Mohammad Shahzad

Mohammad Shahzad (born 31 January 1988) is an Afghan cricketer who is a right-handed batsman who plays primarily as a wicketkeeper. Shahzad represents Afghanistan in international cricket. Known as a hard big hitter for the ball, Shahzad has the most number of Twenty20 International Player of the match awards by an affiliate member with 8 T20I Player of the match awards.

With 118 not out against Zimbabwe on 10 January 2016, Shahzad recorded the highest individual score from an Associate nation in T20Is and fourth highest of all time. He also entered the ICC's top 10 batsmen in T20I cricket in eighth place, following his performance.

Career

Shahzad played in the 2009 ICC World Cup Qualifiers, where Afghanistan gained ODI status. In August 2009, Shazad made his first-class debut against a Zimbabwe XI.

During Afghanistan's tour to the Netherlands in 2009, Shahzad made Afghan cricketing history by becoming the first Afghan to score a century in a One Day International match, scoring 110 runs as Afghanistan won the match by 6 wickets.

Sabbir Rahman

Sabbir Rahman (born November 22, 1991) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is from Rajshahi and besides national team he also plays for Rajshahi Division. Sabbir is a right-handed batsman and legbreak bowler. Sabbir Rahman was also captain of the Bangladesh Under 19's team.

International career

He made his One Day International debut for Bangladesh against Zimbabwe on 21 November 2014.

The 23-year-old right handed batsman youngster has proved his worth again in the recently completed series against India and has shown the potential of his contribution in the future of Bangladesh’s cricket. Coming into bat at number six, Sabbir has put up an impressive performance picking up 106 runs at the rate of 41, 22, and 43 in the three matches played against India. He has been incredible in the field also and the most notable performance was the difficult catch of Rohit Sharma that gave Bangladesh the first breakthrough in the second ODI.

He is among the youngsters in the Bangladesh team. As it stands, he has only played 17 one day internationals with 386 runs at an impressive average of 35 and a best of 53.

Muhammad

Muḥammad (Arabic: محمد‎; c. 570 CE – 8 June 632 CE), is the central figure of Islam and widely regarded as its founder. He is known to Muslims as the "Holy Prophet", almost all of whom consider him to be the last prophet sent by God to mankind to restore Islam, which they believe to be the unaltered original monotheistic faith of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. He united Arabia into a single Muslim polity and ensured that his teachings, practices, and the Quran, which Muslims believe was revealed to him by God, formed the basis of Islamic religious belief.

Born approximately in 570 CE in the Arabian city of Mecca, Muhammad was orphaned at an early age; he was raised under the care of his paternal uncle Abu Talib. After his childhood Muhammad primarily worked as a merchant. Occasionally, he would retreat to a cave named Hira in the mountains for several nights of seclusion and prayer; later, at age 40, he reported being visited by Gabriel in the cave and received his first revelation from God. Three years after this event Muhammad started preaching these revelations publicly, proclaiming that "God is One", that complete "surrender" (lit. islām) to him is the only way (dīn) acceptable to God, and that he was a prophet and messenger of God, similar to the other prophets in Islam.

Dale Steyn

Dale Willem Steyn (/ˈsteɪn/; born 27 June 1983) is a South African cricketer who plays in Tests, T20 Internationals and One Day International cricket for South Africa. Steyn plays domestic cricket in South Africa for Cape Cobras. He is a right-arm fast bowler, and bowls at speeds of around 145–150 km/h (his fastest being recorded at 156.2 km/h during the 2010 IPL, Bangalore Royal Challengers against Kolkata Knight Riders). His fastest ball in international cricket was clocked at 155.7 km/h (96.8 mph) against New Zealand, making him tied for 4th fastest active bowler with Lasith Malinga as of 3 January 2015. Steyn held the record for the fastest South African to reach 100 wickets in Test Match cricket, a feat he achieved on 2 March 2008.

Steyn is widely regarded as the best fast bowler of his generation. He currently has the best bowling strike rate of all time in Test match cricket (amongst bowlers who have bowled a minimum of 10,000 deliveries). Dale Steyn achieved a tally of 78 wickets at an average of 16.24 in Season 2007/08 and was subsequently rewarded with the prestigious ICC 2008 Test Cricketer of the Year Award. He was named one of the Wisden cricketers of the year in 2013. He was named Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for the year 2013 in 2014 Wisden Cricketers' Almanack.

Rangpur Riders

The Rangpur Riders is a franchise cricket team based in Rangpur, Bangladesh. The team competes in Bangladeshi Twenty20 cricket competition Bangladesh Premier League. Rangpur Stadium serves as the home ground for the team. The team's official colors are Dark Blue and Light Blue. The team was founded in 2012 and made its first appearance during the second season of the 2013 Bangladesh Premier League as the seventh team in the tournament.

The Riders are coached by Former Bangladesh National Cricket Team coach Shane Jurgensen, and lead by Shakib Al Hasan, who is also the icon player of the team.

History

In 2012, The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) created the cricket tournament Bangladesh Premier League based on the Twenty20 form of the game. For the inaugural tournament held in February of the same year, a list of 6 teams who will be participating in the inaugural tournament was finalized. In December 2012, Rangpur Riders was bought by I-Sports for a price of US$3.10 million..
