"Fire Squad" is a song by American rapper J. Cole, taken from his third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive. The song samples "Midnight Theme" performed by Manzel and "Long Red" by Mountain and "Heart Breaker" by Aguaturbia, and was produced by J. Cole and Vinylz.
"Fire Squad" received mixed reviews from music critics. Justin Charity of Complex said ""Fire Squad" offers timely premonition: "This year I’ll probably go to the awards [show] dappered down/Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile." Such rebellious tidbits are sprinkled throughout Forest Hills, mostly in the spirit of black pride and unprecedented manhood, such as in the song G.O.M.D: "'Why every rich black nigga gotta be famous?' 'Why every broke black nigga gotta be brainless?'/ . . . That's a stereotype, driven by some people up in Ariel Heights." These are lyrical preoccupations that rap critics disregard as earnest, unfortunately; Cole's black power theses aren't backed by threats of absurd violence, so Cole's music is allegedly boring."
Nicholas Jerry "Nick" Jonas (born September 16, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter and actor, best known as one of the Jonas Brothers, a pop rock band he formed with his brothers Kevin and Joe. The Jonas Brothers originally started as an attempted solo singing career for Nick Jonas, but the record producer liked the sound when his brothers sang backup for him. Nick starred in the Disney Channel original movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, as well as the TV series Jonas L.A., alongside his brothers. He formed the band Nick Jonas & The Administration, which released its first album in 2010.
Jonas currently stars in the DirectTV drama series Kingdom which premiered on the Audience Network in the fall of 2014. He released his self-titled studio album the same year, preceded by the single "Jealous". In the fall of 2015, Jonas was also cast in a recurring role on the first season of the Fox horror comedy anthology series Scream Queens.
Billy Bob's Texas is a popular country & western nightclub in the Fort Worth Stockyards, Texas, United States. It promotes itself as "The World's Largest Honky Tonk" with 127,000 square feet (12,000 m²). Billy Bob's opened April 1, 1981 to national attention with Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers as the first performers. Other artists who appeared that first week were Waylon Jennings, Janie Fricke and Willie Nelson. Since, artists such as Pat Green have carried on the tradition. In addition to several dance floors, musical stages, arcade games, and billiards tables, Billy Bob's is the home to a small indoor rodeo arena, in which they have weekend bullriding events.
Built as a cattle barn in the early 1900s, the building was enclosed as a City of Fort Worth Centennial project in 1936. With sloped floors for easy cleaning due to the cattle pens, the building also had the perfect setting for a concert venue. That would have to wait nearly 40 years. During that gap, the building was used as an AT-10 airplane manufacturing plant and a department store. Clark’s Department Store was so large that the stock boys had to wear roller skates.
Hunter Doherty "Patch" Adams (born May 28, 1945) is an American physician, comedian, social activist, clown, and author. He founded the Gesundheit! Institute in 1971. Each year he organizes a group of volunteers from around the world to travel to various countries where they dress as clowns in an effort to bring humor to orphans, patients, and other people.
Adams is currently based in Urbana, Illinois. In collaboration with the institute, he promotes an alternative health care model not funded by insurance policies. As of April 2015, he serves on the Green Shadow Cabinet of the United States as "Assistant Secretary of Health for Holistic Health".
Adams was born in Washington, D.C., the son of Anna Campbell Stewart (née Hunter) and Robert Loughridge Adams. His maternal grandfather, Thomas Lomax Hunter, was the Poet Laureate of Virginia. His father, an officer in the United States Army, had fought in Korea, and died while stationed in Germany when Adams was a teenager. After his father's death, Adams returned to the United States with his mother and brother. Adams has stated that upon his return he encountered institutional injustice which made him a target for bullies at school. As a result, Adams was unhappy and became actively suicidal. After being hospitalized three times in one year for wanting to end his life, he decided "you don't kill yourself, stupid; you make revolution."
