"I.D. è un progetto che vede il dj/producer al centro dello scambio con il pubblico, e che nasce
dall'esigenza di decontestualizzare il dj dal suo ambito di lavoro abituale per riportarlo ad una possibilità di esprimersi in maniera più naturale.
L'affermazione in termini artistici viene data dal'impatto emotivo/musicale che si ha sul pubblico, e spesso per mantenere questo obbiettivo si tende a limitare le proprie pulsioni in funzione del risultato.
I.D. significa impronta digitale, intesa sia come segno vero e proprio lasciato con le mani (le dita sono lo strumento primo dei djs), sia secondo la definizione del digitale come di "tutto ciò che viene rappresentato con numeri o che opera manipolando numeri".
I.D. è anche l'acronimo inglese che sta per "identity document", documento di identità.
Perché il fine di I.D. è quello di lasciare un impronta delle propria identità compostiva al di fuori delle logiche che regolano il dancefloor.

The Tonight Show
The Tonight Show is an American late-night talk show broadcast from the Rockefeller Center in New York City and airing on NBC since 1954. It is the world's longest-running talk show, and the longest running, regularly scheduled entertainment program in the United States. It is the third-longest-running show on NBC, after only the news-and-talk shows Today and Meet the Press.
Over the course of more than 60 years, The Tonight Show has undergone only minor title changes. It aired under the name Tonight for several of its early years, eventually settling on The Tonight Show after the seating of long-time host Johnny Carson in 1962. In later decades, network programmers, advertisers, and the show's announcers would refer to the show by including the name of the host; for example, it is currently announced as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In 1957, the show briefly tried a more news-style format. It has otherwise remained a talk show throughout its run.
The Tonight Show began broadcasting in 1954. It has had six official hosts, beginning with Steve Allen (1954–57), followed by Jack Paar (1957–62), Johnny Carson (1962–92), Jay Leno (1992–2009, 2010–14), Conan O'Brien (2009–10), and Jimmy Fallon (2014–present). It has had several recurring guest hosts, a practice especially common during the Paar and Carson eras.

Jimmy Fallon
James Thomas "Jimmy" Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is an American comedian, television host, actor, singer, writer, and producer. He is known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and as the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and raised in Saugerties, New York. He grew up with an interest in comedy and music, moving to Los Angeles at 21 to pursue stand-up opportunities.
He was commissioned to join NBC's Saturday Night Live as a cast member in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Fallon remained on SNL for six years between 1998 and 2004, co-hosting the program's Weekend Update segment and becoming a celebrity in the process. He left the program for the film industry, starring in films such as Taxi (2004) and Fever Pitch (2005). Following his film career, Fallon returned to television as the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC in 2009, where he became well known for his emphasis on music and games. He transitioned from that program to become the sixth host of the long-running The Tonight Show in 2014.

Angels Sing
Angels Sing is a 2013 Christmas family drama film. An adaptation of Turk Pipkin's 1999 novel When Angels Sing, the film is directed by Tim McCanlies, and stars Harry Connick, Jr., Connie Britton, Chandler Canterbury, Fionnula Flanagan, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson.
Plot
The film stars Harry Connick, Jr. as the history professor Michael, who as a child loved Christmas, but after a tragic accident, his holiday spirit was crushed. As a grown up, he still can't find the joy of Christmas. But as his son faces a tragedy, he needs to find his holiday spirit again. He gets a push in the right direction when he meets a man named Nick (Willie Nelson), who gives him a gift that helps him find the joy of Christmas again.

Manifesto I.D. "I.D. è un progetto che vede il dj/producer al centro dello scambio con il pubblico, e che nasce dall'esigenza di decontestualizzare il dj dal suo ambito di lavoro abituale per riportarlo ad una possibilità di esprimersi in maniera più naturale. L'affermazione in termini artistici viene data dal'impatto emotivo/musicale che si ha sul pubblico, e spesso per mantenere questo obbiettivo si tende a limitare le proprie pulsioni in funzione del risultato. I.D. significa impronta digitale, intesa sia come segno vero e proprio lasciato con le mani (le dita sono lo strumento primo dei djs), sia secondo la definizione del digitale come di "tutto ciò che viene rappresentato con numeri o che opera manipolando numeri". I.D. è anche l'acronimo inglese che sta per "identity document", documento di identità. Perché il fine di I.D. è quello di lasciare un impronta delle propria identità compostiva al di fuori delle logiche che regolano il dancefloor. "IO SONO QUELLO CHE SUONO" è la sintesi di questo manifesto. Una serata al centro della settimana - il mercoledi; ingresso libero, solo ascolto. "I.D. è un progetto che vede il dj/producer al centro dello scambio con il pubblico, e che nasce
dall'esigenza di decontestualizzare il dj dal suo ambito di lavoro abituale per riportarlo ad una possibilità di esprimersi in maniera più naturale.
L'affermazione in termini artistici viene data dal'impatto emotivo/musicale che si ha sul pubblico, e spesso per mantenere questo obbiettivo si tende a limitare le proprie pulsioni in funzione del risultato.
I.D. significa impronta digitale, intesa sia come segno vero e proprio lasciato con le mani (le dita sono lo strumento primo dei djs), sia secondo la definizione del digitale come di "tutto ciò che viene rappresentato con numeri o che opera manipolando numeri".
I.D. è anche l'acronimo inglese che sta per "identity document", documento di identità.
Perché il fine di I.D. è quello di lasciare un impronta delle propria identità compostiva al di fuori delle logiche che regolano il dancefloor.

Teachers College held the first of four convocation ceremonies on May 18 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, where master’s degrees were awarded to graduates from the departments of Arts and Humanities and Curriculum and Teaching. For the first time in the college’s history, the procession into the cathedral included a special group of alumni celebrating the Golden Anniversary of their graduation from Teachers College. This year’s graduates cheered loudly in appreciation as faculty members processed up the center aisle.
President Fuhrman welcomed them all, following with a special message to the graduates. “You will create beautiful pieces of art and music and then help new generations learn to create and appreciate artistic expression; or you will prepare students from the earliest grades through college to achieve basic and then more sophisticated literacy and language skills; or you will teach the citizens of the future to respect, appreciate and critically evaluate our past and to undertake productive collaborations to assure our future.” Fuhrman added, “We’re more hopeful knowing the world is in your hands.”
Associate Professor of Mathematics Erica N. Walker then awarded the Teachers College Medal for Distinguished Service to Deborah Loewenberg Ball, Dean of the School of Education, William H. Payne Collegiate Professor in Education, and Director of TeachingWorks, at the University of Michigan, who has devoted her career to elevating the status and impact of the teaching profession.
“You have expertise and perspectives that can truly make a difference in the years to come,” Ball said. She urged the graduates to understand and honor the power that skillful teaching can have on a young person’s development and, ultimately, on eliminating the structural bias and injustice in America’s educational system.
“Among the most powerful resources we have to effect social change is the power of good teaching,” she said, “in advancing education and social justice for our most vital resource – the young people who are the future of our society.”
Graduate Rachael Escobedo, who received her Masters of Arts in Philosophy and Education, also spoke, saying that convocation gave “testament to the kind of graduates that Teachers College produces: courageous, relentless, and passionate.”
Escobedo spoke about the support she received from classmates and professors at TC and the many lessons she learned as a student teacher, including the belief that “middle school teachers are saints,” middle school students teach their teachers to “be better every day,” and the need to learn and practice “perseverance, patience and selflessness.” She added, “We should never stop looking outside ourselves for the answers,” or stop “seeking to better the lives of our students.”
