HIDDEN ERROR: Usage of "Rock ?n? roll Hall of Fame_members" is not recognized
The Coasters are an American rhythm and blues/rock and roll vocal group who had a string of hits in the late 1950s. Beginning with "Searchin'" and "Young Blood", their most memorable songs were written by the songwriting and producing team of Leiber and Stoller. Although the Coasters originated outside of mainstream doo-wop, their records were so frequently imitated that they became an important part of the doo-wop legacy through the 1960s.
The Coasters were formed in October 1955 as a spin-off of the Robins, a Los Angeles-based rhythm and blues group that included Carl Gardner and Bobby Nunn. The original Coasters were Carl Gardner, Billy Guy, Bobby Nunn, Leon Hughes (who was replaced by Young Jessie on a couple of their early Los Angeles recordings), and guitarist Adolph Jacobs. Jacobs left the group in 1959.
The songwriting team Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller had started Spark Records, and in 1955 produced "Smokey Joe's Cafe" for the Robins (their 5th single with Leiber-Stoller). The record was popular enough for Atlantic Records to offer Leiber and Stoller an independent production contract to produce the Robins for the Atlantic label. Only two of the Robins—Gardner and Nunn—were willing to make the move to Atlantic, recording their first songs in the same studio as the Robins had done (Master Recorders). In late 1957, the group moved to New York and replaced Nunn and Hughes with Cornell Gunter and Will "Dub" Jones. The new quartet was from then on stationed in New York (although all had Los Angeles roots).
A greatest hits album, sometimes called a "best of" album or a catalog album, is a compilation of songs by a particular artist or band. Most often the track list contains previously released recordings with a high degree of notability. However, to increase the appeal, especially to people who already own the original release, it is common to include remixes and/or alternate takes of popular songs; even new material (previously unreleased). At times a greatest hits compilation is the original release for songs that have themselves been released as a single and charted successfully.
Madonna's The Immaculate Collection is the best selling greatest hits compilation by a solo artist; all of the songs on it are presented in different versions than the original hit versions. The Eagles' Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) is the best selling greatest hits compilation by a group and also one of the ten best selling albums in history. Greatest hits albums are typically produced after an artist has had enough successful songs to fill out an album release. Some artists, such as Mariah Carey, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Kenny Rogers, Aerosmith, Kiss, U2, Dolly Parton, Journey, Los Tigres del Norte, Queen, Kylie Minogue and Billy Joel, have released multiple greatest hits albums through their long careers. Some greatest hits albums are released only at the end of the artist or group's career. For example, My Chemical Romance released a greatest hits album after they disbanded. Other artists, like Eminem have released hits albums in the center of their success. He released Curtain Call: The Hits in 2005 and then Shady XV as a compilation album in 2014.
The Very Best of Supertramp is a best of album by the English progressive rock band Supertramp originally released by A&M Records in June 1990.
This compilation features 15 studio recordings from 1974's Crime of the Century to 1985's Brother Where You Bound.
In their retrospective review, Allmusic noted that effectively compiling Supertramp's work is impossible since the group is so album-oriented. However, they offered a relative recommendation for The Very Best of Supertramp, saying that "it flows very smoothly" and is "the closest thing to a definitive overview of the '70s pop-prog group."
A Dutch release, also titled The Very Best of Supertramp, was issued in late 1989, featuring the same tracks but in a different order and a different sleeve. It was compiled by Dutch compilation label Arcade, although it was later re-issued on the A&M label. The album was a major success in the Dutch chart, spending nine weeks at number one and 70 weeks in total. Given its success, A&M did not officially release the alternative The Very Best of Supertramp in the Netherlands, although it has now replaced the Arcade version.

"Not Now" is a song by American rock band Blink-182, released on November 28, 2005, as the lead single from the group's first compilation album, Greatest Hits (2005). The song was composed and recorded during the sessions that produced Blink-182 (2003).
The song reached No. 18 on Billboard's Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 30 on the UK Singles Chart. This song also gave its name to a rock band in Glennallen, AK.
The song concerns death and miscommunication. The song's guitar riffs were compared to the Descendents, and are interspersed by verses containing a church organ.
"Not Now" was first released for download on the iTunes Music Store on the day of the album's release. It was included as a bonus track on the UK edition of Blink-182, although it is unclear why it was originally left off the track listing of the international edition. The song was also included on Atticus: ...Dragging the Lake, Vol. 3 (2005), a compilation album released by DeLonge's clothing company, Atticus Clothing. Both of these physical releases are a slightly shorter edit, where the bridge is shortened, making it roughly 15 seconds shorter.

