The A-Team is an American action-adventure television series, running from 1983 to 1987, about a fictitious former United States Army Special Forces unit who, after being court-martialed "for a crime they didn't commit", escape from military prison and, while still on the run, work as soldiers of fortune. A feature film based on the series was released by 20th Century Fox in June 2010.
The A-Team was created by writers and producers Stephen J. Cannell and Frank Lupo at the behest of Brandon Tartikoff, NBC's Entertainment president. Cannell was fired from ABC in the early 1980s, after failing to produce a hit show for the network, and was hired by NBC; his first project was The A-Team. Brandon Tartikoff pitched the series to Cannell as a combination of The Dirty Dozen, Mission Impossible, The Magnificent Seven, Mad Max and Hill Street Blues, with "Mr. T driving the car".
The A-Team was not generally expected to become a hit, although Stephen J. Cannell has said that George Peppard suggested it would be a huge hit "before we ever turned on a camera". The show became very popular; the first regular episode, which aired after Super Bowl XVII on January 30, 1983, reached 26.4% of the television audience, placing fourth in the top 10 Nielsen-rated shows.
Jerrald King "Jerry" Goldsmith (February 10, 1929 – July 21, 2004) was an American composer and conductor most known for his work in film and television scoring. He composed scores for such noteworthy films as The Sand Pebbles, Logan's Run, Planet of the Apes, Patton, Papillon, Chinatown, The Wind and the Lion, The Omen, The Boys from Brazil, Alien, Poltergeist, The Secret of NIMH, Gremlins, Hoosiers, Total Recall, Basic Instinct, Rudy, Air Force One, L.A. Confidential, Mulan, The Mummy, three Rambo films, and five Star Trek films. He collaborated with some of film history's most prolific directors, including Robert Wise, Howard Hawks, Otto Preminger, Joe Dante, Roman Polanski, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg, Paul Verhoeven, and Franklin J. Schaffner. Goldsmith was nominated for six Grammy Awards, five Primetime Emmy Awards, nine Golden Globe Awards, four British Academy Film Awards, and eighteen Academy Awards. In 1976, he was awarded an Academy Award for The Omen.

Sean Patrick Astin (born Sean Patrick Duke; February 25, 1971) is an American actor, director, voice artist, and producer best known for his film roles as Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Mikey Walsh in The Goonies (1985), and the title character of Rudy (1993). In television, he appeared as Lynn McGill in season five of 24 and voices Raphael in the 2012 Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series and Oso in the Disney Junior show Special Agent Oso. Astin also served as the campaign manager for his friend, Democrat Dan Adler, a businessman in the entertainment industry, for California's 36th congressional district special election, 2011.
Astin was born in Santa Monica, California, the son of actress Patty Duke. At the time, it was reported that entertainer Desi Arnaz, Jr. was his biological father. When Michael Tell, a writer, music promoter and publisher of the newspaper The Las Vegas Israelite, came to sublet her apartment and offered to marry her as a way out of the scandal, Duke agreed. The marriage lasted only 13 days in 1970, and ended long before Astin was born.
Ladies, there are two genres with a good chance of making your man cry ... at least when no one's around. The inspirational sports film (such as ROCKY, THE NATURAL or BRIAN'S SONG), and those dealing with fathers & sons. Put 'em together as in FIELD OF DREAMS, THE ROOKIE (2002) or HOOSIERS; then stand back, pull on your galoshes, and watch the waterworks commence. Among the best of these "guy tear jerkers" is 1993's RUDY. Cited by both Sports Illustrated and ESPN as one of the "Greatest Sports Films of All Time"; on (count 'em!) two of the American Film Institute's "Top 100" lists ("Most Inspirational" and "Most Heroic"), and a favorite of comediennes ruminating on pent-up male emotions (Whitney Cummings does a hilarious bit), RUDY would emerge, like it's title character, as the "littl...

Let's go, Bis go
We use the freedom from the sonic pollution
To operate the sounds, hail our revolution
Just 'cos we come ablaze and you can't keep up
Won't sink to your level 'cos we've had enough
We want the static, the disco
Yeah from our radio-o
If you hate us, we don't care
There's teen-c kids everywhere
We want you, do you dare
Life for live, are you scared?
If you hate us, we don't care
There's teen-c kids everywhere
We are gonna hit you where it hurts
Let's go, Bis go
We're at the party and we're ready to disco
Need inspiration, there's no style, oh no
More plastic people and they're coming at you
