Undercover Israeli forces on Thursday shot dead a Palestinian during a hospital raid in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, witnesses and hospital staff said.
Abdullah Azzam Shalaldah, 28, was shot several times by forces who raided the surgery unit of al-Ahli hospital in order to detain his cousin, Azzam Ezzat Shalaldah, 20, who was shot by an Israeli settler last month, hospital staff told Ma’an.
Abdullah and another relative were in the hospital visiting Azzam when around 20 undercover Israeli soldiers entered the hospital at 3:00 a.m., witnesses said.
The forces tied up the relative while Abdullah, who was in the bathroom at the time, entered the room and was shot dead on scene.

The Israeli-occupied territories is a political concept, referring to the territories occupied by Israel during the Six-Day War of 1967. Originally, those territories included the Syrian Golan Heights, the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula and Egyptian-occupied Gaza Strip and Jordanian-occupied West Bank and were also referred to as Occupied Arab territories, ruled via the Israeli Military Governorate system from 1967 to 1982. Undercover Israeli forces on Thursday shot dead a Palestinian during a hospital raid in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, witnesses and hospital staff said.
Abdullah Azzam Shalaldah, 28, was shot several times by forces who raided the surgery unit of al-Ahli hospital in order to detain his cousin, Azzam Ezzat Shalaldah, 20, who was shot by an Israeli settler last month, hospital staff told Ma’an.
Abdullah and another relative were in the hospital visiting Azzam when around 20 undercover Israeli soldiers entered the hospital at 3:00 a.m., witnesses said.
The forces tied up the relative while Abdullah, who was in the bathroom at the time, entered the room and was shot dead on scene.

The resolution also condemns Israel for acts against Islamic holy sites in the city. It slams the "aggressions" by the Israeli occupation authorities. The majority of the 21-nation committee voted for the resolution proposed by Palestinians and Jordanians. The annual meeting was held in Paris on Wednesday. Israel’s representative to the UN, has reacted angrily calling the resolution craziness. He claims that the UN is trying to remove the Jewish people from their historical homeland. Also following the vote, Tel Aviv recalled its UNESCO representative to demonstrate dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ambassador to UNESCO has condemned Israel for "politicizing religion".

The resolution also condemns Israel for acts against Islamic holy sites in the city. It slams the QUOTE-aggressions by the Israeli occupation authorities. Israel’s representative to the U-N, has reacted angrily to the resolution calling it craziness. He claimed that the U-N is trying to remove the Jewish people from their historical homeland. Wadih said the mandate of the committee was to check for violations of the status quo, defined by the Geneva Convention that implies restrictions on the occupying power. He added that Jerusalem al-Quds should be seen as it was on the eve of the 5th of June 1967. Two weeks ago the committee voted for a similar draft resolution in which Islamic names were used for the holy sites in Jerusalem al-Quds. A day later, Tel Aviv called the resolution absurd and suspended its cooperation with UNESCO. It also began a round of lobbying activities to convince the organization members to withdraw their votes.

Inside the training camp of the hard-line '13th September Group' a commander hardens up a group of freshly armed teenage recruits by firing at their feet. Later there are lessons on using Katyusha rockets. Abu Khaled, chief of another radical Palestinian group, explains how he co-ordinates attacks with Hezbollah. Recognizing the popularity of resistance, the Amal movement, a rival Shia Muslim group to Hezbollah, has also resumed it's attacks against Israel. Watching the Amal fighters fire on an Israeli position, it is clear they are well trained and well armed.
The attacks now come in quick succession, aimed not at beating the Israelis back, but at weakening morale. "Of course we will win this guerrilla war, says one Hezbollah fighter, "we are in the right. The Israelis are occupying our land - we are not occupying theirs." For a regional analyst, these coordinated attacks are the first sign that the guerrilla war in Lebanon may intensify if Israel refuses to first satisfy Syria on the issue of the Golan Heights. Given the presence of these guerrilla fighters, any Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon without a prior agreement with the Syrians on the Golan Heights would be deemed unilateral and premature, exposing Israel's northern border to continued guerrilla attacks. The reality could be that Israel is more stuck than ever in south Lebanon.
