Deborah (Hebrew: דְּבוֹרָה, Modern Dvora, Tiberian Dəḇôrā ; "Bee") was a prophet of the God of the Israelites, the fourth Judge of pre-monarchic Israel, counselor, warrior, and the wife of Lapidoth according to the Book of Judges chapters 4 and 5. The only female judge mentioned in the Bible, Deborah led a successful counterattack against the forces of Jabin king of Canaan and his military commander Sisera; the narrative is recounted in chapter 4.
Judges chapter 5 gives the same story in poetic form. This passage, often called The Song of Deborah, may date to as early as the 12th century BC and is perhaps the earliest sample of Hebrew poetry. It is also significant because it is one of the oldest passages that portrays fighting women, the account being that of Jael, the wife of Heber, a Kenite tent maker. Jael killed Sisera by driving a tent peg through his temple as he slept. Both Deborah and Jael are portrayed as strong independent women. The poem may have been included in the Book of the Wars of the Lord mentioned in Numbers 21:14.
Bruce Lee (Chinese: 李小龍; born Lee Jun-fan, Chinese: 李振藩; November 27, 1940 – July 20, 1973) was a Hong Kong American martial artist, action film actor, martial arts instructor, philosopher, filmmaker, and the founder of Jeet Kune Do. Lee was the son of Cantonese opera star Lee Hoi-Chuen. He is widely considered by commentators, critics, media and other martial artists to be one of the most influential martial artists of all time, and a pop culture icon of the 20th century. He is often credited with helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films.
Lee was born in Chinatown, San Francisco on November 27, 1940 to parents from Hong Kong and was raised in Kowloon with his family until his late teens. He was introduced to the film industry by his father and appeared in several films as a child actor. Lee moved to the United States at the age of 18 to receive his higher education, at the University of Washington, at Seattle and it was during this time that he began teaching martial arts. His Hong Kong and Hollywood-produced films elevated the traditional Hong Kong martial arts film to a new level of popularity and acclaim, sparking a surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West in the 1970s. The direction and tone of his films changed and influenced martial arts and martial arts films in the United States, Hong Kong and the rest of the world.

With a mole in their midst, Horatio and Calleigh head a team of elite Crime Scene Investigators as they enter their most challenging season yet. Under the roof of a state-of-the-art redesigned crime lab, the dynamic duo investigate a series of crimes including a night-club murder, the death of a pool boy, a cold case rape, and a murder with a double-jeopardy clause, all whilst under the scrutiny of an anonymous mole, and facing a series of cases that threaten the team. With Alexx accused of murdering a child molester, Horatio accused of murdering an innocent woman, Wolfe facing the loss of his eye, and Mac Taylor joining the team when a prisoner transfer goes awry, it's ultimately Delko that faces the greatest loss, when his sister is gunned down by the Mala Noche gang in an attack that will begin a narrative that will recur throughout the next several seasons.

Rapist and Pedophile Debra Jeans Beasley or Debra LaFave NEVER served ANY prison time because she was too pretty for prison. Debra Lafave, now Debra Jeans Beasley, born in 1980, RAPED one of her underaged students while she was a teacher at Angelo L. Greco Middle School in Temple Terrace, Florida. Instead of serving any time in prison, she was only sentenced to years of probation. Her defense lawyer argued that she was too pretty for prison, and the judge agreed! This is a nonsense! Pretty young women can commit a crime and get probation, while a man, even a hot looking man will surely be sentenced to prison time. This sexism, double standard and discrimination HAS TO STOP. This woman should be sent to prison no matter what!

During trying economic times, Deborah lands a job interview. Will she be able to sell herself and nail the interview, or will she fuck it up super hard?
I made this film in 2008-2009 after working in Montpellier with 6M1L. A version of the text is available at Everybody's.com. It's specifically a document of that 6 month working period during which I was touring with Deborah Hay and Zoo, teaching at Exerce, and conducting interviews and developing personal performance practices with the 16 participants of 6M1L. Since then, the drawing practice has become almost daily, but I no longer jump rope.
"Ever had a job interview that made you decide you didn't want the job?" This is a short piece I wrote that I used to use for cold readings during auditions. Ultimately, after several fun auditions I decided to finally make it with the support of several friends, dedicated actors and a great mentor.
