Michael Potok is a hard-working, incredibly talented professional voice actor who has provided the voices for hundreds of characters. His work on The Badly Animated Spider-Man and Badly Animated Avengers as Peter Parker / Spider-Man is just a small taste of his range and abilities. Michael's video response is unedited. It's not glossed up and these are his words, not mine. It is in response to the news that I, Moxxi, had made the unfortunate decision to cancel the Badly Animated series of cartoons because of low views and low retention. (the cartoons currently in production WILL be released). Michael and I share the same views on the cast of incredible voice actors brought together on this project as well as the love for the few fans that we do have. I'm not quite sure we share the same views on me however, but I appreciate Michael's compliments. I am a rather nice person but as for being (and I'm paraphrasing a bit from the video) "the smartest person in the world, plus the strongest, also the greatest and better looking than all of Hollywood combined and a natural man's man, who makes Ron Swanson look like a french maid, and who also smells like fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies combined with God's musk and Bill Gates wallet" I think that's what he said, I wasn't paying attention at that part, but I think that was the gist. Unfortunately me being a nice person doesn't translate into getting people to watch The Badly Animated Series of cartoons and that makes me sad-ish, because I believe the people involved in the show, as well as myself, aren't doing it for the accolades (spoiler alert - there are none!) but to entertain. But when we can't get viewers to watch a 15 min cartoon (or 45 minute if you count The Avengers) then that tells us we're just wasting our time. Please don't make us waste OUR time, we want YOU to waste YOUR time. So yeah, I don't want to waste these talented people's valuable time. They're voice actors! They've got shit to do! So do I for that matter. And they're not JUST voice actors. These are the voice actors you're going to hear on TV, in commercials, in cartoons, movies etc, if you haven't already. Get to know them NOW, before they're ultra Tara Strong famous and won't give you the time of day. If you want Badly Animated to continue, I'm not asking for donations. I'm not asking for Kickstarter Funds. I'm just asking that you share these cartoons with anyone and everyone you meet in hopes to build an audience. Comment and Like the videos. That's the only feedback we are able to use to our advantage to attract more fans. Please take a moment and share it on Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, write the URL inside the bathroom stall at work, tattoo the logo on your face, pay for an electronic billboard in Times Square, get an astronaut to sing the theme song from space (even though there aren't lyrics), ask the Pope to mention Badly Animated during Easter Mass, get Alec Baldwin to call the cartoons a homophobic and racist slur, have Louis louis Vuitton make a handbag with images from the cartoon and then get Jennifer Lawrence to lug it around to the Oscars....these things aren't hard to do people! Tell your friends or BA will be done for. it's already on life support and I've just finished filling out the "do not resuscitate" form. If the show doesn't grow an audience or increase its retention, I too want to thank the great cast who worked so hard on this (and still are as there are still shows to finish). I am honored that you wanted to be a part of this project and that you were dedicated and excited to do it.
