Life Left to Go received highly favorable reviews from critics. Tom Spinelli of Melodic.net, who gave the album 4.5 stars out of 5, declared that "if you are looking for the modern rock album of the year, this may be a top contender in your collection", as "SatefySuit releases their masterful, epic debut Life Left To Go with enormous melodic power".Alternative Addiction described Life Left to Go as "easily the best debut album so far in 2008", praising both frontman Doug Brown as "an impressive vocalist...[who] absolutely gets what it takes to make a great song--good melody and good lyrics", and Dave Garofolo, whose guitar work he called "original and unorthodox...[He is] what makes SafetySuit unique".Sputnikmusic notes that "it’s hard to point out the best songs because nothing in here is disappointing", and that SafetySuit "really seem[s] to have a bright future in the music industry". However, they do criticize the band for the narrow topical range in their lyrics, saying that "my only problem resides on the lyrical part, they’re all about love songs and relationship issues."
Annie is a 1999 American made-for-television musical-comedy-drama film from The Wonderful World of Disney, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Columbia Pictures. It stars Kathy Bates, Victor Garber, Alan Cumming, Audra McDonald, Kristin Chenoweth, and introducing Alicia Morton as the titular character. It is based on the 1982 film and the 1977 Broadway musical of the same name, as well as the 1924 Little Orphan Annie comic strip by Harold Gray. This is Disney's and Columbia's first collaboration since Columbia distributed some of Disney's short animated films in the 1930s.
It aired on ABC on November 7, 1999 and was released January 25, 2000 on VHS and DVD. This version earned two Emmy Awards and a 1999 George Foster Peabody Award.
Eleven-year-old orphan Annie was left at a girls' orphanage when she was an infant. With her was half a heart-shaped locket with a key hole, and a note from her parents saying they'd come back for her. The orphanage is run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan, who starves the orphans and makes them suffer. Tired of waiting for her parents, Annie tries to escape to find them, but is caught by Miss Hannigan. When Miss Hannigan gets distracted, Annie hides in the dirty laundry bin and she finally succeeds in running away. While out on her own, Annie befriends a dog, whom she names Sandy. But a policeman catches her and returns her to the orphanage. When billionaire Oliver Warbucks decides to take in an orphan for Christmas, his secretary, Grace Farrell, chooses Annie. She is brought to his wealthy estate and bathes in a grand life.
Floorfillers is a dance album compilation brand by All Around The World Records (in association with UMTV) that has evolved from a range of separate compilations that AATW used to compile for a number of Northern radio stations in Emap's Big City Hits network. Even though these albums would feature many of the same tracks (by acts such as Porn Kings and N-Trance), each one would be tailored for the local market and would be branded under the station name (such as Radio City 96.7, Key 103 or Red Rose Rock FM) and in association with the region's premiere discotheque.
The first album Floorfillers - 40 massive hits from the clubs was released in March, 2004. The CD went to number 1 on the official UK Album Chart. The second, Floorfillers 2 followed in late September the same year and peaked at number 3. Two more - Floorfillers 3 and Floorfillers 4, followed in 2005. Floorfillers - Club Classics was released in 2006, Floorfillers Anthems in 2007, Floorfillers 08 in October 2008, and most recently Floorfillers 2010 released on November 30, 2009.
