Fr. Austin Dominic Litke, O.P., Fr. Bob Koopman, O.S.B., & Leah Sedlacek perform a new arrangement of the beautiful 17th century hymn, "The Call", composed by George Herbert and later made famous by Ralph Vaughan Williams. This arrangement is by Edward A. David, a graduate of the piano performance program at NYU Steinhardt.
The video was shot by Blackfriar Films, which is the media division of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph. The crew is composed of graduates of the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU: Joshua Vargas, John Fisher, and Michael Crommett.
Inspired by Pope Francis's call for Catholics to take to the streets in sharing the Gospel, Blackfriar Films hit New York City for this project. Scenes were filmed at the Brooklyn Bridge, Our Lady of Good Counsel parish, Grand Central Station, Columbus Circle, and the Staten Island ferry.

The definition of 'rush hour' in London grows woollier as the years pass: at its worst it seems to stretch demonically from 6am to 9pm.
Journey back over a century to July 1896, though, and this tantalising half-minute of footage reveals our Victorian counterparts making their way to work across the Thames by tram, horse-drawn carriage and, for the health-conscious (or the poor), good old Shanks' pony. More or less business as usual then, although compared to the daily human onslaught we face in 21st century London, the commuters caught by R.W. Another Southeastern morning rush hour video, at London Blackfriars briefly and then London Victoria. I was to cover London Victoria, but when I found out about a Southeastern service consisting of Class 375s that terminated at Blackfriars from Dover, I had to film it, it is the only 375 service to call at London Blackfriars. Also I had caught a Southeastern (Thameslink) Class 377 terminating at Blackfriars which is not a common sight. I then filmed both trains working empty including the 377 heading off to London Victoria (so it can reverse and head to Grosvenor Shed).
I then took the Circle Line a few stops to Victoria and caught several Southeastern 375s, 465s and 466s. I also filmed the same TL Class 377 at Blackfriars, departing for Grosvenor Shed. I also caught another 377 from Blackfriars and then heading off to Grosvenor Shed. Last but not least, I came to Victoria to see 44871 & 45407, on a railtour to Minster.
Each train in this video is provided with service details: headcode, origin (and time) and destination.

Another Southeastern morning rush hour video, at London Blackfriars briefly and then London Victoria. I was to cover London Victoria, but when I found out about a Southeastern service consisting of Class 375s that terminated at Blackfriars from Dover, I had to film it, it is the only 375 service to call at London Blackfriars. Also I had caught a Southeastern (Thameslink) Class 377 terminating at Blackfriars which is not a common sight. I then filmed both trains working empty including the 377 heading off to London Victoria (so it can reverse and head to Grosvenor Shed).
I then took the Circle Line a few stops to Victoria and caught several Southeastern 375s, 465s and 466s. I also filmed the same TL Class 377 at Blackfriars, departing for Grosvenor Shed. I also caught another 377 from Blackfriars and then heading off to Grosvenor Shed. Last but not least, I came to Victoria to see 44871 & 45407, on a railtour to Minster.
Each train in this video is provided with service details: headcode, origin (and time) and destination.
