temperatures, just to get any Supreme item. Each Thursday drop was chaos. In April 2014, the NYPD canceled the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One in-store launch at the NYC flagship after a riot nearly broke out earlier that day.
But there was something much bigger here. We learned that many were in line to purchase gear that they’d later flip online for big profits, selling apparel and other items for as much as 1,200 percent above retail value. “We started to get to know these people and realized there was a business here and real money to be made,” explains Emily Oberg, Complex Editorial Producer and one of the directors of this documentary. While the reselling market is hardly new, and people have been selling Supreme online for years, it’s yet to be the focus of serious investigation—until now.

Complex’s docuseries Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers explores the world of reselling Supreme, where cutthroat fans do whatever it takes to purchase gear from the streetwear brand, and then sell the goods themselves for big profits. Our four-part series embeds the individuals who perpetuate this global phenomenon to get an on-the-ground look at the illicit market of Supreme apparel.
Supreme doesn’t support resellers. James Jebbia, the brand’s founder, said as much in a rare interview with streetwear blog Rift Trooper back in 2002. “I don’t like it very much simply because we try our best to make our clothing affordable for young people,” he explained. “After all, Supreme is a skate brand and when I do see our things on eBay the prices are normally at least double what they should be. I much prefer if someone buys something from us that they plan on wearing it and not selling.”
It’s a sentiment expressed by Supreme employees across the board, including those who work at the brick and mortar shops. During the filming of this documentary, the resellers we interviewed revealed that they’ve been denied their purchases or entrance into Supreme stores. But it isn’t only Supreme who disapproves of the business and those who flip product for big profits. While some of the resellers we spoke to say they’re supported by friends and family, some admit to a lack of approval because, as they put it, the term “resellers” has a negative connotation to it.
The fourth, and final, episode of Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers explains, as per top menswear editors and other experts, why Supreme should or shouldn’t view the business as benefiting the brand. It also tells the story of the adverse reactions resellers have faced—but also the friendships these individuals have made.

Being a Supreme reseller is no easy feat. The resale market can be lucrative—individuals can make thousands of dollars a year—but the competition is steep; everyone has their own tactics. There's more to it than lining up outside the Lafayette Street store on a Thursday morning. There's more to it than setting up an eBay account.
The third episode of Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers gets into the specifics of turning a profit flipping Supreme product. Being a Supreme reseller is no easy feat. The resale market can be lucrative—individuals can make thousands of dollars a year—but the competition is steep; everyone has their own tactics. There's more to it than lining up outside the Lafayette Street store on a Thursday morning. There's more to it than setting up an eBay account.
The third episode of Sold Out: The Underground Economy of Supreme Resellers gets into the specifics of turning a profit flipping Supreme product. Here, the resellers make sense of how someone in their teens can earn upwards of $4,000 selling T-shirts, and exactly how one can turn this into a full-time job. They'll also break down their own individual formulas for success: researching the market, knowing which items to purchase, learning how to price products, and building credibility.

Republican Donald Trump referenced Bill Clinton's impeachment as he once again railed against Hillary Clinton's 'corruption' and suggested she 'had something' to avoid getting charged by the FBI in its email investigation.
'The American people have had it with years and decades of Clinton corruption and scandal,' Trump told a crowd of people in Bedford, New Hampshire. 'And impeachment for lying – impeachment for lying,' he said. 'Remember that? Impeach.'
Trump's return to impeachment talk comes days after he said he held back from bringing up Bill Clinton's affairs during the first presidential debate.
Trump said afterward he decided not to mention Bill Clinton's 'indiscretions,' saying, 'I didn't wanna say what I was going to say with Chelsea in the room
He continued to blast the immunity deals that top Clinton aides and those involved with setting up her email server got from the FBI – and suggested Clinton herself ended up with a form of de facto immunity.
FBI director James Comey did not charge her with a crime.
'You saw what happened about taking the Fifth Amendment am and her ring leaders getting immunity deals?' Trump asked a crowd who chanted repeatedly to 'lock her up.'
'We’ll call them really the FBI immunity five,' Trump said. 'They gave so much immunity there was nobody left to talk to. There was nobody left except Hillary. She had the immunity – She had something,' Trump said.
'She did so much worse than anybody else, Trump said. 'Honestly, it’s a disgrace.'
Trump repeated his new Watergate-based theme of 'follow the money' as he laced into Clinton fundraising, alleged favors, and scandals.
'The Clinton’s are the sordid past. We will be the very bright and clean future,' Trump said.
Clinton has been going after Trump repeatedly for failing to release his tax returns, something he has not yet said he'll do. A new report on Thursday revealed that a Trump company paid $68,000 doing business in Cuba, contravening the U.S. embargo.
He also suggested black voters won't turn out for her in November.
'I don’t think African Americans are going to come out and vote for Clinton. They’re too smart and they know they’re just being used by her and her campaign,' he said.
And he ridiculed her rally in the state the previous day.
'Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders had very few people at their rally yesterday. And that’s because they don’t like Hillary and Bernie sold out to the devil,' Trump said.
He said Sanders would have been known as a 'legendary character' had he not agreed to support Clinton. The two appeared together in the same state on Wednesday, as Clinton tries to boost slipping support among millenials.
'The people of New Hampshire and everywhere else don’t care about Bernie anymore because now they’re looking to the future and the future is going to be something special,' Trump said.
'We’re going to fulfill every single wish, every single promise. we’re going to do something very very significant for you. You’re strong, you’re independent and you are free. We are going to work very hard together over the next 40 days, can you believe it, 40 days,' Trump said.
Then he tried to dis his rival's campaign skills while mocking the size of her rally in the state the previous day.
'And she doesn’t speak well. In fact, they had a very small group of people was she here yesterday. Very small crowd. Very sad,' he said.
Trump said of his own crowd at the top of his rally, 'A lot of people coming in from outside. Should we wait? We’ll start.'
Although the indoor sports complex had a large crowd inside, there was plenty of green space, where its astro-turf was visible.
Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who is still on Trump's campaign payroll but is now a paid CNN commentator, was on hand for the event.
