- Poems in median and dialectical Arabic in honor of the Prophet of Islam (al-manqaba al-nabawiyya al-sharifa) with the refrain "Salatu rabbi 'ala man ja'ana rahma wa shafi' bil hashri lana" (May the divine prayer accompany he who has come in a sign of clemence, our intercessor for the Day of Retribution), solo by Muhammad al-Sayyid Khalil al-A'dhami and Muhammad Shakir Mahmud, chorus, large frame drums (mazahir) and 10/8 jurjina rhythm.
صلاة ربي على من جاءنا * رحمة و شافع بالحشر لنا
صلاة ربي عد ما شرى* من المدن زوار لأم القرى
من يومي هذا ليوم الآخرا * تهدى لطه ملاذي و ذخرنا
ذخري و ملاذي لي و من به * الطفل ينفر من حضن امه
يا دين طه مخاطب ربه * يا ربي ارفع عن امتي العذاب
شافع مشفع ابو الزهرا غدا * للطائعين ذخرا و سندا
و الما اعتقد بيه يبقى خالدا * بنار حرها احر من نارنا
بنار يلقي رعيد لها و زفير * الما انتهى عن ما انهى البشير
ربي بطه اجرنا يا مجير * يوم الذي به تنشر صحفنا
يوم الما ينفع به مال و عذر * الا اللي يقدمه من حلو و مر
يا العاصي اصحه لزمانك و اعتبر * و قدم لنفسك قبل ما تنفنى
قدم لنفسك عمل به تحمدا * بالدنيا ثم تلقاه اذا
نادى المنادي و كان الشاهدا * كل عضو منك ينظق ما جنى
كل عضو منك ينظق و الكتاب * ياتي بشمالك و ما عندك جواب
اعلن التوبه ما خاب اللي تاب * و اعتصم بالله و يغفر ربنا

اد الفرائص مع كف النظر * عن المعاصي و اعمل حسنا

Adhamiyah
Al-Adhamiyah (Arabic: ألأعظمية, al-aʿẓamiyyah; BGN: Al A‘z̧amīyah), also Azamiya, is a neighborhood and east-central district of the city of Baghdad, Iraq. It is one of nine administrative districts in Baghdad.
Adhamiyah is located north-west of the city center and is an upscale area. It has 300,000 inhabitants. The base of the population consists of people with a high intellectual background, whether it be politicians, artists, scholars and even sports figures. The name is a reference to Abū Ḥanīfa an-Nuʿmān, known as the "Great Imam" (al-imām al-aʿẓam), a renowned scholar and founder of the prominent Sunni Hanafī school of Islamic religious jurisprudence. Abu Hanifa Mosque is a prominent landmark, built around the tomb of Abū Ḥanīfa an-Nuʿmān.
History
Adhamiyah neighborhood dates back to the Abbasid period and is one of the oldest areas of Baghdad.
2005 Al-Aaimmah bridge stampede
Although Adhamiyah has been the site of many clashes between Iraqi insurgents and US forces as well as tensions between Shi'a security forces and Sunni residents, in September 2005, the residents of Adhamiyah were credited with saving hundreds of Shi'a lives.

Excerpt from a sacred musical suite in Maqam Bayyat:
- Poems in median and dialectical Arabic in honor of the Prophet of Islam (al-manqaba al-nabawiyya al-sharifa) with the refrain "Salatu rabbi 'ala man ja'ana rahma wa shafi' bil hashri lana" (May the divine prayer accompany he who has come in a sign of clemence, our intercessor for the Day of Retribution), solo by Muhammad al-Sayyid Khalil al-A'dhami and Muhammad Shakir Mahmud, chorus, large frame drums (mazahir) and 10/8 jurjina rhythm.
صلاة ربي على من جاءنا * رحمة و شافع بالحشر لنا
صلاة ربي عد ما شرى* من المدن زوار لأم القرى
من يومي هذا ليوم الآخرا * تهدى لطه ملاذي و ذخرنا
ذخري و ملاذي لي و من به * الطفل ينفر من حضن امه
يا دين طه مخاطب ربه * يا ربي ارفع عن امتي العذاب
شافع مشفع ابو الزهرا غدا * للطائعين ذخرا و سندا
و الما اعتقد بيه يبقى خالدا * بنار حرها احر من نارنا
بنار يلقي رعيد لها و زفير * الما انتهى عن ما انهى البشير
ربي بطه اجرنا يا مجير * يوم الذي به تنشر صحفنا
يوم الما ينفع به مال و عذر * الا اللي يقدمه من حلو و مر
