Spain (i/ˈspeɪn/; Spanish: España [esˈpaɲa]), officially the Kingdom of Spain (Spanish: Reino de España), is a sovereign state largely located on the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe, with archipelagos in the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, and several small territories on and near the north African coast. Its mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar; to the north and northeast by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west and northwest by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean. Along with France and Morocco, it is one of only three countries to have both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. Extending to 1,214 km (754 mi), the Portugal–Spain border is the longest uninterrupted border within the European Union.
Spanish territory includes two archipelagos: the Balearic Islands, in the Mediterranean Sea, and the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean off the African coast. It also includes two major exclaves, Ceuta and Melilla, in continental North Africa; and the islands and peñones (rocks) of Alborán, Alhucemas, Chafarinas and Vélez de la Gomera. With an area of 505,990 km2 (195,360 sq mi), Spain is the second largest country in Western Europe and the European Union, and the fourth largest country in Europe. By population, Spain is the sixth largest in Europe and the fifth in the European Union.

Bon Jovi is an American rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey. Formed in 1983, Bon Jovi consists of lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi (born John Francis Bongiovi, Jr.), pianist and keyboard player David Bryan, and drummer Tico Torres. The band's lineup has remained mostly static during its history, with the only exceptions being the 1994 dismissal of bass player Alec John Such, who was unofficially replaced by Hugh McDonald, and the departure of longtime guitarist and co-songwriter Richie Sambora in 2013. In 1986, Bon Jovi achieved widespread global recognition with their third album, Slippery When Wet. The band's fourth album, New Jersey was equally successful in 1988. After touring and recording non-stop during the late 1980s, the band went on hiatus following the New Jersey Tour in 1990, during which time Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora both released successful solo albums. In 1992, the band returned with the album Keep the Faith. Their 2000 single "It's My Life", which followed a second hiatus, successfully introduced the band to a younger audience. Bon Jovi have been known to use different styles in their music, which has included country for their 2007 album Lost Highway. On March 12, 2013, Bon Jovi released their 12th studio album, What About Now.

Máquina! and it was clearly so rebellious under a dictature that fellow group Tapiman (and Barcelona crosstown rivals/friends) answered them with a track Don't Ask Why. The five-piece group developed a high-energy Hammond-driven psych/prog rock with two lead guitarists, with many extraordinary musical moments given the context of those years. Spain was formed in Los Angeles in 1993 by Josh Haden (son to jazz legend Charlie Haden). The group released three albums: The Blue Moods of Spain, She Haunts My Dreams and I Believe. Spirituals -- The Best of Spain is a collection of some of their most poignant songs (+ two never before released and three live versions). Their song "Spiritual" was covered by Johnny Cash on his 1996 Unchained album, and by Soulsavers on their 2007 release It's Not How Far You Fall, It's the Way You Land. The band's latest release, Soul of Spain, was released in 2012 after a successful crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter. Enric Duran is currently considered a fugitive in Spain for borrowing 500,000 euros from several banks without any intention of paying back the loans, & distributing them amongst projects he saw as valuable to the people. We walked or drove or took a train somewhere near or far. We met at a mutually agreed location. We talked ideas. My goal was to be objective during the interview. Not sure if that was a success. But I will say, these conversations are valuable. Keep in mind the language barrier when watching. To clarify my own views: I believe in free market capitalism. I believe in private property. I am faithless regarding collectivist ideas, but I don't have objection to any anti-state projects as long as they do not use force. I personally have not fully grasped the way the CIC fu...

Here are my top pros and cons of living in Spain. I have lived in Madrid for 5 years and talk about the advantages and disadvantages from my experiences of living in this fascinating country. I discuss typical topics such as food, weather, lifestyle and more in-depth issues such as self-employment, the education system and embracing a new culture. I try to always have a positive outlook on things but I strongly believe it is important to be realistic about things as well which is why I have also talked about the cons of living in Spain. These are not reasons not to do it, more just things to be aware of so you don't have any bad surprises or unrealistic expectations. I apologise in advance for the generalisations and please understand that I am not by any means talking about all of Spain...

Software Design in the 21st Century =================================== https://www.thoughtworks.com/ In the last decade or so we've seen a number of new ideas added to the mix to help us effectively design our software. Patterns help us capture the solutions and rationale for using them. Refactoring allows us to alter the design of a system after the code is written. Agile methods, in particular Extreme Programming, give us a highly iterative and evolutionary approach which is particularly well suited to changing requirements and environments. Martin Fowler has been a leading voice in these techniques and will give a suite of short talks featuring various aspects of how these and other developments affect our software development.
The Monteverdi Choir/John Eliot Gardiner - Pilgrimage to Santiago In the first century after Christ, Saint James 'The Great' (that is the apostle, not the writer of the eponymous Epistle) is believed to have traveled to Spain and preached there. Following his martyrdom at the hands of Herod, his remains were taken back to Compostela in Galicia. By the eleventh century a major pilgrimage route to Santiago was established on the strength of this. Following the immense success of the year-long Bach Cantata Pilgrimage in 2000, the Monteverdi Choir set off for a shorter but very intense project along the Spanish pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. The programme was entirely a cappella music from Spain's golden age, and it was performed in churches and cathedrals of outstanding beauty ...
I believe for every drop of rain
That falls a flower grows
I believe that somewhere
In the darkest night a candle glows
And I believe for every one who goes astray
Someone will come to show the way
I believe, yes I believe
I believe above the storm
The smallest prayer will still be heard
I believe that someone in the great
Somewhere hears every word
Every time I hear a new born baby cry
Or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why I believe
I believe above the storm
