The movie story deals with a young couple Raja and Rita are driving through a dense forest at night. Tired and sleepy, they decide to stop for the night, and find a haveli nearby. They fall asleep in the outskirts of the mansion. Around midnight, the husband awakes all of a sudden and gets up to investigate. Then a horrible monster attacks him. His wife wakes up hearing him scream and they are both killed by the monster. An old man Narendra suddenly appears, a bit too late but eventually traps the monster in an underground cage and attaches a cross to the latch to keep him from escaping. The Story moves into the lives of an industrialist Kumar, his cunning wife Seema and their niece Anita. Kumar’s brother and his wife were killed in a car accident; their vast estate is held in trust by Kumar until Anita comes of age. Kumar is a good human being who loves his niece like a daughter, but his wife Seema is a cunning lady who wishes her younger brother Vikram to impress and wed Anita, so that both of them can milk out the entire estate. But, Anita does not approve of Vikram and is in love with a photographer, Sunil. Kumar decides to buy the mansion for a sum of twenty five lacs from Mr. Rana. While leaving with Rana to see the mansion, Kumar once again instructs Vikram along with his wife to woo Anita over as soon as possible. Seema asks her husband to send word as soon as he reaches the mansion. Meanwhile, Shankar, Rana's old servant, a habitual drunkard goes to the mansion to clean it up. But the monster controls all the evil forces and as a result, Shankar is killed by an iron statue. Both Rana and Kumar reach the haveli at night and they both get killed by the monster.

Synopsis:Purani Kabar is a late nineties movie, and has a distinctly different story than the others that we have synopsized here. The story has streaks of revenge, bad ghost, good ghost, deceit, and other clichÈ and non-clichÈ concepts that we find in Bollywood Horror movies. In fact, there are so many arcs that you kind of forget whoís doing what in the movie at the end of it all.
Four friends ñ we are talking communal harmony here, one is a Gujarati, another one is a Maharasthrian, the third is a Christian and the fourth is a Punjabi ñ buy tickets. The ticket seller sells the last ticket to their fifth friend. Though he says that he does not gamble, she persuades him to buy the ticket. Finally, come ticket day, the friend who never wanted to buy the ticket wins the money. The four friends now come up with the convoluted logic that they should have an equal share in the prize money. When their friend refuses to part with the money, they kill him, steal the ticket money, and become millionaires (adjusted for inflation) overnight. When the dead manís wife confronts them, they threaten her too and drive her away. However, a stranger starts blackmailing the quartet, and even succeeds in stealing away their car once.
Many years later, the dead manís son grows up to be a police officer. The quartet come back to the same area, and buys a piece of land for a hotel. On the day the hotel debuts, the driver who drove the car on the fateful day is killed by a grotesque monster, via stabbing and strangling. The item girl who was invited to the hotel launch calls up the police officer, and tells him of the murder. We are also introduced to the hotel receptionist, who has a fling with one of the four friends.
Meanwhile, the quartet once more get a call from the blackmailer, but this time they kill him off and bury him somewhere in the area. The police officer now comes to the hotel once again to meet the four, and he introduces the four to his assistant, who looks quite similar to the blackmailer who was killed. Turns out that the police inspectorís assistant is the lookalike brother of the original blackmailer, and he has vowed to carry out the blackmailing again.The assistant is too killed off one day, but the four are surprised to find another man who looks quite similar to the blackmailer. We then find out that there are three people having the same looks, and are blood brothers.
On another note, a film crew comes to the hotel for a shooting, and love blooms between the hero and the heroine ñ all this while the second friend from the group is killed off by the strange ghost. Now, with only two more friends left, they go to a tantric, who gives them a magic amulet ñ but only after he has his way with the girlfriend of one of the partners. As they are returning from the tantric, they see the ghost, but buoyed by the fact that they have an amulet to save them, they run over him. And while we go ahead in the movie, the heroine is killed off by the ghost, because she has the guts to go to the grave and dance on it.
Back home, the ghost takes the form of the receptionist, and tries to seduce the one who had a soft spot for her, and then kills him off. With many of them being killed, the police officer confronts his assistant, and finds out the four had killed his father over a lottery ticket. When he goes to the hotel to confront the four, he finds out that they have brought a tantric who has already captured the ghost, and has invoked another one to defeat the police officer and the assistant. However, the movie hero reaches the scenario in time, and tells them of the secret that will release the first ghost, so that he can fight the tantricís ghost. Once this happens, they defeat the bad ghost, as well as the last partner of the quartet

