Ahmad
Ahmad, Ahmed or Ahmet are the principal transliterations of an Arabic given name, أحمد.
Etymology
Ahmad comes from the Arabic triconsonantal root of Ḥ-M-D, meaning "highly praised", which in turn implies "one who constantly thanks God." Several Arabic names are derived from this root word.
The name Ahmad has its origins in a prophecy attributed to Jesus, in the Quran in Surah 61: As-Saff (The Ranks). Some Muslim scholars see the names parallel in the word 'Paraclete' in the biblical text. This view is not universal considering translations, meanings and etymology.
Regarding Ibn Ishaq's biography of Muhammad, the Sirat Asul Allah, Islamic scholar Alfred Guillaume wrote:

centre of Multan in the south is home to gentler forms of music and dance. Saraiki areas in the south are equally rich in folklore. The Muslim high culture
is spoken in southern Punjab, which comprises Multan, Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh and Rahim Yar Khan districts. It is also spoken by majority of population of Dera Ismail Khan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (???? ????????) province, kachi plain of Balochistan, northern parts of Sindh, and also spoken by few people in the cities of Hyderabad and Karachi. More than 18 million Saraiki live in Pakistan, and nearly 100 thousand Saraiki live in other countries specially India, UAE and Saudi Arab
The word saraiki likely originated from sauvira, or Sauvira,[9] a kingdom name in ancient India which was also mentioned in the Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. By adding adjectival suffix -ki to the word sauvira it became sauviraki. The consonant v with its neighboring vowels was dropped for simplification and hence the name became saraiki. Although George Abraham Grierson reported that siraiki (that was the spelling he used) is from a Sindhi word siro, meaning "of the north, northern", Shackle[10]:388 asserts that this etymology is unverified. Another view is that saraiki originates from the word sarai.
