La presidenta de Proexport, María Claudia Lacouture durante la presentación de la nueva aplicación de turismo en el marco de Colombia Travel Mart.
La presidenta de Proexport Colombia, María Claudia Lacouture, presentó este jueves la nueva aplicación de turismo que la entidad desarrolló para teléfonos inteligentes y que permitirá al visitante extranjero conocer la oferta nacional y sacar el mayor provecho de las experiencias únicas que vivirá durante un recorrido por el país.
La aplicación gratuita, que se encuentra disponible en el App Store de Apple y en versión beta en Google Play para teléfonos Android, contiene información detallada de 17 destinos turísticos nacionales en español e inglés.
Lacouture, quien lideró el proceso de creación de la aplicación, indicó que ésta provee datos acerca de 26 productos (naturaleza, aventura, bienestar, cultura, sol y playa) y subproductos turísticos (avistamiento de aves, termalismo, congresos, compras, entre otros), de los que es posible disfrutar en varias regiones colombianas y los cuales, son promovidos en una treintena de países en el mundo.
Con esta guía móvil de turismo queremos acercar a Colombia a los turistas modernos, quienes acuden cada vez más a las nuevas tecnologías para planear sus viajes y compartir sus vivencias, lo que las hace en buena medida responsables del crecimiento en la demanda de productos turísticos en el mundo", dijo la Presidenta de Proexport.
De acuerdo con un estudio del portal turístico Trip Advisor, el 60 por ciento de los usuarios de teléfonos inteligentes han descargado, en alguna oportunidad, aplicaciones de viaje. Dentro de ese grupo, el 45 por ciento las usó para planear su próxima travesía por el mundo.
La aplicación, que será actualizada de manera constante, da acceso a un directorio de aproximadamente 2.100 prestadores de servicios turísticos, restaurantes y hoteles, lo que facilita a los usuarios organizar con anticipación los itinerarios que seguirán durante su estancia en el país.
Desde cualquier parte del mundo, los extranjeros pueden hacer uso del servicio de geo referenciación con el que cuenta la aplicación Colombia.Travel y la cual, pone al alcance de los visitantes más de 350 atractivos turísticos en todo el territorio nacional. También, tiene un calendario con las principales ferias y fiestas que se celebran en esta nación.
Cada uno de estos apartados está acompañado por un importante componente fotográfico, que hace más real la experiencia para los navegantes. Hasta la fecha más de 6.000 personas han descargado la aplicación y continúan sacando provecho de su información, sin necesidad de estar conectados a Internet.
El desarrollo de esta herramienta hace parte de una estrategia digital diseñada por Proexport para hacer que Colombia y su oferta turística hagan presencia en aquellos espacios donde los viajeros buscan y eligen el país que será el escenario para sus próximas vacaciones o eventos empresariales.

Dedo
Dedo is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Jimma Zone, Dedo is bordered on the south by the Gojeb River which separates it from the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the west by Gera, on the north by Kersa, and on the east by Omo Nada. The major town in Dedo is Sheki.
Overview
The altitude of this woreda ranges from 880 to 2400 meters above sea level. Major peaks include Haro Gebis, Walla, and Derar Korma. Perennial rivers include the Unat, Kawa, Waro and Offele. A survey of the land in this woreda shows that 63.1% is arable or cultivable (38.4% was under annual crops), 13.6% pasture, 9.3% forest, and the remaining 14% is considered swampy, degraded or otherwise unusable. Teff, corn and vegetables are important cash crops.Coffee is also an important cash crop for this woreda; over 50 square kilometers are planted with this crop.
Industry in the woreda includes 35 grain mills. Iron, coal and oil shale deposits are known in Dedo, but have yet to be developed. There were 53 Farmers Associations with 29,781 members and 10 Farmers Service Cooperatives with 18,429 members. Dedo has 34 kilometers of dry-weather and 70 of all-weather road, for an average road density of 66.2 kilometers per 1000 square kilometers. (The Oromia Regional government has stated that a 34 kilometer road linking Dedo with Mole and Boneya is under construction.) About 73% of the urban and 5.7% of the rural population has access to drinking water.

La presidenta de Proexport Colombia, María Claudia Lacouture, presentó este jueves la nueva aplicación de turismo que la entidad desarrolló para teléfonos inteligentes y que permitirá al visitante extranjero conocer la oferta nacional y sacar el mayor provecho de las experiencias únicas que vivirá durante un recorrido por el país.
La aplicación gratuita, que se encuentra disponible en el App Store de Apple y en versión beta en Google Play para teléfonos Android, contiene información detallada de 17 destinos turísticos nacionales en español e inglés.
Lacouture, quien lideró el proceso de creación de la aplicación, indicó que ésta provee datos acerca de 26 productos (naturaleza, aventura, bienestar, cultura, sol y playa) y subproductos turísticos (avistamiento de aves, termalismo, congresos, compras, entre otros), de los que es posible disfrutar en varias regiones colombianas y los cuales, son promovidos en una treintena de países en el mundo.
Con esta guía móvil de turismo queremos acercar a Colombia a los turistas modernos, quienes acuden cada vez más a las nuevas tecnologías para planear sus viajes y compartir sus vivencias, lo que las hace en buena medida responsables del crecimiento en la demanda de productos turísticos en el mundo", dijo la Presidenta de Proexport.
De acuerdo con un estudio del portal turístico Trip Advisor, el 60 por ciento de los usuarios de teléfonos inteligentes han descargado, en alguna oportunidad, aplicaciones de viaje. Dentro de ese grupo, el 45 por ciento las usó para planear su próxima travesía por el mundo.
La aplicación, que será actualizada de manera constante, da acceso a un directorio de aproximadamente 2.100 prestadores de servicios turísticos, restaurantes y hoteles, lo que facilita a los usuarios organizar con anticipación los itinerarios que seguirán durante su estancia en el país.
Desde cualquier parte del mundo, los extranjeros pueden hacer uso del servicio de geo referenciación con el que cuenta la aplicación Colombia.Travel y la cual, pone al alcance de los visitantes más de 350 atractivos turísticos en todo el territorio nacional. También, tiene un calendario con las principales ferias y fiestas que se celebran en esta nación.
Cada uno de estos apartados está acompañado por un importante componente fotográfico, que hace más real la experiencia para los navegantes. Hasta la fecha más de 6.000 personas han descargado la aplicación y continúan sacando provecho de su información, sin necesidad de estar conectados a Internet.
El desarrollo de esta herramienta hace parte de una estrategia digital diseñada por Proexport para hacer que Colombia y su oferta turística hagan presencia en aquellos espacios donde los viajeros buscan y eligen el país que será el escenario para sus próximas vacaciones o eventos empresariales.
