The next stage of Chadstone Shopping Centre's $660-million redevelopment (coming soon: a hotel and a Legoland) will be unveiled this Thursday with two new dining areas.
The dining terrace features seven full service restaurants including Neil Perry's Burger Project, Fonda Mexican, Marae Izakaya and Woodstock Pizza; there is also a new food court area with 20-plus retailers, including Sauced Pasta Bar and a Royal Stacks.
A second Melbourne outlet for dumpling chain New Shanghai (also at Emporium) will be Australia's largest, with 200 seats and a VIP dining room available on request.

Melbourne's first outlet of Laduree, a luxury French tea room, is due by the end of the month; it will be Australia's third, following two in Sydney.
The tea room, featuring a marble bar for nine macaron lovers and table seating for 20, will sit at 12 metres high, boasting the best vantage point of Chadstone's new retail atrium.
