» » The films with the most nominations at the 74th Golden Globe Awards are La La Land with seven and Moonlight with six. One begins with a sparkling musical number on a Los Angeles freeway, the other starts with a scared child, nicknamed “Little,” being chased into an abandoned motel by a pack of bullies. Try to guess which one Jimmy Fallon parodied in the cold open.
As expected, the Globes kicked off with an homage to the “Another Day of Sun” scene from La La Land, which director Damien Chazelle said was inspired by the “cacophony of sounds coming out of cars” in Los Angeles and “using that soundscape to build into an opening musical number and having a fantastical musical number arise out of a bunch of realistic city sounds.”
There was so much to look at during the opening: Amy Adams, Evan Rachel Wood, and John Travolta dancing; Rami Malek (as Elliot from Mr. Robot); Jon Snow (who knows nothing about playing dead); the Stranger Things kids dropping rhymes and Barb descending from a pool; Ryan Reynolds spitting a mint into Jimmy Fallon’s mouth; Tina Fey as Emma Stone’s La La Land character; and Fallon and Justin Timberlake dancing (and doing a lot more) in the stars. It was a literally star-studded opening to a star-studded affair.

Of very few individual songs can it be said, ‘This changed the course of popular music.’ ‘A Day In The Life’ is one such song.
Recorded in January and February 1967, a large orchestra was assembled for the amazing additional flourishes and fills, although at first the 40 classically trained musicians struggled with the concept of what they were being asked to play.
George Martin and Paul conducted the orchestra and helped to create a finished track that was more than just different, it was utterly unique. Starting from John’s beautiful song, the end result was something simply unbelievable.
As you can see from the film, this was no ordinary recording session. The classical musicians, who had been asked to wear evening dress, took it upon themselves to wear fake noses, funny hats and generally enter into the spirit of the occasion. Filmed between 8pm and 1am with guests including Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, the occasion provided some of the inspiration for what transpired during the recording and filming of ‘All You Need Is Love’ for the Our World project.

While ChuChu, ChaCha, Chika and Chiku play together, Rain threatens to pour down! This is noticed by their umbrella friends who sense heavy rain and come to the rescue of the kids who are about to get wet. The umbrella friends then request the rain to go away and to allow the kids to play. The rain finally accepts the request of the umbrella friends and the kids play together again.

Seasons in the Sun" was a worldwide hit song for Terry Jacks in 1974. It was first released in the United States and Canada early in the year, and rose to number one in America by March 2. An earlier recording appeared on The Kingston Trio's 1963 album, Time to Think. The song had also been done by English band The Fortunes in 1968, and by Pearls Before Swine in 1970/71.
The song was based on "Le Moribond" ("The Dying Man"), written by Jacques Brel in 1961. Brel's song was translated into English by poet Rod McKuen and this version was first recorded by Bob Shane of the Kingston Trio, but it did not sell. The Beach Boys also recorded the song but it was never released.
Terry Jacks, who had participated in the Beach Boys recording, and who had in fact introduced the song to the group, rewrote part of the lyrics to "lighten them up." Jacks' revisions tended to add a bit of ambiguity as to the nature of the storyteller's demise, allowing listeners the option to choose whether the death is from suicide over a failed life - quite possibly to escape drug addiction - or someone accepting death from natural causes, or cancer. References to a cheating wife were also removed.

Rain
Rain is liquid water in the form of droplets that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and then precipitated—that is, become heavy enough to fall under gravity. Rain is a major component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on the Earth. It provides suitable conditions for many types of ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.
The major cause of rain production is moisture moving along three-dimensional zones of temperature and moisture contrasts known as weather fronts. If enough moisture and upward motion is present, precipitation falls from convective clouds (those with strong upward vertical motion) such as cumulonimbus (thunder clouds) which can organize into narrow rainbands. In mountainous areas, heavy precipitation is possible where upslope flow is maximized within windward sides of the terrain at elevation which forces moist air to condense and fall out as rainfall along the sides of mountains. On the leeward side of mountains, desert climates can exist due to the dry air caused by downslope flow which causes heating and drying of the air mass. The movement of the monsoon trough, or intertropical convergence zone, brings rainy seasons to savannah climes.