Kumar
Kumar (
pronunciation ; Sanskrit: कुमार) is a Hindu title, a given name, middle name, or a family name found in India, though not specific to any caste or community. It is a generic title which variously means son, boy, prince, unmarried or chaste. It is the 9th most common family name in the world, 3rd most common in India and 2nd most common in Fiji. It is more common in Northern India and the most common family name in Haryana, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
History
The origin of Kumar can be traced back to early development of Hinduism and its origin in India. The first usage of Kumar was for the Four Kumāras, the four sons of Brahma from the Puranic texts of Hinduism named Sanaka, Sanatana, Sanandana, and Sanat.
In Skanda Purana, the largest Mahapurana, a genre of eighteen Hindu religious texts, the text is devoted mainly to the leelas of Kartikeya, son of Shiva and Parvati. "Kumar" is used to refer Kartikeya.

Purani Haveli
Purani Haveli is a palace located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was the official residence of the Nizam. It was also known as Haveli Khadeem, which means old mansion, was constructed for Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III (1803–1829) by his father Ali Khan Bahadur, Asaf Jah II.
The 2nd Nizam Mir Nizam Ali Khan had taken over this from Rukunudhaulah of the Momin dynasty, in 1717. The main building is a symbol of 18th century European architecture. Sikander Jha lived here for some time and later shifted to Khilwat Mahal. Due to this, these buildings are called Purani Haveli. In this building complex, Ayina Khaana (Mirror House) and Chini Khaana (ChineseGlass House) were constructed.
Now the South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (Hyderabad) and South Zone Task Force Police Addl DCP offices are being functioned here.
The Palace
The Haveli is "U" in shape, with two oblong wings running parallel to each other and the residential palace located perpendicularly in the middle. The main building resembles 18th-century European palaces. A unique feature of this palace is the world's longest wardrobe, built in two levels with a hand-cranked wooden lift(elevator) in place. This occupies the entire length of one wing of the palace.

