Isabel falls from bed. Jacinta helps her get back on the bed and calms Isabel down, that before doing anything, Isabel has to recover a little bit more. Aunt Gabriela's departure from Bernarda's bedroom is delayed with Cella, who informs Bernarda, that she has visit. Bernarda wants Cella to deliver message for Emilio. Fernando arrived at some small village, hoping it is Caňada Seca. Cella informs Emilio, that Bernarda is occupied but has message for him. Emilio asks for the message and Cella repeats twice "She is alive!" Fernando arrived at one of the houses and asks for Rudy. He is told by Luisa, that Rudy is in village at pub on celebration. Fernando makes his way there. Fernando arrived in front of pub and caught Rudy. Fernando asks, where's Manuela and Rudy lies him all the way. Manuela didn't returned, stayed in Europe. If any message about her, Rudy will alert Fernando. The last question of Fernando is, what is Rudy celebrating. Rudy replies, it is his birthday. Fernando then leaves.
