Scientists claim that they haven't encountered anything like this before. The human ear cannot distinguish the strange sound, but its signature can be detected from space. It was the researchers from the University of Liverpool who discovered the unusual behavior in the Caribbean Sea.

All tropical storm warnings have been dropped in the Windward Islands.
A tropical storm watch continues for Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. Winds of 40 mph or greater are possible there beginning later Thursday.
Radar from Meteo France shows while the heaviest rain has ended, bands of rain continue over parts of the Lesser Antilles.
George F.L. Charles Airport on St. Lucia picked up 9.21 inches of rain Wednesday.
For most, total rainfall accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected across the Windward Islands and the southern Leeward Islands through Thursday. Life-threatening flash flooding and mudslides are possible.
Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches can be expected farther north across the northern Leeward Islands plus the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Accumulations will range from 1 to 3 inches across the Leeward Antilles, including Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao through Friday.
A wind gust to 89 mph was reported in St. Pierre, Martinique, Wednesday evening. Some stations are elevated at 50 to 100 feet. Sustained winds of 39 mph were reported on the island of Barbados.

The Caribbean Sea (Spanish: Mar Caribe) is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean located in the tropics of the Western Hemisphere. It is bounded by the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico and Central America to the west and southwest, to the north by the Greater Antilles starting with Cuba, to the east by the Lesser Antilles, and to the south by the north coast of South America.
The entire area of the Caribbean Sea, the numerous islands of the West Indies, and adjacent coasts, are collectively known as 'the Caribbean'. The Caribbean Sea is one of the largest seas and has an area of about 2,754,000 km2 (1,063,000 sq mi). The sea's deepest point is the Cayman Trough, between the Cayman Islands and Jamaica, at 7,686 m (25,220 ft) below sea level. The Caribbean coastline has many gulfs and bays: the Gulf of Gonâve, Gulf of Venezuela, Gulf of Darién, Golfo de los Mosquitos, Gulf of Paria and Gulf of Honduras.
The Caribbean Sea is proven to have the second biggest barrier reef in the world. This is called the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. It runs 1,000 km (620 mi) along the coasts of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras.

The Caribbean (/ˌkærᵻˈbiːən/ or /kəˈrɪbiən/; Spanish: Caribe; Dutch: 
Caraïben ; Caribbean Hindustani: कैरिबियन (Kairibiyana); French: Caraïbe or more commonly Antilles) is a region that consists of the Caribbean Sea, its islands (some surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and some bordering both the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean), and the surrounding coasts. The region is southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America, and north of South America.
Situated largely on the Caribbean Plate, the region comprises more than 700 islands, islets, reefs, and cays. (See the list.) These islands generally form island arcs that delineate the eastern and northern edges of the Caribbean Sea. The Caribbean islands, consisting of the Greater Antilles on the north and the Lesser Antilles on the south and east (including the Leeward Antilles), are part of the somewhat larger West Indies grouping, which also includes the Lucayan Archipelago (comprising The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands) north of the Greater Antilles and Caribbean Sea. In a wider sense, the mainland countries of Belize, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana are also included.

All tropical storm warnings have been dropped in the Windward Islands.
A tropical storm watch continues for Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. Winds of 40 mph or greater are possible there beginning later Thursday.
Radar from Meteo France shows while the heaviest rain has ended, bands of rain continue over parts of the Lesser Antilles.
George F.L. Charles Airport on St. Lucia picked up 9.21 inches of rain Wednesday.
For most, total rainfall accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected across the Windward Islands and the southern Leeward Islands through Thursday. Life-threatening flash flooding and mudslides are possible.
Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches can be expected farther north across the northern Leeward Islands plus the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Accumulations will range from 1 to 3 inches across the Leeward Antilles, including Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao through Friday.
A wind gust to 89 mph was reported in St. Pierre, Martinique, Wednesday evening. Some stations are elevated at 50 to 100 feet. Sustained winds of 39 mph were reported on the island of Barbados.

There's also an orchid park and a butterfly farm. In the huge aquarium, 150 kinds of fish species swim. The sight is made even more colorful by 1200 birds.

Jamaica and south southwestern Haiti could get 10 to 15 inches of rain — with isolated areas getting possibly up to 25 inches — and that could cause flooding, the hurricane center added. The hurricane is expected to remain a powerful storm through Sunday.
Although Hurricane Matthew is forecast to turn toward Jamaica, the hurricane was about 80 miles north of Punta Gallinas, Colombia, and the tropical storm conditions are possible in parts of that country overnight, forecasters said.
In Haiti, which has been hard-hit by natural disasters in the past, officials said preparation efforts were focused in the south of the country.

"I left work to pick up a few items, candles, tin stuff, bread," 41-year-old Angella Wage said at a crowded store in the Half Way Tree area of the capital. "We can never be too careful."
Jamaicans are accustomed to intense tropical weather but Hurricane Matthew looked particularly threatening. With wind speeds of 160 mph (260 kph), it was more powerful than Hurricane Gilbert, which made landfall on the island in September 1988 and was the most destructive storm in the country's modern history.
"Hurricane Matthew could rival or possibly exceed Gilbert if the core of the strongest winds does actually move over Jamaica," said Dennis Feltgen, a meteorologist and spokesman for the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami. "There is no certainty of that at this point."
Matthew was expected to bring heavy rainfall especially to the eastern tip and higher elevations, which could trigger flooding and landslides, Thompson said.
National Hurricane Center forecasters said rainfall totals could reach 10 to 15 inches (25 to 38 centimeters) with isolated maximum amounts of 25 inches (63 centimeters) in Jamaica and southwestern Haiti.
The Jamaican capital, Kingston, is in the southeastern corner of Jamaica and was expected to experience flooding. The government issued a hurricane watch on Friday afternoon, and a tropical storm watch was issued for Haiti's southwest coast form the southern border it shares with the Dominican Republic to the capital of Port-au-Prince.
As of 11 p.m. EDT (0300 GMT), the storm was centered about 80 miles (125 kilometers) northwest of Punta Gallinas, Colombia, and about 440 miles (710 kilometers) southeast of Kingston, Jamaica. It was moving west-southwest at 7 mph (11 kph).
Hurricane-force winds extended outward up to 35 miles (55 kilometers) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 195 miles (315 kilometers).
It brought extremely high tides, storm surge and heavy rain to Colombia, prompting authorities to declare an alert as local TV broadcast images of cars and tree trunks surging though flooded streets in coastal areas. Local media in La Guajira province reported that one person died in flooding.
Matthew caused at least one death when it entered the Caribbean on Wednesday, with officials in St. Vincent reporting a 16-year-old boy was crushed by a boulder as he tried to clear a blocked drain.
