A great video of an abandoned Russian military base in the arctic being recommissioned. The Arctic (/ˈɑrktɪk/ or /ˈɑrtɪk/)[1][Note 1] is a polar region located at the northernmost part of the Earth. The Arctic consists of the Arctic Ocean and parts of Alaska (United States), Canada, Finland, Greenland (Denmark), Iceland, Norway, Russia, and Sweden. The Arctic region consists of a vast ocean with a seasonally varying ice cover, surrounded by treeless permafrost. The area can be defined as north of the Arctic Circle (66° 33'N), the approximate limit of the midnight sun and the polar night. Alternatively, it can be defined as the region where the average temperature for the warmest month (July) is below 10 °C (50 °F); the northernmost tree line roughly follows the isotherm at the boundary of this region.[3][4]
Socially and politically, the Arctic region includes the northern territories of the eight Arctic states, although by natural science definitions, much of this territory is considered subarctic. The Arctic region is a unique area among Earth's ecosystems. For example, the cultures in the region and the Arctic indigenous peoples have adapted to its cold and extreme conditions. In recent years, the extent of the sea ice has declined.[5][6] Life in the Arctic includes organisms living in the ice, zooplankton and phytoplankton, fish and marine mammals, birds, land animals, plants and human societies.[7]

Happy Thanksgiving! In this video, we go on a patrol that defies federalism, and exercise a poorly defined jurisdiction as we respond to callouts that don't make any sense in and around Fort Zancudo. The main event comes when a massive shootout breaks out near one of the hangars, one of my soldiers falls off the truck (he was the one who refuses to get inside) and we have to go back in to rescue him. We quickly realize that we are outgunned, and decide to hop in a fighter jet to try to bombard the bad guys from the air. We try to escape in a Titan, except somehow, one of my guys FALLS OUT OF THE PLANE. Since nobody gets left behind, we try to land and pick him up, but while trying to land an enemy steals a jet, and starts attacking us with missiles, shooting us down. I try to strategically wait for the opportune moment to shoot homing rockets at them, but keep coming up short. Eventually, I have to get in a fighter jet of my own, and we have a proper dogfight on our hands. Also, I didn't forget to go check out what the deal is with those big slides from the last video. Enjoy!

Grand Theft Auto V, also known as GTA 5 or GTA V, is an upcoming Rockstar North video game currently in development. It is the fifteenth instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series.
Announced on October 25, 2011, the game's first trailer was released on November 2, 2011, at 4:00 PM GMT. The game was initially slated for a Spring 2013 release, but was pushed to September 17th the same year. Then, on July 15, 2013, Rockstar announced the Japanese release date for the game: October 10, 2013, almost a month after it will be released in the west.
Grand Theft Auto V is to be set in modern-day Los Santos and its surrounding areas and tells the stories of three protagonists: Michael, Franklin and Trevor.

Military base
A military base is a facility directly owned and operated by or for the military or one of its branches that shelters military equipment and personnel, and facilitates training and operations. In general, a military base provides accommodations for one or more units, but it may also be used as a command center, a training ground, or a proving ground. In most cases, a military base relies on some outside help in order to operate. However, certain complex bases are able to endure by themselves for long periods because they are able to provide food, water and other life support necessities for their inhabitants while under siege.
The military sense of the term base dates from the 1860s.
Jurisdictional definition
Bases are usually extra-legal jurisdictions not subject to civil law. They can range from small outposts to military cities containing up to 100,000 people. Some military bases may belong to a different nation or state than the territory surrounding it.
Naming
The name used generally refers to the type of military activity that takes place at the base.

Happy Thanksgiving! In this video, we go on a patrol that defies federalism, and exercise a poorly defined jurisdiction as we respond to callouts that don't make any sense in and around Fort Zancudo. The main event comes when a massive shootout breaks out near one of the hangars, one of my soldiers falls off the truck (he was the one who refuses to get inside) and we have to go back in to rescue him.
