Covers (Show of Hands album)
Covers is the eighth studio album by English acoustic roots duo Show of Hands. The album was released in 2000 by the duo's own label Hands on Music. The album exclusively features cover versions of thirteen songs by the duo, chosen and recorded to reflect the band's contemporary musical influences. As such, the album contains no Steve Knightley compositions. The album was recorded over two days in Chudleigh Town Hall, Devon, with producer Gerald O'Farrell, and features only "straight performances", with its songs being untouched by post-production or techniques such as overdubbing or double tracking, presenting a "live" sound. The album followed their limited edition release Folk Music (1998), which featured the band's versions of traditional folk songs, and was the duo's first array into creating an album of music without Knightley compositions.
The album was released to a positive critical reception, with Dave Tuxford of Living Tradition was "superbly produced" and that "it's unlikely that you'll be less than impressed." The album's cover version of Billy Joel's "The Downeaster 'Alexa'" was featured on the band's compilation album Roots: The Best of Show of Hands (2007). A follow-up album of cover versions, Covers 2, was recorded with Miranda Sykes and released in November 2010.
"@" (album)
"@" is a studio album by John Zorn and Thurston Moore. It is the first collaborative album by the duo and was recorded in New York City in February, 2013 and released by Tzadik Records in September 2013. The album consists of improvised music by Zorn and Moore that was recorded in the studio in real time with no edits or overdubs.
Reception
Allmusic said "@ finds two of New York City's longest-running fringe dwellers churning out sheets of collaborative sounds that conjoin their respective and distinct states of constant freak-out... These seven improvisations sound inspired without feeling at all heavy-handed or urgent. More so, @ succeeds with the type of conversational playing that could only be achieved by two masters so deep into their craft that it probably feels a lot like breathing to them by now".

?! is the third studio album by Italian rapper Caparezza, and his first release not to use the former stage name MikiMix.
Reception
Reviewing the album for Allmusic, Jason Birchmeier wrote, "The Italian rapper drops his rhymes with just as much fluency and dexterity as his American peers throughout the album. [...] Caparezza's mastery of the Italian dialect [makes] this album so stunning."

"Album" is the seventh episode of the first season of the 1974 American television series Land of the Lost. Written by Dick Morgan and directed by Bob Lally, it first aired in the United States on October 19, 1974 on NBC. The episode guest stars Erica Hagen.
Plot
Will awakens in the early morning to a high-pitched whirring sound which fills the jungle, but eventually it goes away. Rick has Holly build a trap to catch whatever has been breaking into their stores, and Will goes to weed the garden. While outside, he again hears the sound and follows it to the Lost City. Within, he enters a chamber with a very crude-looking attempt to simulate a matrix table but filled with colored stones instead of crystals. On the ground is a pulsating blue crystal that attracts his attention. Picking it up, he sees his mother (Erica Hagen) materialize in a cloud of mist. Afterwards, he returns to High Bluff but doesn't speak of his encounter.
The next day Holly's trap has not worked, and Will again hears the sound. Holly hears it briefly as well, but dismisses it. Will returns to the Lost City and again witnesses his mother while holding a blue stone. His mother calls for him, but he is interrupted by Holly, who sees nothing until she touches the blue crystal as well. Holding it together, they are both beckoned by their mother to "come home," but then she quickly adds, "Too late. Come tomorrow. Don't tell." Will explains to Holly that he wants to tell Rick about his discovery but for some reason he is unable to. Holly replies that she will tell their father if he does not and Will sincerely hopes that she can. Will theorizes that they were looking through a time doorway that is open to a period when she was still alive. When Holly asks why her image is not very clear, her brother suggests that it might be because they do not remember her very well.

Show Luo (simplified Chinese: 罗志祥; traditional Chinese: 羅志祥; pinyin: Luó Zhìxiáng; born July 30, 1979) is a Taiwanese singer, actor and host. He was commonly known by his Chinese nickname Xiao Zhu(Little Pig) due to being overweight during his middle school years. He was also commonly known as “Asia’s Dance King” by the Taiwanese media for his dance skills. He is well known for hosting the Taiwanese variety show 100% Entertainment.
Show was born into a musical family. His father was a host and his mother was a singer. Their job was holding entertainment shows for different events such as the wedding.Show started playing drums when he was three and performed onstage during his childhood. He won a silver award at a singing contest when he was only 7.
In 2006, he created his own fashion brand called STAGE. Now this fashion store has branches in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore and succeeded in the fashion trend in Asia during the recent years.
Show Luo became the spokesperson for Love Blind Charity in 2008. Next year, he was asked to become the leader of “Love Blind promise Career Starter Class”. The Love Blind Charity hope Show Luo can gathering everyone’s power to help people with vision disability find a job. Show Luo encouraged people to put the coins into the donation box instead of their wallets. This money might give people with vision disability more opportunities. Show also designed some items for charity sales.
Covers (James Taylor album)
Covers is the sixteenth studio album and the first "covers" album by singer-songwriter James Taylor, released on September 30, 2008. The album was recorded by Taylor's regular touring band. Some of the tunes Taylor had been performing off and on in concerts for years, while others were new to his repertoire. The effort garnered modestly good reviews and two Grammy Award nominations.
History
The album was recorded over ten snowed-in days in January 2008, in a converted barn in Weston, Massachusetts. Taylor was able to assemble his regular touring group (lately dubbed "The Band of Legends") to all be present at the same time, which was rare in the contemporary recording scene. Thus, few if any overdubs were necessary during the recording process. Some of the tunes Taylor had been performing off and on in concerts for years, while others were new to his repertoire. Altogether, 20 songs were recorded.
In promotion of Covers, Taylor appeared on numerous television shows. On the September 30 edition of The Colbert Report, he humorously answered a question regarding his philosophy by simply performing "(I'm a) Road Runner" in its entirety.

Hands is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was founded in 2012 and previously released an EP, Massive Context, on Small Plates Records. Their first single was debuted by Nylon Magazine in April 2012. The band also released a 7” on White Iris Records in January 2013. In January, the band signed to Kill Rock Stars and announced that its forthcoming debut full-length, Synesthesia, would be released by the label on April 30, 2013. The first single from the album, "Trouble", was debuted exclusively on Stereogum, and the band performed at SXSW in 2013. On January 9, 2013, Lauren Laverne featured "Trouble" between Depeche Mode and Veronica Falls on BBC6., and later featured it as the BBC MPFree of the day. On January 23, 2013, Nylon Magazine premiered the first single from their new 7" release on White Iris Records. The track, entitled "All I Want To Know", was subsequently featured by Filter Magazine.
