During the past year Tanzanian-born, South African poet/MC Tumi Molekane has been travelling around Africa performing festivals and shooting a documentary film with director Vincent Moloi, tracing back his childhood in exile and re-establishing musical relationships he has cultivated over his career. Illite Mc also known as Illy Amin is a rapper based in Johannesburg who is part of a collective of rappers known as Revivolution. His career began in 2007 in school with his friends but has grown in leaps and bounds. Since 2012 Illy has been making a mark on the Joburg hiphop scene. The rapper has featured numerous times on YFM's Full Clip Hip-Hop show hosted by Siz n Scoop and released a music video "Trolling" to critical acclaim. He has the honour of being the first ever SA champion of Battle rap in 2013 when he won the Scrambles4Money Foreign Exchange tournament where as a result he got a chance to battle in the world renowned King Of The Dot World Domination 4 event in Toronto Canada. Upon his return he participated in the Redbull Bass Camp, where 30 young artists were selected from around South Africa to collaborate musically and learn from legendary musicians such as Hugh Masekela and Black Coffee. The rapper continues to work on his music in 2014 and is slated to release his debut mix-tape Straight Outta Grime Town in the first quarter of 2014.

Tumi
The Tumi is a sacrificial ceremonial axe distinctly characterized by a semi-circular blade, made of either bronze, copper, gold-alloy, wood, or silver alloy. It is usually made of one piece and used by some Inca and Pre-Inca cultures in the Peruvian Coastal Region. In Andean mythology, the Moche, Chimu and Incas were descendants of the Sun, which had to be worshiped annually with an extravagant celebration. The festival took place at the end of the potato and maize harvest in order to thank the Sun for the abundant crops or to ask for better crops during the next season. During this important religious ceremony, the High Priest would sacrifice a completely black or white llama. Using a tumi, he would open the animal's chest and with his hands pull out its throbbing heart, lungs and viscera, so that observing those elements he could foretell the future. Later, the animal and its parts were completely incinerated.
Other Andean cultures such as the Paracas have used the tumi for the neurological procedure of skull trepanation. Many of these operations were carefully performed, suggesting that the surgery was done for the relief of some body disturbance other than that associated with injury, perhaps an organic or mental condition.

Mr. Porter
Denaun Porter (born December 7, 1978), also known by the stage names Mr. Porter and Kon Artis, is an American rapper and record producer. He was best known as a member of Detroit rap group D12, until his departure in 2012, to focus on his solo career as a producer and rapper. In 2014 he rejoined D12 and was featured on the Shady XV album.
Career
Porter was an original member of Detroit hip-hop group D12.
Throughout his career he has both produced and performed vocally, producing songs for many notable artists such as Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Royce Da 5'9" and 50 Cent (produced the song "P.I.M.P."). Mr. Porter has also produced two songs for rap group Slaughterhouse's major label debut, Welcome To: Our House.
Denaun is one of Eminem's hype man after the death of D12 band member Proof. He is also officially signed to Eminem's label Shady Records as a producer & has worked with Shady artists Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, 50 Cent & D12.
Mr Porter is now most notably seen supporting Eminem live, to add extra effect to shows or to allow Eminem to take a breath while in mid performance. In 2013 he starred Eminem's performance of Rap God live at the very first Youtube Music Awards (YTMA). In 2014 he supported Eminem at Wembley Stadium and at "The Monster Tour" with Rihanna.
