Police issue CCTV of shopping centre assault suspect

Police have issued CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with a religiously aggravated assault against a woman in Stirling six months ago.

The 27-year-old was shopping with a child when she was targeted near the Sports Direct shop in the Thistle Shopping Centre on 18 April.

The man was described as being between 18 and 20-years-old, about 5ft 11in, of slim build and with black hair.

He was wearing a black jacket and black trousers.

Sgt Robert Russell said: "While the victim was not physically injured, she was deeply offended and upset by this incident.

"We are keen to trace the male in the CCTV footage and would ask anyone who can assist us to contact police immediately."
