Year 100 (C) was a leap year starting on Wednesday (link will display the full calendar) of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Traianus and Frontinus (or, less frequently, year 853 Ab urbe condita). The denomination 100 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years.

The yard (abbreviation: yd) is an English unit of length, in both the British imperial and US customary systems of measurement, that comprises 3 feet or 36 inches. It is by international agreement in 1959 standardized as exactly 0.9144 meters. A metal yardstick originally formed the physical standard from which all other units of length were officially derived in both English systems.
In the 19th and 20th centuries, increasingly powerful microscopes and scientific measurement detected variation in these prototype yards which became significant as technology improved. In 1959, the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa agreed to adopt the Canadian compromise value of 0.9144 meters per yard.
The term yard is also sometimes used for translating related lengths in other systems.
The name derives from the Old English gerd, gyrd, &c., which was used for branches, staves, and measuring rods. It is first attested in the late-7th century laws of Ine of Wessex, where the "yard of land" mentioned is the yardland, an old English unit of tax assessment equal to 1⁄4 hide. Around the same time, the Lindisfarne Gospel's account of the messengers from John the Baptist in the Book of Matthew used it for a branch swayed by the wind. In addition to the yardland, Old and Middle English both used their forms of "yard" to denote the surveying lengths of 15 or 16 1⁄2 ft used in computing acres, a distance now usually known as the "rod".
The 100-yard dash is a track and field event of 100 yards or 91.44 metres. It was part of the Commonwealth Games until 1966, and was included in the decathlon of the Olympics, at least in 1904. It is not generally used in international events (having been replaced by the 100-metre sprint). However, it is still occasionally run in the United States in certain competitions.

The red squirrel or Eurasian red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) is a species of tree squirrel in the genus Sciurus common throughout Eurasia. The red squirrel is an arboreal, omnivorous rodent.
In Great Britain, Italy and Ireland, numbers have decreased drastically in recent years. This decline is associated with the introduction by humans of the eastern grey squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) from North America, In addition, habitat loss is a factor. Due to this, without conservation the species could disappear from those shores within a generation.
Unlike some other rodents, the Eurasian red squirrel is not a direct threat to humans.
The red squirrel has a typical head-and-body length of 19 to 23 cm (7.5 to 9 in), a tail length of 15 to 20 cm (5.9 to 7.9 in), and a mass of 250 to 340 g (8.8 to 12 oz). Males and females are the same size, which means that the species is not sexually dimorphic. (The red squirrel is somewhat smaller than the eastern grey squirrel which has a head-and-body length of 25 to 30 cm (9.5 to 12 in) and weighs between 400 and 800 g (14 oz to 1.8 lb).)
Took a couple of squirrels today for my friend.

Shooting ground squirrels at long range. Using my Ruger 10/22. PSSHH 100 Yards long range?? yeah Right! I know thats what your thinking but, for a .22Lr yeah its a significant distance with subsonic rounds. all shots were ranged with a Laser rangefinder and were between65-150 yards. this was a trial run as a video Idea but we had a lot of fun and will be having more of these videos coming soon.
Red squirrels have invaded my property after getting chickens last summer. Since the beginning of spring this year I have eliminated 14 of them eating or getting into my chicken feed. They have also brought the pine martens in, so they must go to keep my chickens safe. This is MY BEST shot, ever. I measured it out at 105 yds two hours prior to this video. Enjoy.
Sorry for the bad quality. I had a couple settings messed up on the camera and to make it worse the heat mirage was very bad that day. just a quick two shot sequence using my AA S510 .22 on the first ground squirrels of the year. First shot was 93+ yds and the second was 100 yds.
Second day in a row that I was able to take a red squirrel at 100 yards. The Benjamin Armada is a beast! I located this squirrel immediately after ending the video. The dog didn't help at all. She treed a chipmunk to the left. :) Thanks for watching.

Did some pesting and seeing that a few ppl wanted to see the Hatsan group at 100 yards I did take some time out to shoot a group, I am not a plinker or a target shooter other then adjusting and tuning my rifle for the shoots that I need to make. A lot of ppl are fooled by some videos that shows long range shoots, those are great shots, but put that same gun in a regular Joe hands and they will not be able to make that shot...even a 100yard shot can be intimidating to a novice or someone who has not taken the necessary time to learn how to make these shots. Do not be fooled by the manufacturers. It takes skill, its not auto-matic. All guns that shoot in a straight line, and not to the left or right can make any shot, then its just knowing your hold over, and windage practice. That is the 1s...
