Island (stylized as iSLAND) is the fifth studio album by American hip hop duo G-Side. It was released by Slow Motion Soundz on November 11, 2011.

Reception

Evan Rytlewski of The A.V. Club gave the album a grade of B+, saying: "There are hundreds of rappers dwelling on the same themes of hustle and determination as Yung Clova and ST 2 Lettaz, including some that do so with nimbler flows and sharper wordplay, but there are few that match the duo's personality and conviction." Tom Breihan of Stereogum said: "Production team Block Beattaz has made another zoned-out polyglot music tapestry for them, sampling stuff like Joy Orbison and Tame Impala but grounding it in classic Southern rap thump."

Thomas Perry (born 1947) is an American mystery and thriller novelist. He received a 1983 Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for Best First Novel.

Writings

Perry's work has covered a variety of fictional suspense starting with The Butcher's Boy, which received a 1983 Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for Best First Novel, followed by Metzger's Dog, Big Fish, Island, and Sleeping Dogs. He then launched the critically acclaimed Jane Whitefield series: Vanishing Act (chosen as one of the "100 Favorite Mysteries of the Century" by the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association), Dance for the Dead, Shadow Woman, The Face Changers, Blood Money, Runner, and Poison Flower. The New York Times selected Nightlife for its best seller selection. From this point, Perry has elected to develop a non-series list of mysteries with Death Benefits, Pursuit (which won a Gumshoe Award in 2002), Dead Aim, Night Life, Fidelity, and Strip. Nightmare (Atmosfear series)

Nightmare is a horror video board game released in 1991 by A Couple 'A Cowboys and J. W. Spear & Sons as part of the Atmosfear series.

The game is set in a place known as "The Other Side". This place has six Harbingers, each of whom has authority over a Province. To play the game, each player adopts the persona of one of the Harbingers: Gevaudan the werewolf; Hellin the poltergeist; Khufu the mummy; Baron Samedi the zombie; Anne de Chantraine the witch, and Elizabeth Bathory the vampire. The final character in the game is the Gatekeeper, whose job is to ensure that the other characters do not escape from The Other Side.

Gameplay

The game requires 3–6 players to attempt to collect keys while trying to beat the clock included on the video cassette. At random intervals, the game stops and The Gatekeeper appears to either taunt, reward, or penalize the players in a variety of ways. Prior to beginning the game, the players are required to write their "greatest fear" on individual slips of paper. The game is won by collecting six special keys before making it to the center of the game board where the player draws a 'fear'. If that player draws someone else's fear, the tape is stopped and that player is declared the winner. If no one is able to accomplish this within 60 minutes, The Gatekeeper is declared the winner.

Nightmare (French band)

Nightmare is a power metal band, native of Grenoble, France. The band was influenced by the New Wave of British Heavy Metal phenomenon developing in the UK in the 1980s and started their career playing classic heavy metal, that later changed to power metal with death and thrash influences.

Biography

Early career

Nightmare was formed in 1979 and became known when opened for Def Leppard at the Alpexpo of Grenoble in 1983, in front of an audience of more than 4000. They signed for the label Ebony Records, which published the album Waiting for the Twilight. The LP entered the charts in Japan and was distributed in Greece by Virgin Records. Nightmare replaced singer Christophe Houpert with Jean-Marie Boix to record their second album Power of the Universe. Shortly after, the band terminated its partnership with Ebony Records and the album was reissued in France by Dream Records. Their new label was soon subjected to financial difficulties, which delayed the release of an LP the band was working on. In addition, Jean-Marie Boix was forced to leave the band because of health problems. He was replaced by Scottish singer Tom Jackson (ex- Praying Mantis), hoping that his vocal qualities and his mastery of the English language could help the success of Nightmare on the other side of the Channel. This incarnation of Nightmare produced a demo with two songs and did a few shows in France and England, with moderate success. However, dissension between the musicians about the musical direction for the band, whose music was veering toward AOR, led to disbandment in 1987, closing for more than a decade the career of Nightmare.

Nightmare (Tuesday Knight song)

"Nightmare", also known as "(Running From This) Nightmare", is a song by American recording artist and actress Tuesday Knight. The song serves as the opening song for the fourth installment of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, in which Knight co-starred. Although not officially released as a single or included on the original soundtrack for the film, "Nightmare" has become a cult hit among horror fans and is one of Knight's most well-known and signature songs.

Background

In 1987, Tuesday Knight released her self-titled debut album. The following year, she was chosen to replace Patricia Arquette in the role of Kristen Parker in the film A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. Before production wrapped on The Dream Master, Knight met with director Renny Harlin and pitched the idea of writing a song for the film. She and her writing partner Michael Egizi recorded the song within two days, before playing the tape for Harlin in his car. Impressed, he handed the tape over to the music department without any further involvement from Knight. Unaware if the song would be used, she was surprised to find it serving as the film's introductory theme.

Data is a village in Hisar Tehsil of Hisar district in Haryana State of India. It is situated 36 km from Hisar city on the road to Narnaund which also leads to Jind. At Data there is another road that leads to Hisar Tehsil. It is 20 km from Hisar Tehsil and only 16 km from Barwala town (where the Rajiv Gandhi thermal plant is located).

The village has a population of 25,000, of which 12,000 are female.

West of Data is desert land and rest of the area around the village is fertile plain land, served by an irrigation canal. Data has twelve large ponds (Johad).

Data has both a girls and a boys secondary government school. The village has a total of ten schools with three government run, and seven otherwise run.

Data has an old Shiva temple and Akhara for sadhus (Hindu saints) as well as a village temple nearby, the Temple of Baba Lal Das where newly weds go for blessings before entering the village, on every shukla 15 many people from all over India come for blessings.
