Future

The future is what will happen in the time after the present. Its arrival is considered inevitable due to the existence of time and the laws of physics. Due to the apparent nature of reality and the unavoidability of the future, everything that currently exists and will exist can be categorized as either permanent, meaning that it will exist forever, or temporary, meaning that it will end. The future and the concept of eternity have been major subjects of philosophy, religion, and science, and defining them non-controversially has consistently eluded the greatest of minds. In the Occidental view, which uses a linear conception of time, the future is the portion of the projected time line that is anticipated to occur. In special relativity, the future is considered absolute future, or the future light cone.

In the philosophy of time, presentism is the belief that only the present exists and the future and the past are unreal. Religions consider the future when they address issues such as karma, life after death, and eschatologies that study what the end of time and the end of the world will be. Religious figures such as prophets and diviners have claimed to see into the future. Organized efforts to predict or forecast the future may have derived from observations by early man of heavenly objects.

Tied Up

"Tied Up" was one of two new songs recorded for the 1982 double platinum greatest hits package titled Olivia's Greatest Hits Vol. 2. The song was the second single released from the album following "Heart Attack" (US #3), the other new track recorded for the package. "Tied Up" did not do quite as well as "Heart Attack", reaching #38 on the US Billboard singles chart. The song also features Tom Scott on horns who also was the opening act for Olivia's 1982 "Physical" World Tour.

The song was recorded by Stevie Nicks for her album Mirror, Mirror but the album was pulled and has never been released.

Deja Trimble (born April 8, 1991), better known by her stage name Dej Loaf (stylized as DeJ Loaf), is an American rapper and singer from Detroit, Michigan. She began her music career in 2011, and released her debut mixtape Just Do It in 2012. In October 2014, she released her second mixtape, Sell Sole.

DeJ Loaf rose to greater popularity in 2014 with her single "Try Me", which initially attained viral internet popularity and has peaked at number 45 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was certified Gold on April 3, 2015 in the US.

She was chosen as part of the XXL Magazine 2015 Freshman Class.

Early life

Deja Trimble was born on April 8, 1991 in Detroit, Michigan and was raised on the Eastside of the city. Growing up, she often listened to music with her parents and grandmother, ranging "from 2Pac to Rakim to Miles Davis." Her father was killed when she was four years old. A self-described "good kid and a decent student" who mostly kept to herself, she began writing her own original music as early as nine years old. She graduated from Southeastern High School in Detroit, MI in 2009, played basketball up to the junior varsity level, and later attended Saginaw Valley State University to study nursing for three semesters before deciding to focus on a full-time music career.

Sleaford Mods

Sleaford Mods are an English music duo based in Nottingham, composed of vocalist Jason Williamson and musician Andrew Robert Lindsay Fearn (since 2012). The duo have released several albums to critical acclaim.

History

Williamson (born 1970 in Grantham, Lincolnshire) grew up in Grantham. Inspired by the mod subculture and musical sources like the Wu-Tang Clan, he spent several years pursuing music unsuccessfully both with various groups and as a solo singer-songwriter. He had also worked as a session musician with local artists as well as Spiritualized and Bent. Fearn (born 1971 in Burton upon Trent) grew up on a farm in Saxilby, Lincolnshire.

Williamson first met Fearn in 2009 after hearing him DJ at a small Nottingham club called the Chameleon, where he was playing his own rough edged and minimal grime inspired tracks. Sleaford Mods began when Williamson's friend suggested that he combine his vocals with a music sample from a Roni Size album. Originally the project was called "That's Shit, Try Harder", later changed in reference to Sleaford, a town in Lincolnshire not far from Grantham.

Julian Perretta

Julian Remo Perretta (born 13 January 1991) is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, best known for his song, "Wonder Why", which was the first single released from his 2011 debut album Stitch Me Up. The single charted across Europe and gained fame internationally.

Personal life

Perretta was born in London to Italian parents, having one sister Perretta left school at 15 to pursue a career in music. Playing regular live sets at The Water Rats in Kings Cross and other pubs and bars around central London he developed a fan base. Perretta worked during this time at Starbucks Coffee and The Queens head pub in North London.

In May 2008, he joined Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse on a European tour, singing the Smiths' song, "Stop Me". In November 2009, Beyoncé invited Perretta to be special guest on her "I Am" Arena Tour.

Music career

Shortly after leaving school, he met the members of the band Jamiroquai and began working on demos. Jamiroquai went on to produce Perretta's debut LP and Universal Music Group signed him in 2010. Although a British artist, Perretta found greater success in continental Europe, notably France, Belgium, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Germany. In January 2010, the debut single "Wonder Why" received its first play on national radio. BBC Radio 1 presented the single by host Annie Mac to a positive response by the public. In October 2010 the singer performed on French television shows Le Grand Journal and Taratata.