Amita Nangia
Amita Nangia (also known as Ameeta Nangia) is a TV actress and character artist in Bollywood. Her initial popularity was from her role as Sheena in TV Serial Tara, broadcast on Zee TV in 1993. She played roles in many A, B and C grade Bollywood movies, and was among the five girls of popular TV serial Hum Paanch (sitcom), also on Zee TV. Tej Sapru is a Bollywood and Television actor. He is the son of D. K. Sapru and Hemvati who were actor and actress in Hindi film industry. His sister Priti Sapru and Reema Rakesh Nath are also actresses of Hindi and Punjabi film industry. Some of Tej's films are Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Mohra, Sirf Tum and Saajan. An old man Narendra suddenly appears, a bit too late but eventually traps the monster in an underground cage and attaches a cross to the latch to keep him from escaping. The Story moves into the lives of an industrialist Kumar, his cunning wife Seema and their niece Anita. Kumar’s brother and his wife were killed in a car accident; their vast estate is held in trust by Kumar until Anita comes of age. Kumar is a good human being who loves his niece like a daughter, but his wife Seema is a cunning lady who wishes her younger brother Vikram to impress and wed Anita, so that both of them can milk out the entire estate. But, Anita does not approve of Vikram and is in love with a photographer, Sunil. Kumar decides to buy the mansion for a sum of twenty five lacs from Mr. Rana. While leaving with Rana to see the mansion, Kumar once again instructs Vikram along with his wife to woo Anita over as soon as possible. Seema asks her husband to send word as soon as he reaches the mansion. Meanwhile, Shankar, Rana's old servant, a habitual drunkard goes to the mansion to clean it up. Synopsis:Purani Kabar is a late nineties movie, and has a distinctly different story than the others that we have synopsized here. The story has streaks of revenge, bad ghost, good ghost, deceit, and other clichÈ and non-clichÈ concepts that we find in Bollywood Horror movies. In fact, there are so many arcs that you kind of forget whoís doing what in the movie at the end of it all. Four friends ñ we are talking communal harmony here, one is a Gujarati, another one is a Maharasthrian, the third is a Christian and the fourth is a Punjabi ñ buy tickets. The ticket seller sells the last ticket to their fifth friend. Though he says that he does not gamble, she persuades him to buy the ticket. Finally, come ticket day, the friend who never wanted to buy the ticket wins the money. The four friends now come up with the convoluted logic that they should have an equal share in the prize money. When their friend refuses to part with the money, they kill him, steal the ticket money, and become millionaires (adjusted for inflation) overnight. When the dead manís wife confronts them, they threaten her too and drive her away. However, a stranger starts blackmailing the quartet, and even succeeds in stealing away their car once. Many years later, the dead manís son grows up to be a police officer. The quartet come back to the same area, and buys a piece of land for a hotel. On the day the hotel debuts, the driver who drove the car on the fateful day is killed by a grotesque monster, via stabbing and strangling. The item girl who was invited to the hotel launch calls up the police officer, and tells him of the murder. We are also introduced to the hotel receptionist, who has a fling with one of the four friends. Meanwhile, the quartet once more get a call from the blackmailer, but this time they kill him off and bury him somewhere in the area. The police officer now comes to the hotel once again to meet the four, and he introduces the four to his assistant, who looks quite similar to the blackmailer who was killed. Turns out that the police inspectorís assistant is the lookalike brother of the original blackmailer, and he has vowed to carry out the blackmailing again.The assistant is too killed off one day, but the four are surprised to find another man who looks quite similar to the blackmailer. We then find out that there are three people having the same looks, and are blood brothers. On another note, a film crew comes to the hotel for a shooting, and love blooms between the hero and the heroine ñ all this while the second friend from the group is killed off by the strange ghost. Now, with only two more friends left, they go to a tantric, who gives them a magic amulet ñ but only after he has his way with the girlfriend of one of the partners. As they are returning from the tantric, they see the ghost, but buoyed by the fact that they have an amulet to save them, they run over him. And while we go ahead in the movie, the heroine is killed off by the ghost, because she has the guts to go to the grave and dance on it. Back home, the ghost takes the form of the receptionist, and tries to seduce the one who had a soft spot for her, and then kills him off. With many of them being killed, the police officer confronts his assistant, and finds out the four had killed his father over a lottery ticket. When he goes to the hotel to confront the four, he finds out that they have brought a tantric who has already captured the ghost, and has invoked another one to defeat the police officer and the assistant. However, the movie hero reaches the scenario in time, and tells them of the secret that will release the first ghost, so that he can fight the tantricís ghost. The movie story deals with a young couple Raja and Rita are driving through a dense forest at night. Tired and sleepy, they decide to stop for the night, and find a haveli nearby. They fall asleep in the outskirts of the mansion. Around midnight, the husband awakes all of a sudden and gets up to investigate. Then a horrible monster attacks him. His wife wakes up hearing him scream and they are both killed by the monster. An old man Narendra suddenly appears, a bit too late but eventually traps the monster in an underground cage and attaches a cross to the latch to keep him from escaping. The Story moves into the lives of an industrialist Kumar, his cunning wife Seema and their niece Anita. Kumar’s brother and his wife were killed in a car accident; their vast estate is held in trust by Kumar until Anita comes of age. Kumar is a good human being who loves his niece like a daughter, but his wife Seema is a cunning lady who wishes her younger brother Vikram to impress and wed Anita, so that both of them can milk out the entire estate. But, Anita does not approve of Vikram and is in love with a photographer, Sunil. Kumar decides to buy the mansion for a sum of twenty five lacs from Mr. Rana. While leaving with Rana to see the mansion, Kumar once again instructs Vikram along with his wife to woo Anita over as soon as possible. Seema asks her husband to send word as soon as he reaches the mansion. Meanwhile, Shankar, Rana's old servant, a habitual drunkard goes to the mansion to clean it up. But the monster controls all the evil forces and as a result, Shankar is killed by an iron statue. Both Rana and Kumar reach the haveli at night and they both get killed by the monster.