Seasons in the Sun" was a worldwide hit song for Terry Jacks in 1974. It was first released in the United States and Canada early in the year, and rose to number one in America by March 2. An earlier recording appeared on The Kingston Trio's 1963 album, Time to Think. The song had also been done by English band The Fortunes in 1968, and by Pearls Before Swine in 1970/71. The song was based on "Le Moribond" ("The Dying Man"), written by Jacques Brel in 1961. Brel's song was translated into English by poet Rod McKuen and this version was first recorded by Bob Shane of the Kingston Trio, but it did not sell. The Beach Boys also recorded the song but it was never released. Terry Jacks, who had participated in the Beach Boys recording, and who had in fact introduced the song to the group, rewrote part of the lyrics to "lighten them up." Jacks' revisions tended to add a bit of ambiguity as to the nature of the storyteller's demise, allowing listeners the option to choose whether the death is from suicide over a failed life - quite possibly to escape drug addiction - or someone accepting death from natural causes, or cancer. References to a cheating wife were also removed. -

It was a literally star-studded opening to a star-studded affair.

Filmed between 8pm and 1am with guests including Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, the occasion provided some of the inspiration for what transpired during the recording and filming of ‘All You Need Is Love’ for the Our World project.

While ChuChu, ChaCha, Chika and Chiku play together, Rain threatens to pour down! This is noticed by their umbrella friends who sense heavy rain and come to the rescue of the kids who are about to get wet. The umbrella friends then request the rain to go away and to allow the kids to play. The rain finally accepts the request of the umbrella friends and the kids play together again.

Seasons in the Sun" was a worldwide hit song for Terry Jacks in 1974. It was first released in the United States and Canada early in the year, and rose to number one in America by March 2. An earlier recording appeared on The Kingston Trio's 1963 album, Time to Think. The song had also been done by English band The Fortunes in 1968, and by Pearls Before Swine in 1970/71.
The song was based on "Le Moribond" ("The Dying Man"), written by Jacques Brel in 1961. Brel's song was translated into English by poet Rod McKuen and this version was first recorded by Bob Shane of the Kingston Trio, but it did not sell. The Beach Boys also recorded the song but it was never released.
Terry Jacks, who had participated in the Beach Boys recording, and who had in fact introduced the song to the group, rewrote part of the lyrics to "lighten them up." Jacks' revisions tended to add a bit of ambiguity as to the nature of the storyteller's demise, allowing listeners the option to choose whether the death is from suicide over a failed life - quite possibly to escape drug addiction - or someone accepting death from natural causes, or cancer. References to a cheating wife were also removed.

We are on our way up to our favourite engineer Darren and so it seemed a good time to give this a test. It has been long tiring getting up with the sun moving and only stopping when the sun is setting but we are almost there! all in all travelling day are very pleasant days. Brevard Zoo is run by a group of volunteers. #brevard zoo has giraffes and cheetahs, but no tiger. This #brevardzoo tour is lovely. 4K Video On a sunny day we went to the Brevard Zoo. There were five toddlers and seven adults. We worship the zoo like it is a cult. We saw and fed the giraffe. We wondered why its neck is as tall as a flagstaff? On a sunny day we went to the Brevard Zoo. There were five toddlers and seven adults. We worship the zoo like it is a cult.
We saw and fed the giraffe. We wondered why its neck is as tall as a flagstaff?
We saw birds that dressed up like they are on a catwalk. They make noise that we called squawk.
We looked at the monkeys and looked at ourselves. Oh my goodness we look just like little elves.
What a fun time we had. The zoo is not a fad. We will come back and visit another day. But now we have to go and catch the sun ray.

The big astrology aspects this week are the Sun and Mercury both square Uranus and trine Mars. So this week we are looking to making a powerful and sudden change in our lives. The Uranus squares sever us from stagnant energies that hold us back and the Mars trines give us the confidence to speak our minds. Also Venus and Mercury entering the sign of Leo will give more confidence to public speaking and standing up for ourselves.
The week culminates on Saturday with 3 planetary aspects that are sure to make for a great summer weekend.

Sunday: Active Sunday, good for recreational pursuits or just getting out of the house with Mercury trine Mars.
Monday: Manic Monday. The pace quickens, critical thinking is necessary with Mercury square Uranus.
