Cecilie Thomsen

Cecilie Thomsen (born 29 October 1974 on Bogø, Denmark) is a Danish actress and model.

She is internationally best known for playing professor Inga Bergstrom opposite Pierce Brosnan in the 1997 James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies.

As a model, she is best known for her campaign work for Escada, L'Oreal, Guerlain, Nivea, Hermès, Neutrogena, Ungaro, and Marc O'polo. Editorial work include fashion magazines such as The Face, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Madame Figaro, Amica, Cosmopolitan, L'Officiel and Glamour. Magazine covers include Elle, Madame Figaro, Cosmopolitan, Biba, Depeche Mode, Self, Madame, Eurowoman, and Costume.

Her first fashion show was for Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld in Paris.

Thomsen graduated from the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University in 2001 and studied dance at Alvin Ailey. She has a MFA in Dramatic Arts. She can be seen in the Inside the Actors Studio episodes that featured Sean Penn, Steven Spielberg, Kevin Spacey, and Gene Hackman.

She played in duo with Henning Moritzen in the Danish segment of short film collection Visions of Europe. The segment is called "Europe doesn't exist" and it was directed by Christoffer Boe.

Cecilie had a 12 year long relationship with the Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams, ending in 2002. She starred in Adams' 1995 music video, "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" directed by Anton Corbijn.

Winter 2009, Cecilie debuted as music supervisor and executive producer on the soundtrack "Songs For A Soundtrack" for the Danish romcom "Simon&Malou;". She also got Bryan Adams to write a song for the movie called "No time for love" that was sung by Fallulah.