Down in Mexico by The Coasters This is the "Death Proof"-version! But the version of Hangover 3 is also avaiable on youtube. Lyrics by magistrix.de: Down in Mexicali There's a crazy little place that I know Where the drinks are hotter than the chili sauce And the boss is a cat named Joe He wears a red bandana, plays a blues pianna In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico He wears a purple sash, and a black moustache In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico Well, the first time that I saw him He was sittin' on a piano stool I said "Tell me dad, when does the fun begin?" He just winked his eye and said "Man, be cool." He wears a red bandana, plays a blues pianna In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico He wears a purple sash, and a black moustache In a honky-tonk, down in Mexico All of a sudden in walks this ch...

The Coasters - Poison Ivy [Live Concert]
American group, The Coasters, charted with many songs throughout the 1950s and later became part of the doo wop movement in the '60s. In 1959, they released the song 'Poison Ivy' which went straight to number one on the US Hot R&B; chart, number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number fifteen on the UK singles chart. 'Poison Ivy' was one of three top ten hits by The Coasters that year as well as 'Charlie Brown' and 'Along Came Jones.' This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida. Although The Coasters were not considered to be a mainstream Doo Wop band, their songs were so often imitated that they became a huge and important part in the doo wop legacy throughout the 1960's. The Coasters had a string of hits throught the 50s, including "Searchin'" and "Young Blood". Their 1958 song "Yakety Yak" reached #1 on both the US Hot R&B; Charts and the US Billboard Charts. This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida. As an event filmmaker I had the unique opportunity to cover a 50th Birthday event for someone who hired the legendary Coasters for his party in Porter Ranch in September of 1988. Having shot footage for DEVO,Big Bad Vodoo Daddy and the Royal Crown Revue over the years, this event was the most energetic and fun. I am glad I have this footage and never tire of listening and watching this fantastic group of talented performers.
The Coasters became an important part of the doo wop legacy throughtout the 1960s, even though they originated outside of mainstream doo wop. Some of their biggest and most successful hits were written by song writing team Lieber and Stoller. In 1961, The Coasters released "Little Egypt (Ying-Yang) and it reached #23 on the US Billboard charts and #16 on the US R&B; charts. This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida. Carl Gardner, lead voice of the Coasters, is joined by Jewel Akens (of "Birds and Bees" fame) and David Somerville (lead of the Diamonds) to do one of the Coasters' big songs. This was recorded in 1999.

Along Came Jones
The Coasters
I plopped down in my easy chair and turned on Channel 2
A bad gunslinger called Salty Sam was chasin' poor Sweet Sue
He trapped her in the old sawmill and said with an evil laugh,
"If you don't give me the deed to your ranch
I'll saw you all in half!"
And then he grabbed her (and then)
He tied her up (and then)
He turned on the bandsaw (and then, and then...!)
(chorus):
And then along came Jones
Tall thin Jones
Slow-walkin' Jones
Slow-talkin' Jones
Along came long, lean, lanky Jones
Commercial came on, so I got up to get myself a snack
You should've seen what was goin' on by the time that I got back
Down in the old abandoned mine, Sweet Sue was havin' fits
That villain said, "Give me the deed to your ranch
Or I'll blow you all to bits!"
And then he grabbed her (and then)
He tied her up (and then)
He lit the fuse to the dynamite (and then, and then...!)
(chorus)
I got so bugged I turned it off and turned on another show
But there was the same old shoot-'em-up and the same old rodeo
Salty Sam was tryin' to stuff Sweet Sue in a burlap sack
He said, "If you don't give me the deed to your ranch
I'm gonna throw you on the railroad tracks!"
And then he grabbed her (and then)
He tied her up (and then)
He threw her on the railroad tracks (and then)
A train started comin' (and then, and then...!)
(chorus)
