Mohammad Rezā Shāh Pahlavī

October 1919 -- 27 July 1980) was the last Shah of Iran.
He ruled Iran from 16 September 1941 until his overthrow by the Iranian Revolution on 11 February 1979.
He was the second and last monarch of the House of Pahlavi of the Iranian monarchy.
Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi held several titles: His Imperial Majesty, Shahanshah (King of Kings,[1] Emperor), Aryamehr (Light of the Aryans) and Bozorg Arteshtārān (Head of the Warriors,

Mohammad Reza came to power during World War II after an Anglo-Soviet invasion forced the abdication of his father Reza Shah.
During his reign, the Iranian oil industry was briefly nationalized under Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh before a US backed coup d'état overturned the regime and brought back foreign oil firms.
Iran marked the anniversary of 2,500 years of continuous monarchy since the founding of the Persian Empire by Cyrus the Great.
The Shah's White Revolution was a series of economic, social and political reforms with the stated intention of transforming Iran into a global power and modernizing the nation.
However, poorly planned and executed, it instead resulted in a series of unintended consequences, alienating the general population from the government.
The lower class saw many of the government programs, on which they relied for subsistence, eliminated or radically altered.
The middle class saw the reforms as only aesthetic, giving them no real democratic or civil rights.
While the wealthy perceived the reforms as undermining the basis of their power and privilege.
A secular Muslim himself, Mohammad Reza gradually lost support from the Shi'a clergy of Iran, particularly due to his strong policy of modernization, secularization, conflict with the traditional class of merchants known as bazaari, and recognition of Israel.
Various additional controversial policies were enacted, including the banning of the communist Tudeh Party, and a general suppression of political dissent by Iran's intelligence agency, SAVAK.
According to official statistics, Iran had as many as 2,200 political prisoners in 1978, a number which multiplied rapidly as a result of the revolution.
Several other factors contributed to strong opposition to the Shah among certain groups within Iran, the most notable of which were the US and UK backed coup d'état against Mosaddegh in 1953, clashes with Islamists, and increased communist activity. By 1979, political unrest had transformed into a revolution which, on 16 January, forced the Shah to leave Iran.
Soon thereafter, the Iranian monarchy was formally abolished, and Iran was declared an Islamic republic.

Almost all Iranians regret what they did to their kind king. The Shah of Iran, Aryamehr, and his father, Reza Shah, modernized Iran. They saved Iran from dark medieval ages that had been brought by Islam and ignorance. Iran became one of the most popular countries in the world. Many countries described Iran as a roll model and considered Iran as part of the Western world. In the meantime, Mullahs and Islamists were not pleased with the situation. The Shah conferred women equal rights and made his wife Empress of Iran. That further infuriated the Mullahs. As the Shah did not sarve the interest of the West fully, President Carter of USA along with UK, France and W.Germany financed and help the Ayatollah who lived in France. The Ayatollah abused Iranians' feelings and called for Islamic revolution. France gave the Ayatollah everything he needed. BBC became the Ayatollah's speaker. President Carter sent millions of dollar to bank accounts in Frankfort for the Ayatollah. With growing demonstrations and armed troops fighting the Imperial Army, the Shah preferred to leave Iran rather than letting the army kill the deceived people. The days of glory and pride was over. The Shah while suffering from deadly CANCER became homeless as all previously friend counties like UK closed their doors on him. Finally Egypt kindly accepted having the Shahanshah of Iran in 1980.
Ayatollah accused the Shah of destroying and the escaping the country. You Judge!!! The Islamic regime brought poverty, corruption, 8 year war and disgrace to Iran. The Shah contends that the West built itself at Iran’s expense and he is now putting things right. Clarkson raises the issues of Iran’s record with political prisoners and torture and his views on torture are unequivocal. The Pahlavi dynasty would end four years later in the wake of the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Pahlavi died of cancer while in exile one year later.

Ben Kingsley
Sir Ben Kingsley (born Krishna Bhanji; 31 December 1943) is an English actor. In a career spanning over 40 years, he has won an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA, two Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild awards. He is known for his starring role as Mohandas Gandhi in the 1982 film Gandhi, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor. He is also known for his performances in the films Schindler's List (1993), Sexy Beast (2000), Lucky Number Slevin (2006), Shutter Island (2010), Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010), Hugo (2011), and Iron Man 3 (2013). Kingsley was made a Knight Bachelor in 2002. In 2010, he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2013 he received the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Filmed Entertainment.
Early life
Kingsley was born Krishna Bhanji in Snainton, North Riding of Yorkshire. He is the son of Anna Lyna Mary (born Goodman; 1914–2010), an actress and model who appeared in films in the 1920s and 1930s, and Rahimtulla Harji Bhanji (1914–1968), a medical doctor.

