Officer Stacy is prosecuted, found guilty of murder and sent to 'Gladiator School' (prison)! His partner (played by Benjamin Bratt) believes Stacy is innocent even though no evidence can be produced to say otherwise. Also working for Stacy's release are two internal investigation agents (one of them played by Ed O'Neill). Can these fellow officers get Stacy out of prison before the inmates teach him a deadly lesson?

He is Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received various awards in the past, including the Alan T. Waterman Award of the National Science Foundation. He talked about how computational complexity theory provided us new insights into the nature of physical law. With his primary research interest in quantum computing and computational complexity theory, he gave his personal view of quantum computing's key ideas, status, and prospects, placing the attempt to build practical quantum computers in the broader context of the quest to understand the ultimate physical limi...
Dr Scott Aaronson (MIT, UT Austin) gives the 2016 Strachey lecture. In the near future, it will likely become possible to perform special-purpose quantum computations that, while not immediately useful for anything, are plausibly hard to simulate using a classical computer. These "quantum supremacy experiments" would be a scientific milestone---decisively answering quantum computing skeptics, while casting doubt on one of the foundational tenets of computer science, the Extended Church-Turing Thesis. At the same time, these experiments also raise fascinating questions for computational complexity theorists: for example, on what grounds should we believe that a given quantum system really is hard to simulate classically? Does classical simulation become easier as a quantum system becomes ...
There's an organization responsible for more terrorism plots in the United States than al-Qaeda, al-Shabaab and ISIS combined: The FBI. How? Why? In an eye-opening talk, investigative journalist Trevor Aaronson reveals a disturbing FBI practice that breeds terrorist plots by exploiting Muslim-Americans with mental health problems. Scott Aaronson is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. Scott's research interests center around fundamental limits on what can efficiently be computed in the physical world. This has entailed studying quantum computing, the most powerful model of computation we have, based on known physical theory. He also writes a popular blog, http://www.scottaaronson.com/blog , and is the creator of the Complexity Zoo, http://qwiki.stanford.edu/index.php/Complexity_Zoo , an online encyclopedia of computational complexity theory. Scott Aaronson, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, delivered his inaugural lecture entitled "Quantum Computing and the Limits of the Efficiently Computable". Mr Aaronson discusses what can and can't be feasibly computed according to physical law. He argues that this is a fundamental question, not only for mathematics and computer science, but also for physics; and that the infeasibility of certain computational problems (such as NP-complete problems) could plausibly be taken as a physical principle, analogous to the Second Law or the impossibility of superluminal signalling. He first explains the basics of computational complexity, including the infamous P versus NP problem and the Extended Church-Turing Thesis. Then he discusses quantum computers...
Scott Aaronson Massachusetts Institute of Technology November 22, 2014 Scott Aaronson discusses the quest to understand the limits of efficient computation in the physical universe, and how that quest has been giving us new insights into physics over the last two decades. He explores the following questions: Can scalable quantum computers be built? Can they teach us anything new about physics? Is there some new physical principle that explains why they cannot be built? What would quantum computers be good for? Can quantum computing help us resolve which interpretation of quantum mechanics is the right one? Which systems in nature can be universal computers, and which cannot? Aaronson will end by describing a striking recent application of computational complexity theory to the black hole ...

Alissa Henry interviewed Jesus Culture band members Kim Walker-Smith, Chris Quilala, Josh Fisher, Brandon Aaronson, Ian McIntosh before their concert at The Ohio State Fair Monday, July 28, 2014.
Scott Aaronson's research seeks to illuminate what can and can't be done in computation according to the laws of physics. He studies quantum computing, which he not surprisingly regards as "one of the most exciting things happening in science right now." In 2011, Aaronson received an Alan T. Waterman award at a State Department ceremony. The award is the National Science Foundation's highest honor.

The legendary bassist talks with Mike from PSYCHO BABBLE TV.
You must be crazy or half insane
Look at your eyeballs, street cocaine
You drink that white rum, you hit the roof
What do you expect, one-five-one proof
You drive your mustang down Sunset Strip
And in the back seat, a big black whip
Look at your lipstick, all 'round your face
Everything you do is in bad taste
Chorus:
Baby I think you're cute
But there's no substitute for love
Honey it's a crying shame
This whole mad town thinks you're insane
You take me dancing but I can't dance
but when I try to, you start to laugh
You shake your hips child like a rattle snake
You make me jealous make no mistake
You went to Woodstock and all that trash
Your generation is fading fast
You wear them hot pants, they're out of style
You like brown sugar, I think it's vile
(Chorus)
One of these nights child, it won't be long
Somebody somewhere who's big and strong
In a dark alley, a blood stained coat
He'll stick his long thing right down your throat
(Chorus)
Lord have mercy
Hey baby, I think you're insane baby
You got no brain, you're insane
Tell me baby, can you play harp
Can you play bass
Can you play guitar
Can you play drum
Then you're insane
