Our Aim

Camphill Foundation funds an ever-changing variety of projects which enhance and enrich the lives of vulnerable people with learning disabilities.

Independence and freedom of choice are fine ideals, but they can only become a reality with the right level of SUPPORT, both financial and personal. Please donate online or leave a legacy to enable our work to continue.

We provide financial support which enables new initiatives to start, helps to create or improve facilities and  vital opportunities for creative and fulfilling work. It often provides that extra bit of help for enhancing the quality of life where regular funding fails to reach.

True quality of life means combining individual choice and fulfilment with social belonging and responsibility. That's what we aim to promote. Please help.

Real quality of life includes meaningful work

The small team of enthusiastic farm workers at Corbenic Community in Perthshire are very happy with their tractor funded by Camphill Foundation. The Foundation has a special interest in promoting environmental sustainability and a holistic lifestyle and often provides the seed money to support new initiatives.

Richard finds great pride and satisfaction in his work around the grounds of Mountshannon Community. Camphill Foundation's work is all about enabling and developing new opportunities for people with disabilities who find it difficult to establish themselves in adult life.

Help to promote outreach and integration

These workers at the social enterprise Colinton Community Composting in Edinburgh are ready for action. Camphill Foundation supports outreach and integration, work opportunities and different forms of living for people with special needs.

Building new craft facilities like these in Ballybay enables people to develop their skills and frees space to invite people from the local area for social and cultural events.
