How to Print Your Own Art Prints at Home

Hey Youtube!! I made this video to show how I make my prints from start to finish. I wish I could have shown more detail when I edited the image in photoshop, for some reason my screen capture didn't show any of the editing windows. I mostly used Levels and Hue/Saturation and the tools I used were just the crop, paint brush, healing brush, and the transform tool. Here are the products I used: Printer/Scanner: Canon Pixma mg6820 - I also use a Epson Stylus Photo 1400 for my large format prints Wacom Tablet: Intuos 3 Large Adobe Photoshop CS6 Paper: I use Moab Lasal Matte paper for the BEST quality, but there are some more affordable paper brands like the Office Depot Premium Matte Photo paper and Epson paper as well. MY ART PRINTS! Printing Artwork & Artwork Insights.

Hey guys! Here is a Vlog of my Art Print process. I Filmed this over two days to give you an insight of how I go about things when I ship out my art print orders. It was a bit of a race against time as I had to prep and pack everything and get it all posted out to my customers in the morning before I flew back to Spain on the 2nd day. I work best under pressure though ;) This video also gives me a chance to reflect on certain pieces and hopefully answer a few questions you may have about how and why I do what I do. Why I make BIG ASS prints

A lot of people and businesses have moved away from real photographic prints to LCD TVs that hang on the wall to show images. This is sad, images were mean to be printed big and enjoyed opposed to on a LCD screen where your vertical images are given no justice. I feel that big prints show a quality to the work that a photographer is doing. They make an impression, a lasting impression that says that your images are strong enough to be printed this large. I think printing large is a testament to understanding photography and how to process your images. Many people forget how important processing is, photography does not stop when you press the button, it stops after you add your style to the image. Your editing is just as important and sometimes more important than getting your settings right. If you have never printed large I think you should give it a shot. There are a ton of places that print inexpensive poster prints and as you know AdroamaPix.com is one of those. But like everything else just because its less expensive does not mean its the right fit for you. I personally get my big ass prints done at TaylorPhoto.com and they are dam expensive. The prints I am talking about are the ones larger than 20x30 which most online places do not offer. The moral of the story is don't forget about printing your work. Your images don't want to be relegated to your iphone, ipad, computer or tv screen in an office. They want to be printed big for the world to see that you create amazing quality work. Hey Youtube!! I made this video to show how I make my prints from start to finish. I wish I could have shown more detail when I edited the image in photoshop, for some reason my screen capture didn't show any of the editing windows. I mostly used Levels and Hue/Saturation and the tools I used were just the crop, paint brush, healing brush, and the transform tool. Here are the products I used: Printer/Scanner: Canon Pixma mg6820 - I also use a Epson Stylus Photo 1400 for my large format prints Wacom Tablet: Intuos 3 Large Adobe Photoshop CS6 Paper: I use Moab Lasal Matte paper for the BEST quality, but there are some more affordable paper brands like the Office Depot Premium Matte Photo paper and Epson paper as well. It was a bit of a race against time as I had to prep and pack everything and get it all posted out to my customers in the morning before I flew back to Spain on the 2nd day. I work best under pressure though ;) This video also gives me a chance to reflect on certain pieces and hopefully answer a few questions you may have about how and why I do what I do. Many people forget how important processing is, photography does not stop when you press the button, it stops after you add your style to the image. Your editing is just as important and sometimes more important than getting your settings right. If you have never printed large I think you should give it a shot. There are a ton of places that print inexpensive poster prints and as you know AdroamaPix.com is one of those. But like everything else just because its less expensive does not mean its the right fit for you. I personally get my big ass prints done at TaylorPhoto.com and they are dam expensive. The prints I am talking about are the ones larger than 20x30 which most online places do not offer. The moral of the story is don't forget about printing your work. Your images don't want to be relegated to your iphone, ipad, computer or tv screen in an office. They want to be printed big for the world to see that you create amazing quality work. Hey Youtube!! I made this video to show how I make my prints from start to finish. I wish I could have shown more detail when I edited the image in photoshop, for some reason my screen capture didn't show any of the editing windows. I mostly used Levels and Hue/Saturation and the tools I used were just the crop, paint brush, healing brush, and the transform tool. Here are the products I used: Printer/Scanner: Canon Pixma mg6820 - I also use a Epson Stylus Photo 1400 for my large format prints Wacom Tablet: Intuos 3 Large Adobe Photoshop CS6 Paper: I use Moab Lasal Matte paper for the BEST quality, but there are some more affordable paper brands like the Office Depot Premium Matte Photo paper and Epson paper as well. Hey guys! Here is a Vlog of my Art Print process. I Filmed this over two days to give you an insight of how I go about things when I ship out my art print orders. It was a bit of a race against time as I had to prep and pack everything and get it all posted out to my customers in the morning before I flew back to Spain on the 2nd day. I work best under pressure though ;) This video also gives me a chance to reflect on certain pieces and hopefully answer a few questions you may have about how and why I do what I do. A lot of people and businesses have moved away from real photographic prints to LCD TVs that hang on the wall to show images. This is sad, images were mean to be printed big and enjoyed opposed to on a LCD screen where your vertical images are given no justice. I feel that big prints show a quality to the work that a photographer is doing. They make an impression, a lasting impression that says that your images are strong enough to be printed this large. I think printing large is a testament to understanding photography and how to process your images. Many people forget how important processing is, photography does not stop when you press the button, it stops after you add your style to the image. Your editing is just as important and sometimes more important than getting your settings right. If you have never printed large I think you should give it a shot. There are a ton of places that print inexpensive poster prints and as you know AdroamaPix.com is one of those. But like everything else just because its less expensive does not mean its the right fit for you. I personally get my big ass prints done at TaylorPhoto.com and they are dam expensive. The prints I am talking about are the ones larger than 20x30 which most online places do not offer. The moral of the story is don't forget about printing your work. Your images don't want to be relegated to your iphone, ipad, computer or tv screen in an office. They want to be printed big for the world to see that you create amazing quality work. Salvador Dali 1933 1934 1935 1933 The first issue of the Paris-based magazine Minotaure published the prologue to the book that remained unpublished until 1963 Interprétation paranoïaque-critique de l'image obsédante "L'Angélus" de Millet (Paranoiac-critical Interpretation of the Obsessive Image The Angelus by Millet). He took part in a collective surrealist exhibition at Galerie Pierre Colle, where he also presented his third individual exhibition. First individual exhibition at the Julien Levy Gallery in New York. 1934 Enters into civil matrimony with Gala (née Elena Ivanovna Diakonova). He exhibited at the Exposition du Cinquantenaire in the Salon des Indépendants of the Grand Palais in Paris, without taking account of the opinion of the rest of the surrealists, who had decided not to participate in it, which nearly led to Dalí being expelled from the group led by Breton. He staged his first individual exhibition at the Zwemmer Gallery in London. Along with Gala he boarded vessel Champlain to make his first journey to the United States. Two individual Dalí exhibitions were held, one at the Julien Levy Gallery and another at the Avery Memorial of the Wadsworth Atheneum, in Hartford (Connecticut). 1935 The couple returned to Europe on board the Normandie.
