I've had the HTC Vive for a bit, toying with it here and there, but finally made the plunge the other night to actually broadcast myself flailing around my living room. It's really fun, but definitely gets sweaty after a vigorous session. Next time, the audio will be WAY better - and I still want to improve the camera tracking where I am. We've seen modern science continue to publish public stories of religious and spiritual significance. The size and scale of controlling information have increased radically in both directions: More data in smaller spaces. Moore's Law gets more intense as it progresses. And now, experiments for bringing bodies back to life begin publicly under the authority of science. The impossible has now become possible. And it even has its own arm of political figures through Zoltan Istvan and the Transhumanist party. The church needs to wake up, and realize that what Jesus said would be the climate of His return is not only correct, but that we are in it! Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

The southeastern United States isn't known for its seismic activity, but the region does experience the odd earthquake.
A new study -- published in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth -- offers an explanation for the phenomenon.
Most earthquakes occur near plate boundaries and major fault lines. The southeastern corner of the United States lies in the middle of the North American Plate, far from the seismically active margins.
However, new analysis suggests the plate's interior continues to lose bits and pieces of its mantle. As fragments break off and sink toward Earth's interior, the mantle is left thinner and more brittle -- and more susceptible to the fault slipping that triggers earthquakes.

Data in computing (or data processing) are often represented by a combination of items organized in rows and multiple variables organized in columns. Raw data, i.e., unprocessed data, refers to a collection of numbers, characters and is a relative term; data processing commonly occurs by stages, and the "processed data" from one stage may be considered the "raw data" of the next. Field data refers to raw data collected in an uncontrolled in situ environment. Experimental data refers to data generated within the context of a scientific investigation by observation and recording.
The word data is the plural of datum, neuter past participle of the Latin dare, "to give", hence "something given". In discussions of problems in geometry, mathematics, engineering, and so on, the terms givens and data are used interchangeably. Such usage is the origin of data as a concept in computer science or data processing: data are numbers, words, images, etc., accepted as they stand.

A new study -- published in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth -- offers an explanation for the phenomenon.
Most earthquakes occur near plate boundaries and major fault lines. The southeastern corner of the United States lies in the middle of the North American Plate, far from the seismically active margins.
However, new analysis suggests the plate's interior continues to lose bits and pieces of its mantle. As fragments break off and sink toward Earth's interior, the mantle is left thinner and more brittle -- and more susceptible to the fault slipping that triggers earthquakes.
