See firsthand what it's like to rip down one of the heaviest downhill mountain bike tracks ever created, through he GoPro view of the creator himself, Dan Atherton. It's why Red Bull Hardline is an event like no other. The long and technical course plays on a variety of disciplines, where incredibly steep and rocky technical sections were combined with a motocross run in and 50-foot [15.24 meters] gap jump to create one of the most progressive downhill courses on the planet.

With the 2016 UCI overall title standing on this run, there was a little added pressure for Atherton. Blasting through the speed trap at 73kph, it was clear from the start that she was riding on another level. As each split came up, she increased her winning advantage right up until she crossed the line with an 11-second lead. It’s been the perfect season for Rachel Atherton as she takes the 016 UCI women’s overall title, with one round left to go.

Blasting through the speed trap at 73kph, it was clear from the start that she was riding on another level. As each split came up, she increased her winning advantage right up until she crossed the line with an 11-second lead. It’s been the perfect season for Rachel Atherton as she takes the 016 UCI women’s overall title, with one round left to go.
