Girl is a three-issue comic book limited series written by Peter Milligan and drawn by Duncan Fegredo. It was published in 1996 by Vertigo comics, an imprint of DC Comics.
The story follows the exploits of fifteen-year-old Simone Cundy, a resident of Bollockstown (a fictional English location), as she attempts to make sense of her uncontrollable apathy and discontent for life (early on, she cites girls, boys, the lottery, pop-stars, clothes, sport, tampons, television, Bollockstown and living among her chief dislikes). However, upon meeting Polly, the "blonde version" of herself, Simone struggles to maintain the line between reality and her imagination, all the while trying find some purpose in her rotten life.
Will Carver is a 31-year-old author who lives in Reading, England. He has written the Detective Inspector January David series, comprising Girl 4, The Two and Dead Set.
His early years were spent in Germany but he returned to the UK aged eleven where his sporting career began to flourish. He turned down a professional rugby contract to study a Theatre and Television degree at King Alfred’s, Winchester, where he also set up his own successful Theatre Company.
A string of jobs followed graduation including a cinema usher, coffee shop barista, video store clerk, bartender, clothes washer and driver for a documentary crew, eventually leading, somehow, into the lowest position possible within an IT company. All the time trying to write a play or novel.
Five years later, and several rungs up the IT ladder, he was made redundant and took this as the opportunity to write. When his first novel - a black comedy - was not taken up, one publisher suggested his writing style would suit a thriller. Six month later, Girl 4 was finished. Four months after that he was signed to Random House for three books. He is currently writing the fourth.
Nancy Elizabeth Benoit (née Toffoloni, formerly Daus and Sullivan; May 21, 1964 – June 22, 2007) was an American professional wrestling valet and model. She was best known for her appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling in the mid-1990s under the ring name Woman.
On June 22, 2007, she and her son were killed by her husband, wrestler Chris Benoit, who committed suicide two days later.
After graduating DeLand High School, Nancy got a job answering phones at State Farm Insurance. When George Napolitano needed a beautiful young girl for the cover of the June 1984 edition of the pro-wrestling magazine Wrestling All Stars, fellow photographer Bill Otten suggested the 20-year-old Nancy Toffoloni Daus for the role. Nancy, who had worked as a model, often sat alongside her then-husband Jim. She had also been selling programs at the Orlando shows and appeared as Para in the old "Apartment Wrestling" features. It was on this shoot where she met Kevin Sullivan, who eventually wanted her to be a part of his wrestling entourage. After months of convincing, Nancy finally became an on-air valet, taking the ring name "Fallen Angel".
Woman is a studio album by Nancy Sinatra, released in 1973. It was arranged by Larry Muhoberac.
Wishing to cut down on her career after marrying choreographer Hugh Lambert in 1970, Sinatra decided to not renew her Reprise contract and move instead to another label. She signed on with RCA Records in 1971. Her first album at the new label was Nancy & Lee - Again, a collaboration with Lee Hazlewood. The album has a strong country influence, including covers of recent country hits by Donna Fargo, Jody Miller, and George Jones, but was not released in the country market.
Woman was recorded at a quick speed and released with scant promotion and publicity. It quickly fell out of print, and became something of a lost classic.
Killers (キラーズ, kirāzu) is a 2003 theatrical compilation of five short film thrillers by five different Japanese directors. This compilation concept's official name is "Omnibus Action Movie".
Lady (Hangul: 레이디) was a Korean pop group, noted as the first transgender group from that country. The band consisted of Sinae, Sahara, Binu and Yuna. According to the official story, they were the best out of hundreds who tried out to be part of this band. Although only three were supposed to be in the group, a fourth was added at the last minute.
Their formation was inspired by the emergence of Harisu, a Korean singer and actress, who is also transgender. Sinae has previously appeared in commercials with a female dance group as well as a music video by Cho PD, and Sahara is a 2003 beauty pageant winner in Thailand and a former jeans model.
Lady released their first, self-titled album in 2005, consisting of eight tracks, many of them being remixes of their first two singles, "Attention" and "Ladies Night". There was much attention given to them by the press, given their unique status as a transgender band in a conservative country. However, they were able to perform on Korean music shows only a handful of times, while their music and videos were not well received. In order to drum up more publicity, they released a photobook featuring nude shots of all the Lady members; this also failed to catapult them into stardom, however.
"Lady" is a song written by Lionel Richie and first recorded by American country artist Kenny Rogers. It was released in September 1980 on the album Kenny Rogers' Greatest Hits.
It is listed at #47 on Billboard's All Time Top 100.
The song was written and produced by Lionel Richie, recorded in 1980, and ranks among Kenny Rogers's biggest hits. Rogers once told an interviewer, "The idea was that Lionel would come from R&B and I'd come from country, and we'd meet somewhere in pop." Lionel wrote the second sentence of the song while he was at the bathroom.
The success of "Lady" also boosted Richie's career. The production work on the song was his first outside the Commodores and foreshadowed his success as a solo act during the 1980s. Rogers was also a featured vocalist on "We Are the World", co-written by Richie. Richie performed the song himself on his 1998 album, Time, and he and Rogers performed the song as a duet on Richie's 2012 release "Tuskegee".

Recently David Benoit, son of Chris, did an interview where he stated he feels the WWE should induct Chris Benoit into the Hall of Fame - despite killing his wife and seven year old son. For the sake of being different - I decide to make the case for why, rather than Chris - the WWE should induct Nancy. Like what you're seeing? Is it my bed?
Or is it my coffin?
Sometimes for Dreams
And others for Death
Both of the Girl and the Woman
To be Happy
You call Me Lunatic
Or You can call Me Immature
But You gotta love Me for
What remained pure
Both of the Girl and the Woman
To be Happy
You got to explain to me
These things puzzle me so much
How can sex be used for
Both Love and for Destruction
Both of the Girl and the Woman
