Los asistentes a un concierto de un coro infantil en la ciudad alemana de Wuppertal se quedaron estupefactos tras presenciar una actuación que tardarán tiempo en olvidar. El motivo de su asombro no fue únicamente la gran calidad de las voces de los niños, sino algo inesperado que ocurrió durante la representación...
Todo sucedió cuando el coro, formado por un nutrido grupo de jóvenes, empezó a entonar la canción 'Mad World' de Tears for fears. De repente, uno de los niños se separó del grupo y salió del escenario. A los pocos segundos se le unió otro compañero, que dejó de cantar y se marchó con paso tranquilo.
La situación se repitió una y otra vez, hasta que sólo uno de los integrantes del coro se quedó de pie en el escenario. A pesar de los inexplicables abandonos, en ningún momento se detuvo la canción y el coro consiguió llegar hasta el final de la melodía. Fue entonces cuando se desveló lo que estaba ocurriendo...
El niño que se quedó solo frente a la incrédula audiencia aportó un dato muy revelador: "cada 3 segundos el mundo pierde a un niño por causas que podrían haberse evitado". En realidad, la 'espantada' se trataba de una original acción de concienciación de la ONG International Children's Fund con motivo del Día Universal del Niño.
Esta performance ha permitido a la organización recaudar fondos para sus acciones solidarias en distintos países del mundo, gracias a donaciones realizadas por usuarios que decidieron colaborar tras ver el vídeo de la actuación del coro. A esta ayuda hay que sumarle los ingresos que se generen a través de iTunes, donde se puede comprar la canción interpretada en la emotiva acción.
Una vez más, las ONG han demostrado que saben cómo aprovechar los medios no convencionales para difundir sus mensajes solidarios y remover conciencias con sorprendente efectividad.

Los asistentes a un concierto de un coro infantil en la ciudad alemana de Wuppertal se quedaron estupefactos tras presenciar una actuación que tardarán tiempo en olvidar. El motivo de su asombro no fue únicamente la gran calidad de las voces de los niños, sino algo inesperado que ocurrió durante la representación...
Todo sucedió cuando el coro, formado por un nutrido grupo de jóvenes, empezó a entonar la canción 'Mad World' de Tears for fears. De repente, uno de los niños se separó del grupo y salió del escenario. A los pocos segundos se le unió otro compañero, que dejó de cantar y se marchó con paso tranquilo.
La situación se repitió una y otra vez, hasta que sólo uno de los integrantes del coro se quedó de pie en el escenario. A pesar de los inexplicables abandonos, en ningún momento se detuvo la canción y el coro consiguió llegar hasta el final de la melodía. Fue entonces cuando se desveló lo que estaba ocurriendo...
El niño que se quedó solo frente a la incrédula audiencia aportó un dato muy revelador: "cada 3 segundos el mundo pierde a un niño por causas que podrían haberse evitado". En realidad, la 'espantada' se trataba de una original acción de concienciación de la ONG International Children's Fund con motivo del Día Universal del Niño.
Esta performance ha permitido a la organización recaudar fondos para sus acciones solidarias en distintos países del mundo, gracias a donaciones realizadas por usuarios que decidieron colaborar tras ver el vídeo de la actuación del coro. A esta ayuda hay que sumarle los ingresos que se generen a través de iTunes, donde se puede comprar la canción interpretada en la emotiva acción.
Una vez más, las ONG han demostrado que saben cómo aprovechar los medios no convencionales para difundir sus mensajes solidarios y remover conciencias con sorprendente efectividad.
