We’re not one for spreading rumours … unless there is legitimate reason to believe that a shiny new Disneyland may actually be in the works … IN AUSTRALIA.
That’s definitely something worthy of hype!
What we know so far
Disney fans have every reason to be hopeful. China’s richest man Wang Jianlin - chairman of Wanda group - is currently in conversation with the QLD State Government in regards to opening a new theme park, and the buzz is that it’s slated to be a Disney one.
Developers for the multi-million-dollar project allegedly have their eyes on a spot in Coomera, Queensland - just a tad to the north of all our other favourite Gold Coast parks.
Wanda Group are yet to comment on the speculation … but we’ll have our ears and eyes on the hunt for any more information as it comes out.
Here’s hoping Disney really DOES make our dreams come true and brings the happiest place on earth to our shores. I don’t know about you, but I’m picturing Mickey in an akubra and Daffy befriending a platypus already …