Synopsis:Purani Kabar is a late nineties movie, and has a distinctly different story than the others that we have synopsized here. The story has streaks of revenge, bad ghost, good ghost, deceit, and other clichÈ and non-clichÈ concepts that we find in Bollywood Horror movies. In fact, there are so many arcs that you kind of forget whoís doing what in the movie at the end of it all.
Four friends ñ we are talking communal harmony here, one is a Gujarati, another one is a Maharasthrian, the third is a Christian and the fourth is a Punjabi ñ buy tickets. The ticket seller sells the last ticket to their fifth friend. Though he says that he does not gamble, she persuades him to buy the ticket. Finally, come ticket day, the friend who never wanted to buy the ticket wins the money. The four friends now come up with the convoluted logic that they should have an equal share in the prize money. When their friend refuses to part with the money, they kill him, steal the ticket money, and become millionaires (adjusted for inflation) overnight. When the dead manís wife confronts them, they threaten her too and drive her away. However, a stranger starts blackmailing the quartet, and even succeeds in stealing away their car once.
Many years later, the dead manís son grows up to be a police officer. The quartet come back to the same area, and buys a piece of land for a hotel. On the day the hotel debuts, the driver who drove the car on the fateful day is killed by a grotesque monster, via stabbing and strangling. The item girl who was invited to the hotel launch calls up the police officer, and tells him of the murder. We are also introduced to the hotel receptionist, who has a fling with one of the four friends.
Meanwhile, the quartet once more get a call from the blackmailer, but this time they kill him off and bury him somewhere in the area. The police officer now comes to the hotel once again to meet the four, and he introduces the four to his assistant, who looks quite similar to the blackmailer who was killed. Turns out that the police inspectorís assistant is the lookalike brother of the original blackmailer, and he has vowed to carry out the blackmailing again.The assistant is too killed off one day, but the four are surprised to find another man who looks quite similar to the blackmailer. We then find out that there are three people having the same looks, and are blood brothers.
On another note, a film crew comes to the hotel for a shooting, and love blooms between the hero and the heroine ñ all this while the second friend from the group is killed off by the strange ghost. Now, with only two more friends left, they go to a tantric, who gives them a magic amulet ñ but only after he has his way with the girlfriend of one of the partners. As they are returning from the tantric, they see the ghost, but buoyed by the fact that they have an amulet to save them, they run over him. And while we go ahead in the movie, the heroine is killed off by the ghost, because she has the guts to go to the grave and dance on it.
Back home, the ghost takes the form of the receptionist, and tries to seduce the one who had a soft spot for her, and then kills him off. With many of them being killed, the police officer confronts his assistant, and finds out the four had killed his father over a lottery ticket. When he goes to the hotel to confront the four, he finds out that they have brought a tantric who has already captured the ghost, and has invoked another one to defeat the police officer and the assistant. However, the movie hero reaches the scenario in time, and tells them of the secret that will release the first ghost, so that he can fight the tantricís ghost. Once this happens, they defeat the bad ghost, as well as the last partner of the quartet

The Agra Fort in India - Full Guided Tour
Guided tour around the Agra Fort in India. The present-day structure was built by the Mughals, though a fort had stood there since at least the 11th century. Agra Fort was originally a brick fort, held by the Hindu Sikarwar Rajputs. It was mentioned for the first time in 1080 AD when a Ghaznavide force captured it. Sikandar Lodi (1488--1517) was the first Sultan of Delhi who shifted to Agra and lived in the fort. He governed the country from here and Agra assumed the importance of the second capital. He died in the fort at 1517 and his son, Ibrahim Lodi, held it for nine years until he was defeated and killed at Panipat in 1526. Delhi City Guide | India Travel Video Transcript:
Well good morning from Delhi. It is our first day of sightseeing. Sam's parents arrived last night. Yeah. We've got the full group for travels. The squad is ready. We're going to be doing. We're going to be in Delhi for a couple of days.
Yeah, just a that is how we're kicking things off. And yeah we just started by walking around today. We're visiting the Red Fort (लाल क़िला - لال قلعہ) right now.
All over India. Yeah, so right now we're visiting the Red Fort (लाल क़िला - لال قلعہ) and honestly this is probably going to be a bit of a different format because we obviously want to spend time with Sam's parents. I don't think we're going to be filming as much but we're going to show you some of the highlights and kind of see how it works out. So let's go tour Delhi now.
After wandering around the Red Fort for an hour or so, it was time for a little break, so we decided to introduce my parents to their first cup of masala chai in India.
From there we went on a short tour of Old Delhi during rush hour, which in retrospect may not have been the best idea. It was a little too crowded to walk, so we popped into a restaurant for lunch instead.
After visiting Humayun’s Tomb, we took two cycle rickshaws over to the Lodi Gardens. It was getting close to lunch hour, so first we stopped at “Lodi - The Garden Restaurant” where we had a really nice meal in an outdoor setting. From there we were just a few steps away from the actual gardens, which proved to be a popular spot on the weekend.
The Gardens are named after the Lodhi Dynasty, who ruled parts of northern India from the mid 15th century to the early 16th century, before the rise of the Mughal Empire. The gardens contain various tombs and mosques, and it’s a very tranquil setting in what can otherwise be a very chaotic city.
Like most structures in Old Delhi, Jama Masjid is made of red sandstone and white marble, and it also happens to be one of the largest mosques in all of India.
So we're at the train station here in Delhi (दिल्ली ਿਦੱਲੀ) and that means we are wrapping up the trip here. What an adventure. So yeah that is it for our time in Delhi. That was an assault on the senses. Oh yes. Delhi is a very chaotic but yet exciting city and there is a lot to do but it is the kind of place where once you've seen a few attractions and you're ready to move on yeah. Yeah, it is time to move on. And we are moving on. Where are we off to next? We're off to Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. So this is somewhere I've been before. I'm so excited to be going there. So stay tuned for those adventures. We've got a lot more destinations in India to come. Bye!

