How To Grow Your Facebook Group From 0 To 1000 In 30 Days

One Building a killer Facebook group that people actually want to be in, takes time. It takes your time and attention. Of course you can ‘want’ to create a great Facebook group but if you don’t actually take action and devote time to build and engage in it, why would others want to engage in it. Number #1 Be a leader and step up, give time and attention to building your group. It’s got to be scheduled to actually happen, so schedule time in your diary now where you can devote time every single day to building and engaging in your group. Two One of things that I wanted my group to have which would differentiate it from other groups is a ton of free resources. I devoted time and energy to create great resources that the group members would absolutely love and use. Take the time to differentiate your group so that your group is not just another Facebook group that gets lost in the online world of Facebook. Number #2 How will you differentiate your group? What will make your group stand out from other groups? Three A Facebook group is called a ‘group’, but I like to think of it as a ‘community’. I like to make the people in my community feel significant, as if they were my family. They may not be related by blood, but these people want to be in my life, in my world and in my group. I focus my effort on loving, encouraging and supporting my community as if the people in my group were a part of my family. Number #3 Create a group where you actually care and connect with people. Don’t treat your group as a place to sell, treat it as a place to learn and connect. Four Get people involved. The quickest way (that I found) which got group members talking and engaging was to get them involved. To do this you must give them a reason to get involved. For me, I started a challenge at the beginning when I first started my group. I thought long and hard about what my group wanted and created a challenge to help them get closer to their goals. I also shared the challenge in other groups and offered people the opportunity to join in on the challenge by joining my group. Number #4 Create a challenge that serves people and share this in other groups. Five I spoke to people about the group and inited people to join the group daily. Number #5 Set a goal for how many people you want to join your group each week and make it happen every - single - day. Six I engaged in my group twice daily and asked members questions to get people talking. I gave each question thought and made sure my questions were asked in a clear and concise manner. Imagine if people were paying to be in your group, how much more attention, engagement and encouragement you would give them. Start acting as if they are paying and start providing more value by engaging in your group daily. Number #6 Engage twice daily in your group by asking questions members can answer (and like answering). Seven I posted quotes daily with captions that also would get people talking. I would help members out and offer my support in the comments of the posts. Imagine that you are at a networking event, if you are smart you will be have business cards that you will hand out which get people talking. Why not have quote cards that you can also post in your group which get people talking. Number #7 Get people talking and show genuine concern for them. Eight I did not add a single member to the group. I allowed people to join the group with their own free will. This way I knew that each member is in the group because they want to be. It’s NOT OKAY to add people to your group. Number #8 Don’t add people to your group, let people join because they want to join. Nine I continually encourage and support every member in the group because I genuinely care about every single person. I have the perspective where my group is not just a group, but my community and a part of my family. I care for and nurture my group because these people care about me and each other and of course I care about them. Number #9 Care so much about your members that you treat them like family or good friends. Liked this article?
