New York City's comptroller Scott Stringer told the New York Daily News that his office had no record of Donald Trump's supposed $10,000 donation to two prominent 9/11 charities. In October 2001, Trump claimed on the Howard Stern show that he donated that money to the Twin Towers Fund.

There was tragedy in Brooklyn on Thursday morning, when a building's faulty elevator resulted in the death of a six-week-old baby girl. The baby's mother accidentally pushed her stroller into an empty elevator shaft, and the elevator was stuck eight floors below.