Indian street food and Indian Food is something I've always loved to eat! So I flew to Delhi, India just for the food, and have been eating Indian street food and curry non stop. Old Delhi is a food lovers heaven! It's been the best Street Food I've tasted in India! The Indian food is so good in Delhii! I've eaten street food in Chennai, street food in Hyderabad, Indian street food in Kerala, and street food in Mumbai, all of which has been amazing!
The street food in Delhi was so mouthwatering and delicious. The restaurant food was also very nice and to die for! I had some amazing curries and Mughlai cuisine at Karim's in Old Delhi.
Here are the specific locations for the Indian street food and Indian restaurants in Delhi that I tried:
1) Paratha at Paratha Wali Gali
2) Pani Puri at Paratha Wali Gali
3) Kachori at Paratha Wali Gali

Guided tour around the Agra Fort in India.
The present-day structure was built by the Mughals, though a fort had stood there since at least the 11th century. Agra Fort was originally a brick fort, held by the Hindu Sikarwar Rajputs. It was mentioned for the first time in 1080 AD when a Ghaznavide force captured it. Sikandar Lodi (1488--1517) was the first Sultan of Delhi who shifted to Agra and lived in the fort. He governed the country from here and Agra assumed the importance of the second capital. He died in the fort at 1517 and his son, Ibrahim Lodi, held it for nine years until he was defeated and killed at Panipat in 1526. Several palaces, wells and a mosque were built by him in the fort during his period.

After the First Battle of Panipat in 1526, Mughals captured the fort and seized a vast treasure, including the diamond later known as the Koh-i-Noor. The victorious Babur stayed in the fort in the palace of Ibrahim and built a baoli (step well) in it. The emperor Humayun was crowned here in 1530. Humayun was defeated at Bilgram in 1540 by Sher Shah. The fort remained with Suris till 1555, when Humanyun recaptured it. The Hindu king Hem Chandra Vikramaditya, also called 'Hemu', defeated Humanyun's army, led by Iskandar Khan Uzbek, and won Agra. Hemu got a huge booty from this fort and went on to capture Delhi from the Mughals. The Mughals under Akbar defeated King Hemu finally at the Second Battle of Panipat in 1556.
Realizing the importance of its central situation, Akbar made it his capital and arrived in Agra in 1558. His historian, Abdul Fazal, recorded that this was a brick fort known as 'Badalgarh' . It was in a ruined condition and Akbar had it rebuilt with red sandstone from Barauli area in Rajasthan. Architects laid the foundation and it was built with bricks in the inner core with sandstone on external surfaces. Some 4,000 builders worked on it daily for eight years, completing it in 1573.
It was only during the reign of Akbar's grandson, Shah Jahan, that the site took on its current state. Legend has it that Shah Jahan built the beautiful Taj Mahal for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Unlike his grandfather, Shah Jahan tended to have buildings made from white marble, often inlaid with gold or semi-precious gems. He destroyed some of the earlier buildings inside the fort to make his own.
At the end of his life, Shah Jahan was deposed and restrained by his son, Aurangzeb, in the fort. It is rumoured that Shah Jahan died in Muasamman Burj, a tower with a marble balcony with a view of the Taj Mahal.
The fort was the site of a battle during the Indian rebellion of 1857, which caused the end of the British East India Company's rule in India, and led to a century of direct rule of India by Britain.
