The Messiah will die (E) *Therefore, only Jesus can be the "suffering servant" Messiah* (A) Isaiah 52:13-53:12 (You couldn't possibly describe Jesus any better than this) (B) Daniel 9:26, Haggai 2:9 (C) Malachi 3:1, Haggai 2:9 (D) Genesis 49:10, Ezra 1:5-8 (shows that the lineage was intact at that time) (E) Daniel 9:26, Isaiah 53:8-12 *Alternative option:* You can also count the "weeks" (7 year weeks, 483 years) of Daniel 9:25 which start at Nehemiah 2:1-8 *Isaiah 52:13-53:12* Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
