We took a little bacon and we took a little beans

On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
We looked down the river and we see'd the British come
and there musta' been a hundred of 'em beating on the drum.
They stepped so high and they made their bugles ring
We stood beside our cotton bales and didn't say a thing.
We fired our guns, and the British kept a-coming
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to running,
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
Ole Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise
If we didn't fire our muskets 'till we look 'em in the eyes.
We held our fire 'til we seen their faces swell
Then we opened up our squirrel guns and really gave 'em... Well..

1814 are a 8 piece NZ reggae group who are musically inspired by living around the beautiful Whangaroa Harbour.
They have been performing on the NZ music scene for 2 years, playing with acts such as Katchafire, Conerstone Roots, House Of Shem, Three Houses Down and Che Fu.
Their track, Get Up, was included on the Conscious Roots 3 compilation and they have recently released their debut album, Jah Rydem.

Под Петербургом, в Царском Селе в 1814 году происходит цепь загадочных убийств. От рук неизвестного погибают молодые женщины. Эти смерти объединяет один и тот же почерк — звериная жестокость и странное орудие, которым наносятся увечья. Размеренное течение жизни обитателей Царского Села нарушено... В народе уже придумали прозвище злодею — Царскосельский душегубец. Здесь же, в Царском Селе, находится Лицей (закрытая элитная школа при императорском дворе Александра I). Самому старшему из учащихся — 18 (Иван Малиновский), самому младшему — 14 (Данзас) . Среди них — Александр Горчаков, Иван Пущин, Александр Пушкин, Вильгельм Кюхельбекер, Антон Дельвиг. В будущем их имена навсегда войдут в историю России, но сейчас это обычные школяры и лоботрясы, которые влюбляются, напиваются, проказничают, пишут стихи, бегают на свидания, вызывают друг друга на дуэль, шутят над преподавателями, устраивают тайные общества и ввязываются в любые сомнительные предприятия. Со свойственным своему возрасту юношеским азартом лицеисты подключаются и к поискам преступника. Но, случайно узнав, кто скрывается под маской злодея, они оказываются в смертельной опасности...
За основу сценария Дмитрий Миропольскй взял собственный роман «1814/Восемнадцать-четырнадцать».
В кинотеатрах была показана сильно сокращенная версия: 90 минут вместо предусмотренных сценарием 120 минут. Телевизионная версия фильма (более полная, однако с изменённой логикой последовательности сцен) регулярно демонстрируется на телеканале СТС и др.
Результаты проката: бокс-офис более $2 млн. (около $800 тыс. в неделю).

Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip'.
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans
And we caught the bloody British in a town in New Orleans.
We fired our guns and the British kept a-coming
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more, and they began to running,
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
We looked down the river and we see'd the British come
and there musta' been a hundred of 'em beating on the drum.
They stepped so high and they made their bugles ring
We stood beside our cotton bales and didn't say a thing.
We fired our guns, and the British kept a-coming
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to running,
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
Ole Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise
If we didn't fire our muskets 'till we look 'em in the eyes.

Сюжет (по данным Википедии):
Под Петербургом, в Царском Селе в 1814 году происходит цепь загадочных убийств. От рук неизвестного погибают молодые женщины. Эти смерти объединяет один и тот же почерк — звериная жестокость и странное орудие, которым наносятся увечья. Размеренное течение жизни обитателей Царского Села нарушено... В народе уже придумали прозвище злодею — Царскосельский душегубец. Здесь же, в Царском Селе, находится Лицей (закрытая элитная школа при императорском дворе Александра I). Самому старшему из учащихся — 18 (Иван Малиновский), самому младшему — 14 (Данзас) . Среди них — Александр Горчаков, Иван Пущин, Александр Пушкин, Вильгельм Кюхельбекер, Антон Дельвиг. В будущем их имена навсегда войдут в историю России, но сейчас это обычные школяры и лоботрясы, которые влюбляются, напиваются, проказничают, пишут стихи, бегают на свидания, вызывают друг друга на дуэль, шутят над преподавателями, устраивают тайные общества и ввязываются в любые сомнительные предприятия. Со свойственным своему возрасту юношеским азартом лицеисты подключаются и к поискам преступника. Но, случайно узнав, кто скрывается под маской злодея, они оказываются в смертельной опасности...
За основу сценария Дмитрий Миропольскй взял собственный роман «1814/Восемнадцать-четырнадцать».
В кинотеатрах была показана сильно сокращенная версия: 90 минут вместо предусмотренных сценарием 120 минут. Телевизионная версия фильма (более полная, однако с изменённой логикой последовательности сцен) регулярно демонстрируется на телеканале СТС и др.
Результаты проката: бокс-офис более $2 млн. (около $800 тыс. в неделю).

Сюжет (по данным Википедии):
Под Петербургом, в Царском Селе в 1814 году происходит цепь загадочных убийств. От рук неизвестного погибают молодые женщины. Эти смерти объединяет один и тот же почерк — звериная жестокость и странное орудие, которым наносятся увечья. Размеренное течение жизни обитателей Царского Села нарушено... В народе уже придумали прозвище злодею — Царскосельский душегубец. Здесь же, в Царском Селе, находится Лицей (закрытая элитная школа при императорском дворе Александра I). Самому старшему из учащихся — 18 (Иван Малиновский), самому младшему — 14 (Данзас) . Среди них — Александр Горчаков, Иван Пущин, Александр Пушкин, Вильгельм Кюхельбекер, Антон Дельвиг. В будущем их имена навсегда войдут в историю России, но сейчас это обычные школяры и лоботрясы, которые влюбляются, напиваются, проказничают, пишут стихи, бегают на свидания, вызывают друг друга на дуэль, шутят над преподавателями, устраивают тайные общества и ввязываются в любые сомнительные предприятия. Со свойственным своему возрасту юношеским азартом лицеисты подключаются и к поискам преступника. Но, случайно узнав, кто скрывается под маской злодея, они оказываются в смертельной опасности...
За основу сценария Дмитрий Миропольскй взял собственный роман «1814/Восемнадцать-четырнадцать».
В кинотеатрах была показана сильно сокращенная версия: 90 минут вместо предусмотренных сценарием 120 минут. Телевизионная версия фильма (более полная, однако с изменённой логикой последовательности сцен) регулярно демонстрируется на телеканале СТС и др.
Результаты проката: бокс-офис более $2 млн. (около $800 тыс. в неделю).