During his reign, the Iranian oil industry was briefly nationalized under Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh before a US backed coup d'état overturned the regime and brought back foreign oil firms.
Iran marked the anniversary of 2,500 years of continuous monarchy since the founding of the Persian Empire by Cyrus the Great.
The Shah's White Revolution was a series of economic, social and political reforms with the stated intention of transforming Iran into a global power and modernizing the nation.
However, poorly planned and executed, it instead resulted in a series of unintended consequences, alienating the general population from the government.
The lower class saw many of the government programs, on which they relied for subsistence, eliminated or radically altered.
The middle class saw the reforms as only aesthetic, giving them no real democratic or civil rights.
While the wealthy perceived the reforms as undermining the basis of their power and privilege.
A secular Muslim himself, Mohammad Reza gradually lost support from the Shi'a clergy of Iran, particularly due to his strong policy of modernization, secularization, conflict with the traditional class of merchants known as bazaari, and recognition of Israel.
Various additional controversial policies were enacted, including the banning of the communist Tudeh Party, and a general suppression of political dissent by Iran's intelligence agency, SAVAK.
According to official statistics, Iran had as many as 2,200 political prisoners in 1978, a number which multiplied rapidly as a result of the revolution.
Several other factors contributed to strong opposition to the Shah among certain groups within Iran, the most notable of which were the US and UK backed coup d'état against Mosaddegh in 1953, clashes with Islamists, and increased communist activity. By 1979, political unrest had transformed into a revolution which, on 16 January, forced the Shah to leave Iran.
Soon thereafter, the Iranian monarchy was formally abolished, and Iran was declared an Islamic republic.

Western Countries put their noise every where and make everything a mess and can not see other people can be better than them and if those Countries don't follow their rules they get in a big problem such attack those countries or trying changing the person just to caver their own ass, which they did to beautiful strong Country like IRAN because IRAN didn't want to sell cheap Oil to Western, since 1979 middle east never saw peace again after the Shah of Iran left Iran, now America and Western have to go to middle east to fight ISIS( which Western Governments crate them) but they couldn't accept that IRAN can keep middle east in peace.
I am showing this movie to western people just open their eyes BIG TERRORIST IS those Western Countries and they don't let people live their own life see what America and England's Government have done, go read the History, they are animal and like war . see what just happen in 35 years ,lots of innocent people got killed and people are leaving their Countries and coming to western saying PLEASE PLEASE let me to here, that's what you want!!?? As Richard Nixon fought off Watergate inquiries in 1973, the U.s. economy reacted to an oil shortage initiated by Arab nations in retaliation for American support of Israel in the Arab-israeli war. The price of oil skyrocketed, causing serious inflation. One man the U.s. could rely on in the Middle East was the Shah of Iran, a loyal ally whose grand ambitions had made him a leading customer for American weapons. Iran sold the U.s. oil; the U.s. sold Iran missiles and fighter jets. But the Shah's economy depended almost entirely on oil, and the U.s. economy could not tolerate annual double-digit increases in the price of this essential commodity. European economies were hit even harder by the soaring oil prices, and several Nato allies were at risk of default on their debt. In 1976, with the U.s. economy in peril, President Gerald Ford, locked in a tight election race, decided he had to find a country that would sell oil to the U.s. more cheaply and break the Opec monopoly, which the Shah refused to do. On the advice of Treasury Secretary William Simon and against the advice of Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Ford made a deal to sell advanced weaponry to the Saudis in exchange for a modest price hike on oil. Ford lost the election, but the deal had lasting consequences. The Shah's economy was destabilized, and disaffected elements in Iran mobilized to overthrow him. The U.s. had embarked on a long relationship with the autocratic Saudi kingdom that continues to this day. Andrew Scott Cooper draws on newly declassified documents and interviews with some key figures of the time to show how Nixon, Ford, Kissinger, the Cia, and the State and Treasury departments as well as the Shah and the Saudi royal family maneuvered to control events in the Middle East. He details the secret U.s.-saudi plan to circumvent Opec that destabilized the Shah. He reveals how close the U.s. came to sending troops into the Persian Gulf to break the Arab oil embargo. The Oil Kings provides solid evidence that U.s. officials ignored warning signs of a potential hostage crisis in Iran. It discloses that U.s. officials offered to sell nuclear power and nuclear fuel to the Shah

Salām-e Shāh was played in official ceremonies during the reign of Naser al-Din Shah, Mozaffar ad-Din Shah and Mohammad Ali Shah. It was also played as Persian national anthem during Naser al-Din Shah’s and Mozaffar ad-Din Shah’s European tours.
In 1909 after the fall of Mohammad Ali Shah, the anthem was abolished[3] and after coronation of his son and successor Ahmad Shah in 1914, Salute of Sublime State of Persia was adopted as Persian national anthem.[4]
