Will this be the world's fastest cornering supercar?
That's the claim from Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) in unveiling its first ever road car - the SCG003S.
The car is the brainchild of American James Glickenhaus, a movie producer who came to automotive fame when he had his Ferrari Enzo restyled into the P4/5 by Pininfarina. Since then he has created a racing version of the retro-inspired Ferrari, the P4/5 Competizione, and since 2015 has raced his own car - the SCG003C.
The SCG003C is a racing machine based around a carbon fibre monocoque and powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 Honda engine. SCG has used the racing car to compete in the annual Nurburgring 24-hour sports car race, using the racing car to develop the road version.
The road car uses the same carbon fibre centrepiece but is powered by a 560kW 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine; most likely from BMW but the company hasn't revealed its source.
SCG claims that, thanks to the car's lineage as a racer, it will be the fastest cornering car in the world, capable of produce 2G of downforce. Top speed is a claimed 350km/h and the 0-100km/h sprint will reportedly be managed in "less than three seconds."
"It's the culmination of a long-held dream to finally see our amazing race car born again as a road car, using all the know-how we have taken from competing in international races and putting it onto the road," explained Glickenhaus. "This will be a collectable car like no other, capturing the spirit of the road racers that have defined automotive history during the heyday of grand touring."
The SCG003S will be revealed to the public at the 2017 Geneva motor show. Production is due to begin in the middle of the year in limited numbers.

2G of downforce, wow. Is that with a full tank of fuel or empty. Maybe they are the wrong units!
